A numerical study on the performance of a heat pump assisted dryer (열펌프 건조기의 성능에 관한 수치해석)

  • This study carried out a numerical analysis on a heat pump assisted dryer using HFC134a. Under the constant degree of superheat and that of subcooling, we analyzed the performance of heat pump assisted dryer with varying an air mass velocity, bypass air ratio, compressor speed and an inlet bulb temperature of dryer. Simulation results were compared with experimental results, so they were maximally agreed in the range of 10%. There was the proper bypass air ratio with varying an air mass velocity. As for the effect of SMER having the inlet temperature $35^{\circ}C$ and compressor speed 1360rpm, bypass air ratio was 30% at the front velocity 0.5kg/s, 40% at the front velocity 0.7kg/s and 50% at the front velocity 0.9kg/s and 1.1kg/s. As the compressor speed was increased, SMER decreased and COP increased. As the inlet bulb temperature was increased, SMER and COP decreased.

  • Recently, instead of hot air type dryers that require a lot of heat, energy-efficient heat pump dryers have been used in various fields such as paper, textile, wood, food, etc. In this paper, the characteristics of heat pump cycle were theoretically evaluated with hot-gas bypass system to further improve the energy efficiency by minimizing the use of electric heaters in early warm-up stage of the dryers for frozen agricultural products. In addition, damper system that leads outside air to flow into the dryer were optimized to obtain extra heat for higher energy efficiency.

  • In this study, series of tests were performed for drying shrinkage characteristics of concrete with power type shrinkage reducing agent (SRA) and fly ash as a part of research to reduce drying shrinkage of concrete. Firstly, for the mechanical properties, a target strength was acquired securely. In the unrestraint shrinkage tests, the SRA decreased the drying shrinkage about $200{\mu}{\varepsilon}$. Lastly, in the ring tests, due to the tensile creep effect, the concrete with SRA showed the cracking times as much again as the concrete with ordinary Portland cement only did.

  • It is necessary to maximize the durability of Concrete for the underground structure because its maintenance and reinforcement are difficult. For cracks due to drying shrinkage of the concrete on the characteristics of the material, there is a need for an alternative in the deterioration phenomenon that occurs. In this study, fundamental properties including drying shrinkage of mortar and concrete were investigated to replace fine aggregate from cooling slag for reducing drying shrinkage of mortar and concrete. In the case of rapid cooling slag fine aggregate, it was effective to reduce and restrain initial shrinkage of mortar and concrete, and compressive strength was increased through the all specimen in proportion to its replacement ratio.

고농도 도공과 저농도 도공에서의 라텍스 입자경에 따른 건조조건 변화별 인쇄적성 상관성 연구

  • 일반적으로 종이 도공의 바인더로 사용되는 라텍스는 입자경이 작을수록 도공층이 부동화 되기 전에 도공층 내에서 원지 혹은 도공층 표면으로의 이동 특성이 강해져서 최종 도공지의 인쇄적성에 다양한 품질의 변화를 보일 수 있다. 라텍스는 원지와 접촉하는 순간부터 원지의 특성에 따라 원지 방향으로 1차 마이그레이션이 일어나고 건조공정의 건조조건(IR-Infra Red 혹은 Hot Air Dryer)에 따라 도공층 표면으로의 2차 마이그레이션이 일어나며 이로 인해 도공층 내에서 Z-방향으로 바인더 분포가 불균일하게 분포하게 됨으로서 인쇄 모틀 현상에도 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 도공액의 농도와 라텍스의 입자경 그리고 건조조건에 따른 도공층의 구조변화가 최종인쇄적성에 미치는 상관성을 검토하였다.

Conservation of Dry Lacquer Wares Excavated from Daho-ri, Changwon (다호리 출토 건조상태 칠기의 보존)

  • Excavated lacquer wares can be divided into waterlogged lacquer wares supersatuated with moisture and dry lacquer wares with little moisture. This conservation was done with dry damaged lacquer wares excavated from Daho-ri. Lacquer ware artifacts with lacquer fragments and no surface material remaining were processed using the three following methods. The three methods are reinforcing while sustaining three-dimensional form; reinforcing with earth after cleansing so that fragments are revealed due to weak lacquer fragments; and reinforcing the whole lacquer ware or parts by connecting and supporting missing parts with rayon paper, an artificial fiber paper, if the form cannot be sustained only with lacquer fragments.

