A Scale Development of Service Quality for Festival -Focused on Seoul Fringe Festival- (축제의 서비스 품질에 대한 척도개발 -서울프린지페스티벌을 중심으로-)

  • This study purposed to contribute to systematic management of service quality of festival by developing scale of service quality. According to the result of this study, scale of service quality in festival was developed, which are composed of 26 measuring items in 8 factors. this study suggests major factors(program quality, experience, interaction as well as tangibles, agreeability, responsiveness, access, reliability related to SERVQUAL). This study has an academic meaning in that it developed a scale of service quality suitable to festival and a practical meaning that it provided foundation of customer satisfaction management.

  • We need to measure the quality of each module to assess software quality. Especially, in industry, it is important to measure quality of modules quantitatively in order to improve bad modules and reuse good modules. In this paper, we define moduleness as characteristic that modules should be possessed and propose a method to measure software moduleness quantitatively. A case study conducted in this paper shows the usefulness of the method by measuring and evaluating moduleness of modules based on open source software developed by C, C++ and Java languages.

Testing the SERVQUAL scale and Perceived risk in the Internet Shopping-mall (인터넷쇼핑몰의 서비스품질차원과 지각된 위험에 관한연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze service quality factors that consumers perceive during their purchasing product on Internet Shopping Mall. The study defines the characteristic quality dimensions of Internet Shopping Mall by adding three dimensions consisting of convenience, security and entertainment to PZB's SERVQUAL scale. Consumers' purchase process on Internet Shopping Mall is examined by finding the relation between their perceived risk factor and repurchase intention. The study results show that consumers' higher appraisal degree on service quality means their higher repurchase intentions, their lower perceived risks degree. The repurchase intentions and the perceived risks degree have negative correlation. The more consumers have experienced buying on Internet Shopping Mall, the higher consumer assess service quality, they have higher repurchase intention and lower perceived risk. The most basic contribution is that new service quality dimensions, which is able to clarify service quality on Cyber Mall, is identified with the established PZB(I988; 1991)'s SERVQUAL dimensions.

Quality Changes in Minced Ginger Prepared with Frozen Ginger during Storage (냉동생강으로 제조한 다대기의 저장 중 품질변화)

  • As storing ginger roots under optimum conditions takes high cost, ginger roots are commonly stored in underground tunnels where the maintenance of optimum temperature and humidity is difficult. One of the methods fur long term storage of ginger roots is freezing. The objective of this research was to evaluate effect of storage temperatures and packaging methods on the quality of minced ginger prepared with frozen stored ginger. The minced ginger prepared with frozen stored ginger at $-20^{\circ}C$ was packed in bags, glass bottles and tubes, and then stored at 5 and $-20^{\circ}C$ for quality evaluation at 4 and 15 week-intervals. The changes of surface color, total free sugars, free amino acids and volatile compounds were less in the combined treatment samples than in control during storage, regardless of the storage temperature. The tube packing was the best for maintaining quality of minced ginger during storage among tested packaging methods. Sensory results showed that the minced ginger with the combined treatment and packed in tubes could be stored at 5 and $-20^{\circ}C$ for 12 and 45 weeks, respectively, without a significant drop in palatability.

  • 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트에 대한 위험관리(risk management) 이론을 근거로, 소프트웨어 품질, 요구사항 불확실성, 통제표준화, 상호작용에 대한 5개의 가설이 설정되었고, 3개의 SI 회사로부터 117개 표본이 추출되어서 구조방정식모형에 의해서 실증적으로 검증되었다. 본 연구결과에 따르면 요구사항 불확실성과 통제 표준화는 소프트웨어 품질에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않고, 사용자-프로젝트 팀 간의 상호작용에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 이를 통해서 소프트웨어 품질에 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 그럼으로, 요구사항 불확실성이 낮을수록, 그리고 통제 표준화가 높을수록, 사용자-프로젝트 팀 간의 상호작용은 높아져서 궁극적으로는 소프트웨어 품질이 높아진다고 해석할 수 있다.

