  • With the development of the Internet and the spread of mobile devices, the online market is growing rapidly. As the number of customers using online shopping malls explodes, research is being conducted on the analysis of usage behavior from customer data, personalized product recommendations, and service development. Thus, this paper seeks to analyze the overall process of online shopping malls through process mining, and to identify the factors that influence users' purchases. The data used are from a large online shopping mall, and R was the analysis tool. The results show that customer activity was most prominent in categories with event elements, such as unconventional discounts and monthly giveaway events. On the other hand, searches, logins, and campaign activity were found to be less relevant than their importance. Those are very important, because they can provide clues to a customer's information and needs. Therefore, it is necessary to refine the recommendations from related search words, and to manage activity, such as coupons provided when customers log in. In addition to the previous discussion, this paper proposes various business strategies to enhance the competitiveness of online shopping malls and to increase profits.

  • Consumer interest in food nutrition continues to grow; however, research on consumer preferences related to nutrition remains limited. In this study, big data analysis was conducted using keyword logs collected from the national information service, the Korean Food Composition Database (K-FCDB), to determine consumer preferences for foods of nutritional interest. The data collection period was set from January 2020 to December 2022, covering a total of 2,243,168 food name keywords searched by K-FCDB users. Food names were processed by merging them into representative food names. The search frequency of food names was analyzed for the entire period and by season using R. In the frequency analysis for the entire period, steamed rice, chicken, and egg were found to be the most frequently consumed foods by Koreans. Seasonal preference analysis revealed that in the spring and summer, foods without broth and cold dishes were consumed frequently, whereas in fall and winter, foods with broth and warm dishes were more popular. Additionally, foods sold by restaurants as seasonal items, such as Naengmyeon and Kongguksu, also exhibited seasonal variations in frequency. These results provide insights into consumer interest patterns in the nutritional information of commonly consumed foods and are expected to serve as fundamental data for formulating seasonal marketing strategies in the restaurant industry, given their indirect relevance to consumer trends.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and problems of the content of flower design education videos on YouTube and to search for improvement direction. The subjects of analysis were 129 pieces of videos uploaded in the last one year including 'craftman floral design' as a search term. The result shows that contents covered were practical lectures, theory lectures, test related tips, job and character introduction, test work, educational guidance and publicity. The production format could be divided into studio lecture, classroom lecture, video feature, interview, Vlog, and television program. The hub-type programming strategy that periodically uploads the videos satisfying the target audiences' interests is mostly applied. The type of lecture covered 'practical skill test' got a good response from the users. Overall, content diversity, interaction between creators and users, and harmonious programming strategies are lacking. In order to improve this, it is necessary for emotional and expressive creators to pioneer differentiated fields and practice based on actual field. The introduction of interactive elements such as games and quizzes and the application of new media technologies such as VR and AR are worth trying. Three strategic types of 'hero', 'hub', and 'how to' should be applied complementary. As the demand for education content related to flower design is expected to expand in the future, it is required to develop content that can be used in various platforms, foster professional creators, and develop associated business models.

  • In this paper, we discuss the design and implementation of a concurrency control manager for a main memory DBMS(MMDBMS). Since an MMDBMS, unlike a disk-based DBMS, performs all of data update or retrieval operations by accessing main memory only, the portion of the cost for concurrency control in the total cost for a data update or retrieval is fairly high. Thus, the development of an efficient concurrency control manager highly accelerates the performance of the entire system. Our concurrency control manager employs the 2-phase locking protocol, and has the following characteristics. First, it adapts the partition, an allocation unit of main memory, as a locking granule, and thus, effectively adjusts the trade-off between the system concurrency and locking cost through the analysis of applications. Second, it enjoys low locking costs by maintaining the lock information directly in the partition itself. Third, it provides the latch as a mechanism for physical consistency of system data. Our latch supports both of the shared and exclusive modes, and maximizes the CPU utilization by combining the Bakery algorithm and Unix semaphore facility. Fourth, for solving the deadlock problem, it periodically examines whether a system is in a deadlock state using lock waiting information. In addition, we discuss various issues arising in development such as mutual exclusion of a transaction table, mutual exclusion of indexes and system catalogs, and realtime application supports.
