The Study of the Mode Effect between Computer-based and Paper-based Science Tests in TIMSS 2019 (TIMSS 2019 과학 문항에서 컴퓨터 기반 평가와 지필 평가 간의 검사 매체 차이 탐색)

  • This study analyzed the science assessment items that were conducted by the paper and the computer-based assessment in the TIMSS 2019 pre-test, which is an international academic achievement assessment. We examined whether the test mode influenced the percentage of items answered correctly by each graders. As a result, there was no significant difference in the correct answer rates of science items according to the test media in 4th and 8th graders. Looking at the each graders, the difference in the percentage of correct answers was relatively large in the fourth grader rather than the eighth grader. In terms of items, the difference in the percentage of correct answers was relatively larger for the constructed items than the multiple choice questions. As a result of analyzing the content of science and assessment items on the influence of the test media, the multiple choice items showed little difference between the paper and the computer-based assessment items, but the answer-type items tended to have a lower percentage of correct answers than the paper-based assessment. In addition, by grade, 4th graders showed lower percentages of correct answers in the constructed items than 8th graders. This study provides implications related to the development and introduction of computer-based assessment in Korea, and suggests an educational implications for computer-based assessment to be well established as school evaluation.

  • 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어 환경에서 정보 제시 유형이 정보 처리에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 초등학교 아동을 대사으로 하여 텍스트와 나래이션을 제시한 조건, 텍스트와 애니매이션을 제시한 조건, 애니매이션과 나래이션을 제시한 조건에 따라 학습정도가 어떻게 달라지는지를 알아보았다. 학습 수행 평가는 학습자료를 보여주고 즉시 검사하였고, 학습한 후 일주일이 지난 후에 지연검사를 하였다. 그 결과 두 검사 모두에서 애니매이션과 나래이션을 제시한 조건이 다른 두 조건에 비해 효율적인 학습 수행 결과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 아동에게 있어서 단일 매체(텍스트)로 정보를 제시하는 것보다는 다중매체(텍스트, 애니매이션)로 정보를 처리할 수 있도록 제시하는 것이 학습에 효과적임을 보요준다. 또한 이러한 결과는 기존의 이중보호이론과 작용기억이론을 지지해 준다.

Effect of watching movie & animation on anxiety and discomfort of the patients during MRI exam (MRI 검사 환자의 불안 및 불편감에 대한 영화(애니메이션)감상 효과 분석)

  • 본 연구는 MRI 검사를 받은 환자를 대상으로 영상매체(Visual equipment & Audio system)를 이용하여 영상물을 제공함으로서 불안과 불편감에 대한 효과에 대해 규명함으로써 MRI 검사로 인한 심리적, 정신적 불안과 불편 감을 감소시킬 수 있는 대체요법을 제공하기 위하여 본 연구를 시도하였다. 연구대상은 대전광역시에 위치한 K 대학병원에서 MRI 검사를 받은 환자 중 영상물을 제공받은 실험군 30명과 영상물을 제공받지 않은 대조군 30명을 대상하였다. 연구의 도구는 Spielberger의 기질불안 도구와 Cline, Herman, Shaw와 Morton이 고안한 불안점수 도구인 시각적 상사척도(VAS)를 이용하였고, 영상물을 제공하여 두 군 간의 활력징후를 측정하였고 불편감은 대상자의 주관적 불편감(어지러움, 공포감. 긴장감)점수와 객관적 불편감 행동 점수를 사용하였다. 자료 분석 방법은 SPSS12K for Windows program을 이용하였으며, 두 군의 일반적 특성 및 수술에 관련된 특성의 동질성 검증은 $\chi^2$ 검정, 가설검증은 t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약해 보면 영상매체(Visual equipment & Audio system)를 이용하여 영상물(영화, 애니메이션)을 제공하면서 MRI 검사를 진행했을 경우 검사 대상자의 혈압 및 객관적 불편감에서는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했으나 불안과 활력징후의 하나인 맥박의 감소, 또한 주관적 불편감이 감소됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 환자의 심리적인 긴장감을 완화시키며 안정감을 느끼게 하는데 효과적인 대체요법이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료 된다.

The Effects of 'MEETING WITH SCIENTISTS' Program on the Fifth Graders' Physical Images of Scientists ('과학자와의 만남' 프로그램 적용이 초등학생의 과학자에 대한 신체적 이미지에 미치는 효과)

  • This study investigated the effects of the 'Meeting With Scientists' program on children's stereotypical images of scientist. To do those, 36 children of a fifth grade class participated in the program for one month. The program consisted of two main activities:(l) participating in scientists' lectures and exchanging e-mail with them; and (2) visiting web sites about scientist and science, and exchanging e-mail with scientists at the sites. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: First, after participating in the program, children showed the significant decrease of several stereotypical items, such as facial growth of hair(bald hair beard), symbols of research, and age of the scientist. Second, the most popular source of the images was the visual media at the pretest but the source was changed to the visiting and participating scientist's lecture, and internet at the posttest. The latter items appeared a significant difference between the pretest and the posttest, The results indicate that the program is effective to decrease of children's stereotypical physical image of scientist.

