CAD시스템을 도입하여 활용하고 있는 필자의 경험을 토대로 하여 현재 CAD시스템의 도입을 검토하고 있거나 혹은 관심을 가지고 있는 설계사무실의 입장에 서서 결코 만만치 않은 가격의 CAD시스템을 어떻게 이해하고 활용할 것인가 하는 것을 중점적으로 고찰하였다. 지면사정상 깊이있는 이론적 설명은 배제하고 사무실에서 부딪히는 현실적인 문제를 위주로 기술하였으므로 경영하자 CAD책임자에게 특히 도움이 될 수 있었으면 한다.

In the case of precise safety inspection and precise safety diagnosis of a building, a condition evaluation must be conducted to determine the safety grade. Since 2004, an evaluation method using fuzzy theory has been introduced for quantitative condition evaluation,and the relationship and importance of reinforced concrete members using fuzzy theory have been applied. Generally, fuzzy theory is a method used to deal with ambiguous expressions with unclear correlations, but at the time of development, it seems that it was developed by applying fuzzy theory as an alternative in a situation where inspection and diagnosis result data were insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the relationship and importance of evaluation items derived based on the current fuzzy theory using actual inspection and diagnosis result data.In this study, the correlation between the evaluation items was derived by using the results of 19 precision safety inspections and 9 precision safety inspections and the performance score function formula, and using this, a reasonable durability score calculation formula of the member was presented.

This study will perform the theoretical study of totally dependent elderly facilities- nursing homes, through the characteristics about nursing units and rehabilitative spaces. It will be started from the perception that the highest priority is to derive the ideal design guidelines on nursing units and rehabilitative spaces of nursing homes in Korea. This study aims to represent architectural idea and the examination of typological differences of nursing units and rehabilitative spaces among nursing home plans.

The purpose of this study is to define the problems associated with ambulatory care facilities, to classify the types of ambulatory care facilities, to examine significant architectural case studies, and to point the way toward enhanced architectural solutions for healthier ambulatory health care service environments for the patients. The case study will provide a brief introduction to the selected cases and examine planning concepts and design factors.

건축 기획단계는 프로젝트 전반에 걸친 주요한 의사결정이 일어나는 부분으로 그 영향력에 비해 프로젝트 정보를 수집, 처리, 저장하여 관련 참여자가 정보를 재사용하거나 참고하여 새로운 의사결정을 수행하는 것이 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 BIM을 활용하여 기획단계에서 발생한 정보들이 설계, 시공, 유지관리 단계에 이르기까지 전생애주기에 걸쳐 정보를 통합 관리할 수 있도록 BIM기반의 건축 기획단계 지원 시스템을 개발하고자한다. 선행연구 분석과 이론적 고찰을 통해 건축 기획단계를 정의하고 건축기획 BIM의 개념과 특징을 도출하였다. 이를 토대로 기획단계 BIM프로세스를 정립하여 BIM을 기반으로 건축 기획단계를 지원하는 프로토타입 시스템 VA-Cityplanner를 개발하였다.

Building industry clients are suggested to clarify requirements and needs properly at the pre-project stage. According to these they can develop options to meet their needs with considering their resources and business case. At this stage, they make decisions while professionals in the industry are not involving. This process is called client briefing at the pre-project stage. However, client briefing is not a discrete process only conducted at this stage; various clients briefings should be performed over a project lift cycle. The client briefing at the pre-project stage is more important than others as the value for the clients is clarified at this stage - they may not be satisfied for the project results even when the project is finished on time within budget if the value itself is incorrectly defined. Given that the client briefing is important as stated, this paper aims to review theory on client briefing focusing those at the pre-project stage. As a part of research, a prototype workshop for client briefing is held and findings from it are summarized. Finally, suggestions for conducting client briefing in Korea are presented in terms of directions of relevant research, systems in the industry and points that clients or client briefing consultants should consider.

대통령 소속 국가건축정책위원회, 건축정책기본계획, 건축도시공간연구소, 공공건축가. 지금 우리 건축계를 정의하는 중요한 개념들이다. 이 모두 2007년 제정된 건축기본법에 근거한 내용으로서 당시 건설기술 건축문화선진화위원회, 건설교통부, 문화관광부의 '건축문화 선진화전략' 핵심과제였다. 그러나 '건축기본법'이 있어야 한다고 처음 주장한 사람은 김광현 서울대학교 건축학과 명예교수였다. 그가 연구책임자로서 건축기본법의 바탕을 만들었으며, 오늘의 건축계를 정의하는 건축기본법의 틀과 개념 그리고 용어의 설정도 거의 그의 구상에서 나왔다. 대한건축사협회(한명수 명예회장)와 건설기술 건축문화선진화위원회(김진애 위원장)가 이 법 제정을 위해 큰 힘을 기울였다면, 그는 이론적 기틀을 확립한 인물이다. 그는 학계에 있었지만 설계대가 제값 받기에 유독 관심이 많았다. 이유는 학생들이 사회에 나가 전문가로서 좋은 일을 할 수 있는 최대의 근거는 제대로 된 설계대가에 있다는 그의 지론 때문이었다. "학생들을 가르치는 최고의 목표는 그들이 사회에 나가 좋은 대접을 받게 하는 겁니다. 건축계에서 해야 할 가장 중요한 게 뭐냐고 지금 또 묻는다면 단언컨대 나는 제대로 된 '설계대가'라고 말할 겁니다." 김광현 명예교수는 과거 '공공발주사업에 대한 건축사의 업무범위와 대가기준'에서 '친환경건축물, 에너지효율등급' 등 추가업무에 대한 대가를 제대로 받을 수 있게 하자고 주장하고 이를 연구한 책임자이기도 했다. 그는 지금 젊은 건축사 건축교육 저변확대를 위한 '공동건축학교'를 설립해 활발히 운영 중이다. 월간 "건축사"가 국내 건축계 발전을 위해 힘써오다가 작년 2월 정년퇴임한 김광현 서울대학교 건축학과 명예교수를 3월 18일 그의 대학로 연구실에서 만났다. 그는 지난날을 회고하며 건축에 얽힌 이야기와 현재 하고 있는 일, 그리고 구상 중인 향후계획까지 다양한 이야기를 전했다.

Louis I. Kahn is cleary one of 20th century great architects. The character of his philosophy of architecture can be condensed as simple words; Architectural Essence, because the very nature of his work based on historicity is so fundamental. Some contemporary architects and architectural critics regard it as a symbol of Post-Modern Architecture era expressing relative multiplicity or an expression of Heideggerian existentialism, but others do as the attribute of fundamentalist like absolute Plato's Idea. Comparing the former, studies of the latter theme have been executed superficially and somewhat biasedly for last decades. In the context, this paper attempt to reanalyze Kahn's idea of 'Architectural Essence' with the deep view of Platonist focused on the concept of binary opposition and causality.
