A Design of Software Receiver for GNSS Signal Processing

  • Recently, the research of GPS receiver which uses the Software-Defined Radio(SDR) technique is being actively proceeded instead of traditional hardware-based receiver. The software-based GPS receiver indicates that the signal acquisition and tracking treated by the hardware-based platform are processed as the software technique through a microprocessor. In this paper, GPS software receiver is designed by using SDR technique and then the signal acquisition, tracking, and the navigation message decoding parts are verified through the PC-based simulation. Moreover, the efficient algorithms are developed about the signal acquisition and tracking parts in order to obtain the accurate pseudorange. Finally, the pseudorange is calculated through the relative channel delay received through the different satellite of L1 frequency band. GPS software receiver proposed in this paper will be included in the element of GPS/Galileo complex system of development target and will provide not only the method that verifies the performance for Galileo Sensor Station standard but also usability by providing various debugging environments.

  • In the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a super-intelligent and super-connected society has arrived. Software is an important part of the core technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The ability to solve problems through software requires software education in that it is a core competency that everyone should have. Software education aims to improve Computational Thinking, which is the ability to solve problems through programming. Until now, most problem-solving programming learning models follow the traditional method of development: Waterfall model (Analysis-Design-Development-Test). In this model, if there is a problem in the preceding step, That could be found in the test phase. This takes a considerable amount of time and effort to find a solution to the problem and can be a burden on the programming learning. In this study, we proposed a Test-Driven Problem-Solving learning model using TDD (Test Driven Development) as Agile development method, and reviewed the appropriateness of the model through experts review. The verification results of the model showed positive evaluation results. In particular, the learning phase configuration of the model, helping in programming learning, helping of Computational Thinking improvement showed high rating, it is determined that there will be positive effects on Computational Thinking improvement through problem-solving programming learning when applying future learning.

The effects of learning method, learning schedule, and task difficulty on the learning of computer software (학습방법, 학습계획, 과제 난이도가 소프트웨어 학습에 미치는 영향)

  • Quick and accurate learning of diverse electronic products has become an important daily task. In particular, software occupies core status in the control and operation of the products. This research tested the effects of learning method, schedule, and task difficulty in the learning of software. Using 2 (learning method: experiential vs. verbal) ${\times}$ 2 (learning schedule: spaced vs. massed) ${\times}$ 2 (difficulty: easy vs. difficult) between-subjects design, Experiment 1 tested participants' learning of file control using Windows Movie Maker. There was no effect of learning schedule on task completion time, but participants in experiential learning were faster in the completion of evaluation task compared with those in verbal learning condition. Importantly, as task difficulty increases participants in verbal condition showed markedly lower performance than those in experiential condition, which suggests that experiential learning is more effective with more difficult learning task. That is, in case of learning simple operation of software verbal learning using linguistic manual or instruction could be sufficient; on the other hand in case of learning complex operation learning from experience or tutorial mode would be more effective. Additional studies which manipulated task difficulty (Expt. 2) and inter-trial learning interval (Expt. 3) did not produce meaningful results.

The Assessment Guideline of the Simplified Test Maturity Model (TMM) for An Assessor (심사원을 위한 경량화 테스트 성숙도 모델을 위한 평가 가이드 연구)

  • In real software business environment, there are required to validate software quality in diverse usage range of software for many small & medium companies. Software quality means both qualities of production and process. In our situation, we focus on better process quality of a test organization than a whole organization. But even the original test maturity model (TMM) does not enough to apply with our domestic venture/small & medium companies. To solve this problem, we suggest the simplified test maturity model for our companies. We redefine this simplified model with the original TMM and a test process improvement next (TPI next) model. The previous models just have provided each definition of maturity level, goal and activity per each level, which not exists an assessment guideline and a formal assessing procedure. Due to this reasons, an assessor is difficult to assess the test organization without them. this paper suggest an assessment guideline of the simplified TMM and also define the procedure which is included with activities and byproducts. With these assessment guideline, an assessor can work possible to formally assess test organizations of small & medium companies, and with self assessment guideline they can be correctly provision before assessment of their organizations.