  • 영상매체의 발달은 고성능의 정밀한 광학소자의 발전을 요구하게 된다. 이러한 광학소자는 제작의 용이함 때문에 주로 구면소자가 많이 사용되어 왔으나 구면소자만으로 해결하기 어려운 구면수차, 왜곡수차, 비점수차 등의 요인을 극소화하고 광학소자의 소형, 경량화를 위하여 비구면 광학소자의 사용이 필요하게 되었으며 비구면 가공기술의 발전과 더불어 그 사용이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 비구면광학소자는 제작과정의 어려움과 더불어 품질평가의 어려움이 있다. 특히 급속한 기울기를 가진 면의 측정은 3차원측정기에 의한 방법이나 간섭계를 사용한 단순한 null optics 검사로는 정확도와 실험의 한계가 있다. 비구면 광학소자의 평가방법으로는 간섭계를 사용하여 기준파면과 대상파면을 비교하는 일반적인 null testing과 최근에는 CGH(computer generated hologram)로 재생된 비구면파면과 대상파면을 비교하는 방법도 많이 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 일반적인 검사방법으로는 검사가 어려운 급속한 기울기를 가진 포물면(parabolic surface)에 대한 하나의 검사방법을 제시하고자 한다. 지역탐방-에이즈 상담실에 비친 한국사회의 성문화

  • 우리 협회는 지난 2005년부터 에이즈 대표전화 1588-5448 및 홈페이지 게시판 상담 매체를 통해 전국 11개 상담실에서 에이즈 전문 상담을 실시해 오고 있다. 아울러 에이즈 익명검사실(서울, 대구, 광주, 창원)을 통해 즉석에서 결과를 확인할 수 있는 에이즈 검사 상담을 시범 운영하고 있다. 그동안 전화(47,000), 온라인(30,000), 검진상담(3,500)을 통해 총 80,500여건의 상담이 이루어졌다. 여기서는 지난 1년간 협회가 실시한 25,000여 건에 대한 상담 항목별로 세부 분석 자료를 통해 에이즈 감염이 우려되는 '안전하지 않은 성행동'이 우리 성문화 속에 만연해 있음을 살펴보고자 한다.

A Study on the Effect of Book-Trailers As a After Reading Activity (독후활동으로써 북트레일러의 효과 연구)

  • This research aims at executing a after reading activity using book trailers for the teenagers, and verifying its effects. For the investigation into its effectiveness, 6 classes on the first grade in a middle school were divided into 3 classes of an experimental group (104 students) and the other 3 classes of a comparative group (100 students), and a preliminary and a post test were conducted using the measurement tool on creativity and reading attitudes. As the result, the creativity, reading attitudes and understanding of the selected books of the experimental group were found to be better than those of the comparative group.

Analysis on Stage of Concern of Practical Training Teachers About the Instructional media during the Child Care Practice (실습교사의 교수매체에 대한 관심도 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the case in which we can identify how the SoC of Practical training teachers about the instructional media changes and why these change appears during the child care practice when we assumpt that for Practical training teachers to use the instructional media is that they participate in change during child care practice. In case A, the SoC moves from Stage 0 to Stage 1, Stage 6. In case B, the SoC moves from Stage 0 to Stage 2. In case C and D, the SoC of the Practical Training Teachers are not changed. Above this, we identify the SoC of Practical training teachers. Case A and B change the SoC, but Case C and D does not change the SoC after child care practice. We identify that the reason why there are differences is that according to (1) the training of the perception of practical training teachers, curriculum, knowledge related to instructional media before child care practice, and (2) time, the SoC of practical training teachers about instructional media is changed. In the end, we make a suggestion for the following research. First, a comparative study will be made of other students of the department for child care in the same college or other college. Second, we need to make a study for analyzing SoC profile after supporting instructional assistances.

Uses of Science Fiction Movie Education Materials for the Middle School Female Students to Enhance Their Interests in Science (여학생의 과학에 대한 관심 고취를 위한 공상과학영화 교육매체의 활용)

  • These days effective science education programs are required for girls to encourage them to pursue their career in science and engineering areas. This paper presents the preliminary results of an analysis performed to measure the effectiveness of a middle school education program, in which a science fiction movie as a multimedia educational material is shown to students and afterward discussion and review process for the scientific subjects included in the movie are given to them. The analysis is based on a study of students' responses on surveys performed after showing the science fiction movies during a science camp and a regular school class. The survey results of female students are compared with those of male students. The results indicate that the education program using science fiction movies could be more effective to female students than to male students in motivating and enhancing their interest in scientific subjects. A preliminary guide and afterward review and discussion on the scientific contents dealt in the movie turned out to be helpful to enhance the effectiveness of this science education program.

  • With the advent of digital age, we've come to have an affinity with multimedia, in our daily lives, which has the most visual images. Everyday, more than 90 percent of people watch television, and most of them spend their time watching television and use internet for their leisure time activity. Multimedia change and diversify rapidly and have powerful potential. However, it is true that there is a considerable limit in the use of and application for their function. In this study, I've aimed at supporting the potential of therapeutic function which visual images have as the most powerful brain-stimulating-media. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, I've placed chroma therapy in the element of video production. Thus, I've produced functional videos which shall be the backbone of video therapy. For EEG and psychology test, 1 chose 25 employees as sample group, and testified the potential of it.