  • This study investigates and analyzed to whole public offering listed company whether enterprise's integration information system exercises some influence on business users. Many medium and small enterprise introduce and operate new integrated system, but there was difficulty in Productivity Analysis that is real by unstableness of system, preservation and insufficiency of management control etc. Therefore, in this study, designed study model and research hypothesis laying stress on information strategy, system quality, information quality of information support agents to measure integration information system to relative stable enterprise. This study may become data that is useful in stable system introduction in various field of industry hereafter medium and small enterprises. This study Was construed by thing which degree that give influence of positive in user satisfaction as findings information system quality, quality of service, information support agents is good in study analysis is very high. The other side, information strategy was expose for factor that do not exert big influence on user's satisfaction, and got sequence that is affected in some degree if user satisfaction is high in details article.

Global Service Quality of Service Centers in Automotive Brands to Improve Consumer-brand Relationship Quality (소비자-브랜드 관계 품질 향상을 위한 자동차 브랜드 서비스 센터의 전반적 서비스 품질에 대한 연구)

  • This study aims to examine the impacts of service quality (SQ) on consumer-brand relationship quality (BRQ), the mediation effects of brand trust (BT) in those relationships and the moderated mediation effects of BT by the level of perceived product quality (PQ). A 376 valid sample was obtained from the consumers who have visited the service centers of automotive brands. The findings demonstrate the direct effects of SQ of the service centers in automotive brands on BRQ are not significant, while the mediation effects of BT between SQ and BRQ are significant. Moreover, the findings reveal that the mediation effects of BT in the lower perception group of PQ are stronger than those in the higher group. Based on these findings, not only the necessary roles of a service center to improve BRQ but also the transferring process from service centers' SQ to building a strong brand are discussed.

  • This study evaluated the process of software quality assurance about the initial product in a weapon system. The software quality assurance of the initial product was insufficient before this study. Therefore, the process of the software quality assurance about the initial product in a weapon system is suggested. The process has three parts. First, the completeness of computer files, such as source code and execute files, were checked. Second, the suitability of the software technical data was checked. Finally, the connectivity of software technical data and the Korean defense specification were assessed. Overall, there is a need to toughen the software quality assurance in the research and development step and achieve early stabilization of mass production by preventing the problems that prevent the production of a product due to the insufficient software technical data.

  • Although a mobile Internet telephony service becomes popular with the rapid propagation of smart phones, its service quality management system has not been prepared enough yet. For successful settlement and deployment of the mobile Internet telephony service in future, a strict service quality management is required. The service quality management using a specific measurement equipment has limitations that real-time monitoring is impossible. In this paper, therefore, we propose a proactive service quality management system for the mobile Internet telephony service and develop a software for its implementation. The developed software is verified by comparing the measurement results from the developed software to those from the softwares commonly used, and it is proved that the developed software is quite reliable.

Impact of University Service Quality and Familiarity on Recommendation Intention : Focusing on Chinese Foreign Students (대학 서비스품질과 친숙성이 추천의도에 미치는 영향: 중국인 유학생을 대상으로)

  • This study empirically analyzed impacts of interaction quality and physical environmental quality on university recommendation intention of Chinese international students in Korea. In addition this study analyzed a direct impact of familiarity toward Korea on university recommendation intention, and a moderating impact of familiarity toward Korea on the relationship among interaction quality, physical environmental quality, and university recommendation intentions of Chinese international students in Korea. For empirical analysis, this study collected 204 questionnaires in final from Chinese international students currently living in the KyungBuk province. The analysis result was that all three antecedents interaction quality, physical environmental quality, and familiarity toward Korea positively affect university recommendation intention. And the familiarity to Korea positively moderated the relationship between physical environmental quality and university recommendation intentions. Finally, this study suggested academic and practical implications.