Developing Social Play Evaluation Items for Preschool Children: A Delphi Study (학령전기 아동의 사회적 놀이 평가 문항 개발: 델파이 연구)

  • Objective : This study aimed to develop evaluation items based on Parten's social play developmental stages to measure social play in preschool children. Methods : Through a literature review, the investigation items according to Parten's social play developmental stages were collected. Two Delphi surveys were conducted using 22 expert panels. An understanding of the contents of the preliminary items was determined via parents of preschool children. The evaluation method was established through an expert advisory meeting. Results : Through data collection and the Delphi survey, a total of 89 items were drawn, including 12 unoccupied behaviors, 7 onlooker behaviors, 14 solitary play, 16 parallel play, 17 associative play, and 23 cooperative play items. The average content validity ratio of the Delphi survey was 0.85. The stability was 0.15. The consensus was 0.78. The final preliminary evaluation items comprised a total of 40 items, including 17 for associative play and 23 for cooperative play. Conclusion : An evaluation items that can measure social play in preschool children was developed, and its content validity was verified. It is expected to be used as an evaluation tool in clinical practice.

  • 유전자 알고리즘(Genetic Algorithm, GA)은 자연적 진화과정에서 생존 경쟁 측면의 가장 적합한 메커니즘이다. GA를 소프트웨어로 수행하는데 큰 지연시간은 필수적이기 때문에 하드웨어 설계를 이용하여 알고리즘 실행 속도를 증가시키기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 염색체의 임의의 유전인자를 기준으로 입력 받은 염색체에 대하여 GA 연산을 수행하는 유전 연산자를 설계한다. 설계된 디자인을 ARM 코어와 PLD로 구성된 Altera사의 Excalibur칩에 구현하여 동작을 검증하였다.

  • 소프트웨어 산업 사회에서는 현재까지 생산성 향상이라는 문제에 대한 여러 가지 방안들을 제시하고 있으며, 컴포넌트 기반 개발 프로세스 역시 생산성 향상에 대한 않은 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 하지만 현실적으로 컴포넌트간의 호환 및 상호 운용에 대한 않은 문제점들을 내포하고 있으며, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 노력들 중의 하나로 OMG의 MDA(Model Driven Architecture) 기술을 이용하여 특정 도메인의 모델 변환(Model Transformation) 구조를 구현하고, 최적화된 개발 방법론을 적용한 실제 사례를 통하여 컴포넌트의 생산성 향상에 대한 결과를 측정하여 그 효과에 대해서 검증한다

  • 본 논문에서는 근사 계단 제어 변조(Nearest Level Control Modulation)로 동작하는 모듈형 멀티레벨 컨버터(Modular Multi level Converter)에서 충전 회로나 반송파(Carrier)없이 초기 충전(Pre-charging)하는 새로운 방식을 제안하였다. 이의 성능을 검증하기 위해 PSCAD/EMTDC 소프트웨어를 통해 암(Arm)당 12개의 서브모듈(Sub-Module)로 구성된 3상 10kVA 모듈형 멀티레벨 컨버터를 구현 및 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 DC마이크로그리드의 전력품질을 향상시키기 위한 에너지 저장장치의 Power Balancing 제어기법에 대하여 기술하고 있다. 제안하는 시스템의 동작 타당성을 체계적으로 분석하기 위해 PSCAD/EMTDC 소프트웨어를 이용한 마이크로그리드 모델을 개발하였으며 여러 사례 적용에 대한 모의실험을 통해 제어기법의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 현재의 컴퓨터 교육은 정보화 사회에 필수적으로 필요한 문제해결능력을 키우기 위해 정보교과의 대부분을 차지하던 소프트웨어 활용 중심의 내용을 대폭 축소하고 컴퓨터 과학의 원리에 대한 교육을 강화되고 있다. 이러한 문제해결력을 키우기 위하여 개정된 ICT 운영지침의 컴퓨터 과학 원리에 대한 교육 내용 분석을 통한 알고리즘적 사고 문제 모델을 초등 수학과에 접목시켜 다양한 학습 문제해결 실습을 통하여 알고리즘적 사고 신장의 적합성을 검증 하고자 한다.