  • This study was designed to compare the quality characteristics of freeze and spray dried red ginseng extract powders(RGEPs) by drying methods, which have been required to maintain the stability for the quality. Chemical compositions, major ginsenoside contents and color intensities of these Products were compared by drying conditions. The moisture absorption rates and optical densities also were compared during storage under maltreatment conditions of a various relative humidities (75, 86and 92 RH) and two different temperatures (37 and $50^{\circ}C$). It was found that decreases of total major ginsenosides contents in freeze and spray dried RGEPs were 5.4 % to 6.7 % during storage for 6 months at $37^{\circ}C$, 75 % RH. When these products packaged with inner seal of Al-foil laminate paper (Al-foil; 9 ${\mu}m$) were stored for 6 months at $37^{\circ}C$, 75 % RH. the moisture absorption rates of freeze and spray dried RGEPs were ranged 42 % to 82 %, 8 % to 16 %, respectively. In storage for 6 months at $37^{\circ}C$, 86 % RH, spray dried RGEP was higher in brown pigment($400{\sim}490nm$) than freeze dried RGEP while freeze dried was higher in pyrazine (278 nm), HMF and furfural (285 nm) than spray dried RGEP. It was found that RGEPs showed a strong anti-oxidative activity by electron donating ability to DPPPH, but there was no significant difference between freeze and spray dried RGEPs.

  • 일반적으로 PEM 연료전지에서는 수분 균형이 시스템의 효율에 결정적으로 영향을 미치기 때문에, 이에 대한 균형(balance)을 잡는 것이 매우 중요하다. 특히, 촉매 층에서 물이 넘치는 익수현상(flooding)이나 건조현상(drying)이 발생하게 되면 연료전지의 효율이 급격하게 저하하므로, 항상 수분의 균형이 잡히도록 시스템을 제어하는 것이 일반적이다. 이 때,수분의 익수현상이나 건조현상은 PEM 연료전지의 용량과 주위의 환경, 즉 온도와 습도에 많은 영향을 받게 된다. 금번 논문에서는 가정용 규모인 3kW급에서 10kW급까지의 PEM 연료전지를 설치하였을 때, 주위의 환경(온도와 습도)이 수분 이동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 시간에 따라서 시뮬레이션(simulation)한 결과를 보여주고 있다. 결과에서 유입공기의 온도가 $50^{\circ}C$ 이하일 경우, 고정부하가 5kW급 이하이면 대부분이 건조현상이 발생하였으나, 고정부하가 6kW급 이상이 되면 익수현상이 운전시간이 20분 이내에서 발생하였다. 또한 고정부하를 최고 10kW급까지 올린 경우, 유입공기의 온도가 $50^{\circ}C$까지는 익수현상이 발생하였으나 $60^{\circ}C$ 이상인 경우에는 거의 건조현상이 발생함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the two factors and the influence of Chinese cultural orientation on the change of physical dry environment in the domestic Chinese residential area. To this end, Hofsted's cultural dimension theory, which can quantitatively define and compare the national culture, is used to investigate the cultural orientation of China. The association was analyzed. Through this study, it was confirmed that the collectivist and uncertainty-avoidance tendency of the Chinese influenced the formation and change of the dry environment of the Chinese residential area in Daelim 2-dong. This study is meaningful in confirming that the cultural orientation of the migrant community affects the formation and change of collective residences, and through this, it can be used as basic data in preparing policies suitable for various migrant communities including Chinatown.

Analysis on the Forest Community of Daewon Vally in Mt. Chiri by the Classification and Ordination Techniques (Classification 및 Ordination 방법에 의한 지리산 대원계곡의 삼림군집구조 분석)

  • To investigate the structure of the plant community of Daewon valley forest in Mt. Chiri, eighty-nine plots were set up by the dumped sampling method. The classification by TWINSPAN and DCA ordination were applied to the study area in order to classify item into several groups based on woody plants and environmental variables. The classification had been successfully overlayed on an ordination of the same data using DCA. The plots can be classified into five groups by TWINSPAN and DCA. There are Pinus densiflora community. Quercus variabilis-Q. serrata community. Carpinus laxiflora community. Q. monogolica community and Cornus controversa-Q. mongolica community. The successional trends of tree species by both techniques seem to be from P. densiflora through Q. variabilis, Q. serrata to C. laxiflora on the low altitude and from Q. mongolica to C. controversa on the high altitude in the canopy layer. As a result of the analysis for the relationship between the stand scores of DCA and environmental variables. they had a tendancy to increase significantly from the P. densiflora community to C. laxiflora community that was soil moisture. the amount of soil humus and soil nutrients.
