경상남도 교육청에서는 지체부자유아와 정서장애와의 사회적응 훈련 및 특수교육에 이바지할 수 있는 교육시설확충과 여건조성을 위한 교육시설로서 유치부, 초등부, 중등부, 고등부가 함께 설치될 경남공립특수학교 현상공모를 실시하였다. 경남 창원시 명서동에 건립될 이번 특수학교 현상공모에는 총 7개 사무소가 작품을 응모하여 그중 예전종합건축(안)이 당선작으로 선정되었다. 본 당선작은 경사대지를 건축물과 유기적으로 결합시켜 동선의 원활한 처리와 토목공사량을 극소화시켜 공사비를 절감시켰고, 특수학교의 특성을 잘 반영시켰다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

The objective of this study was to analyze the effects on management performance of architectural design offices, created by requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including design quality improvement, introduction of management tools to improve architectural office internal management environment, international standardization and open market impacts. This study conducted a questionnaire survey of architectural design offices in Seoul which holding ISO 9001 Quality System Certification. Following analysis using SPSS10, the result of this study is as follow; (1) The requirements of a quality management system influenced performance of resource management, production realization and customer satisfaction. The measurement analysis and improvements show the effect on design group member satisfaction. Also, production realization, resource management and manager responsibility have an effect on improving quality, and measurement analysis and improvement have an effect on economic performance. (2) The requirements of the Quality Management System were shown to influence the group members satisfaction most, but showed a low influence on economic success. (4) The design group member's opinion about the ISO Quality Management System was very positive and had the effect of improving motivation. The system and the result after acquisition was proven to be very positive in architectural design offices.

전남 고흥의 소록도는 그 섬의 아름다움보다, 한센병 환자들의 집단 거주지로서 더 유명하다. 1916년부터 이곳은 국내 한센병 환자들의 역사와 함께하였기 때문이다. 따라서, 그들에 대한 오해와 편견, 그리고 관심의 흔적들이 이 섬에는 그대로 남아있다. 2001년 11월 자원봉사자들의 숙식과 교육을 위한 센터가 완공되었으며, 무영건축은 설계와 감리를 담당하였다. 대규모 설계사무소에서는 좀처럼 진행하기 힘든 외딴 섬에 위치한 연면적 1,300㎡의 작은 건물이었지만, 자원봉사자들을 위한 건물을 만드는 일은 한센병 환자들에게 봉사하는 건축가의 사회적 역할이었다. 건축가의 작업은 마쳤으나 이제는 그들에 대한 이해와 관심을 모으는 일이 남아있으며, 이 글을 통하여 한센병과 소록도에 대한 이해를 도모하고 자원봉사센터의 건립과정을 소개하고자 한다.

In the construction industry, due to the nature of the job, the need for job training to maximize the performance of the job and to improve the organization's qualifications is needed to acquire professional knowledge that is practiced according to the training needs of the members of the organization. In the form of education, the government or the government or the government provides systematic and planned professional job training that is implemented to improve qualifications and instill pride in the profession by helping the employees of the design office acquire new knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for professional performance. Although it is recommended at the organizational level, as a result of examining the implementation, it was found that most workers did not receive job training activities. Therefore, follow-up studies that can maximize work efficiency at the individual and organizational level of design office workers should be continuously performed.

코로나19 이후 건축사업계 비대면 작업 등의 필요성이 대두되면서, 스마트건설 플랫폼 기술인 BIM(Building Information Modeling, 건설정보모델링) 활성화에 관한 목소리도 높아지고 있다. 최근 한국건설기술연구원에서는 공공분야 BIM 기술의 성숙도를 4단계(레벨1~4)로 봤을 때, 우리나라의 평가치는 '레벨1' 초보 수준에 머물러 있다는 진단을 냈다. 이미 '레벨3' 수준에 진입한 영국 등 선진국보다 뒤처져 있다는 분석인데, 이는 2D 환경을 기반으로 설계 또는 시공업무에 대해 제한적으로 BIM을 적용하면서, 일정 규모 이상의 설계BIM만 의무화한 수준이기 때문이다. BIM 트렌드가 '기술개발'에서 '활용' 단계로 넘어가는 과정 가운데 건축분야에서의 활성화 방안은 무엇일까. 월간 '건축사'가 'WBIM(주.더블유빔)'사(社)의 이재환 대표를 만나 BIM의 현장 활용성, 그리고 적용 측면에서의 현실문제 등에 대한 현장 이야기를 들어봤다. 각종 개발사업과 설계파트를 지원하며 BIM전문가로 활동해 온 이재환 대표는 "기획단계부터 BIM을 활용하면 사업 진행 전 과정에서 실시간 검증이 가능하고 동시에 각종 아이디어를 효과적으로 적용할 수 있다"면서도 "활용성을 확보하려면 업계뿐 아니라 발주처, 감독 등도 BIM에 대한 이해도를 높여야 한다"고 말했다.

건축구조물의 삼차원 거동을 해석하기 위한 S3D는 한국과학기술원 이동근 교수에 의하여 개발되었으며 소프트웨어센터를 통하여 보급되고 있다. 보와 기둥 및 전단벽 등으로 구성된 건축구조물의 삼차원 거동을 효율적으로 해석하기 위하여 S3D에는 여러가지의 특수한 기법이 사용되고 있으며 개인용 전자계산기를 사용하여 사무소건물, 아파트 호텔, 병원 및 학교건물 등과 같이 규칙적인 형태를 대형 건축 구조물에 대한 삼차원 거동을 짧은 시간내에 해석 할 수 있도록 개발되었다. 우리나라의 내진설계 기준에 의한 지진하중 산정 및 층간변위, 우발비틀림 모멘트 등이 손쉽게 계산될 수 있으며 풍하중 등의 횡력에 대한 해석도 가능하다.

Architectural design works are proceeded by the collaboration of experts working in many fields, but the traditional method of collaboration, so to speak offline collaboration, has limitation on time and space. The meeting agenda is not well organized in the meeting. Often there are so many items to discuss, that some get left out, and remain unaddressed. The knowledge relying on people's memory is not always accurate. To solve the above problems, we would like to suggest web-based collaboration system in architectural design and provide contents which are called checklists and knowledge database for collaboration.

지난 7월 13일 넥서스 플래그십 서울 갤러리 옥상 라운지에서 월간 건축사지가 마련한 좌담회가 열렸다. 주제는 '대중매체를 이용한 건축사사무소 마케팅 전략'. 임형남 건축사, 김창균 건축사, 홍만식 건축사, 그리고 본지 편집국장인 홍성용 건축사와 최연송 KBS 기자가 참석한 가운데 건축사라는 직업에 대한 대중의 인식 환기와 제고, 이를 위한 방법에 대한 논의가 이뤄졌다. 건축을 하는 것은 건축사뿐 아니라 건축주에게도 즐거운 일이다. 건축이 사람들의 삶을 고스란히 담아내기 때문. 건축을 문화로 다루어야 하는 이유다. 하지만 건축이 어떤 과정을 통해 이뤄지는지, 건축사가 어떠한 역할을 하는지 잘 모르는 사람들이 많은 것이 현실이다. 마케팅을 통해 이를 알리는 것 또한 건축사의 역할이자, 미래를 위한 첫걸음이라 볼 수 있다. 패널들은 각종 매체를 통해 건축사가 조명되며 주거에 대한 사람들의 인식이 조금씩 변하고 있는 현실을 긍정적으로 평가하면서, ▲전문직업인으로서 건축사의 역할 ▲사람의 삶을 담는 건축 설계의 중요성과 필요성 ▲건축 과정에서 비롯되는 즐거움 등을 어떻게 효과적으로 알릴 수 있을지에 대한 이야기를 나눴다.

Today, companies exist amid unlimited competition and uncertain adminstration environment, so hands-on workers are being exposed to various job requirements and stress due to this. Especially, employees in the design firm are physically difficult because of heavy working intensity unlike other industrial field, and because the process is interrelated unlike working of a five-day workday of the other industry, it is difficult to guarantee periodic holidays and vacation. In addition, recently, while BIM is introduced in the construction industry, various changes in the individual role as well as organizational dimension such as business environment and scope & role, etc. are required, so it is the actual situation that the category and factors of job stress due to this are being also changed. Accordingly, this research has grasped important and weak sectors according to characteristics such as career, position, gender, education and existence/nonexistence of BIM template, etc. by confirming a job stress level and inducing factors of hands-on workers at the design firm. This research has a meaning in constructing a business environment of a design firm that is a main participant of BIM-based projects that are expected to have high utilization in the future.
