우리나라 中小 造船業의 世界化

  • 우리나라 조선업을 40,000 TDW(Handy-max size)를 기준 해서 대형 조선소와 중소 조선소로 분류해도 무리가 없을 것으로 생각됩니다. 그런데 중소 조선소는 10,000 TDW급 이하의 선박을 주로 건조하고 있으므로 40,000 TDW-10,000 TDW(Hand-size)사이는 거의 공백 상태라고 해도 무방할 것입니다. 우리나라 조선업은 건조선박크기로 볼 때 대형과 소형사이에 중형이 거의 없습니다. 중소 조선소들은 그 숫자가 많기는 하나, Hand-size 이하의 소형선을 건조해 왔고, 그 시장도 극동해역을 거의 벗어나지 못해 왔으므로 중소 조선업이 "세계화"되었다고 말하기에는 다소 미흡한 점이 많아 보입니다. 필자는 우리나라 중소 조선업의 "세계화"가 가능할 수 있다고 믿는 사람중의 하나입니다. 그래서, 먼저 몇가지 소견을 밝힘으로서 여러 회원들 중 뜻을 같이 하고저 하는 분들을 이 가능성에로 초대하고 싶습니다. 이 글은 커다란 잠재력 개발을 향한 첫걸음에 불과한 것이고, 여러 회원들의 동참에 의해 지속적으로 개발돼 나갈 수 있을 것이다.적으로 개발돼 나갈 수 있을 것이다.

The Effect of addition of kinds of sugar and drying method on Quality and Storage Characteristics of Beef jerky (첨가당과 건조방법이 육포의 품질과 저장성에 미치는 영향)

  • To investigate the effect of sugar and drying method on quality and storage characteristics of beef jerky, storage, textural and sensory characteristics were examined. Water activity was decreased as storage time was prolonged and the honey and rice syrup-added natural dried samples(N-H, N-R) were recorded the lowest value, 0.71 at five weeks of storage. During the storage period, pH values of all the samples were decreased and honey-added and heated air dried beef jerky(H-H) had the lowest pH value, 5.22. L, a, b values had a tendency to decrease, during the storage period. During the storage period, TBA values of all samples showed increasing tendency. Sugarsyrup-added samples(N-S, H-S, S-S$\^$*/) had the lowest TBA value, and those of honey-added samples(N-H, H-H, S-H$\^$**/) were highest, regardless of drying method. Total plate counts of bacteria and the number of lactic acid bacteria were increased as storage time was prolonged. Sugar syrup-added and heated air dried beef jerky(H-S) had the lowest in total plate counts of bacteria and the number of lactic acid bacteria, at five weeks of storage. Textural properties value of all samples were increased as storage time was longer. Honey-added samples showed the higest springness and cohesiveness value and sugarsyrup-added and natural dried sample showed the highest value in chewiness, gummness and hardness. In the almost sensory score of natural dried beef jerky was decreased asstorage time was prolonged, regardless of packaging method. Experimental Study of the Oven Dried Soil Weight Measurement Using Singularity Analysis (특이점 분석에 의한 노건조된 흙의 건조무게 측정에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The dry unit weight of the soil can be obtained by measuring the weight of the oven dried soil. According to the Korean Industrial Standards (KS F), oven dried soil at 110±5℃ continuously increases in weight when exposed to air. However, there is no regulation on the weight measurement time of oven dried soil, making it difficult to accurately measure the dry weight. In this study, a method to easily determine the dry weight was presented through the analysis of the weight singularity that appears during weight measurement. The weight singularity represents the smallest value among the measured weights, and is the weight at which the effect of moisture absorption in the air of the sample is minimized. In the course of the experiment, a container was selected using a statistical analysis method, and a photograph of the soil samples were presented using an optical microscope. In addition, the temperature of the weight singularity was measured using a non-contact infrared thermometer. As a result of analyzing the weight singularity of six types of soil, including Jumunjin sand, Naeseong stream sand, Yecheon weathered granite soil, Jeju sand, Sabkha sand, and Ulleung sand, the weight singularity of oven dried sample appeared between 8 and 27 seconds after weight measurement, and the temperature ranged from 103.4 to 108.13℃. The weight decrease rate of the singularity was 0.0066 to 0.0085% depending on the soil samples.

A Study on the Optical Properties by Material of Soft Contact Lens (소프트콘택트렌즈의 재료에 따른 광학적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: Transmittance at UV-visible spectra range was measured to confirm the effect of wet/dry state of commercially available SCL on human eyes. Method: Commercially available five SCLs fabricated by different materials were selected to measure optical properties according to humidity. Results: A relatively high transmittance above about 80% in the visible spectra range of the SCLs were observed. In the UV spectra range, the wet samples showed higher transmittance than those dried except an unusual case. Conclusions: All the samples having a high optical properties in the visible spectra range exhibit a high transmittance in the UV region. Further research will be needed to develop new materials having a sharp absorption edge in the UV spectra range.

  • In this research, the performance of surface covering technique using a white-colored bubble sheet on reducing the cracking due to the plastic, and drying shrinkages for high rise building construction were evaluated by comparing the exposed surface without any surface treatment. From the results of the experiment conducted during fall season, desired results of decreased numbers, length, maximum width, and area of cracking were obtained without a significant difference on heat of hydration and cumulative temperature. Therefore, it is considered that the surface covering technique using bubble sheet is an appropriate method for preventing plastic and drying shrinkage cracking at fall season concrete construction.

  • Six soybean cultivars were used to study their seed development and germinability after flowering, in 1977 and 1978. The earlier varieties showed the faster seed development, but indeterminate types resulted in slower development. The earliest germinability was found in 15 to 25 days after flowering when dried with the pod shell. The germination of the seeds dried without pod shell, however, was inhibited significantly in early seed filling stages. Regular germinability of the Hill cultivar in a cold test was 40-45 days after flowering, or 10 to 15 days earlier than the physiological maturity.

Optimization of Drying and Storage System for Paddy Using the Grain Cooler (곡물냉각기를 이용한 벼 건조 및 저장시스템의 최적화)

  • This study was conducted to develop an optimization model using Box's Complex Algorithm, and to determine optimum operating conditions to minimize costs for the drying and storage system using the grain cooler. To minimize the system operation cost, the optimum moisture contents after the first drying were found to be from 17.2 to 19.8 %. And optimum drying and cooling capacities were obtained. The combination of the dryer and grain cooler was found to be economical, showing enhancement of the drying capacity over 50%, and decrease of drying cost over 10%. When the circulating grain dryers of 6 and 20 ton/batch were used in conjunction with the grain cooler, the cost required for drying and storage system for paddy were 28,464∼33,317won/ton and 20,588∼26,511 won/ton, respectively, which was from 2.6 to 27.3% lower than that of conventional drying and storage system.

  • 지구 온난화에 따라 이산화탄소를 비롯한 온실가스의 감축은 세계적인 관심사이며 모든 산업 분야의 1차 목표가 되고 있다. IEA는 시스템의 고효율화 기술이 2035년까지 목표 감축량의 50% 이상을 달성할 수 있는 기술로 판단하고 있다. 건조기는 대부분의 산업 분야에서 사용되는 필수기계이고 에너지 다소비 기기이므로 건조기의 에너지 효율을 향상시키는 것을 온실가스 감축에 있어서 중요한 부분이라 할 수 있다. 열펌프 건조기는 건조기 중에서도 가장 높은 효율을 달성할 수 있는 장치로서 산업 분야에 활용된다면 큰 역할을 담당할 것으로판단된다. 특히 산업의 많은 분야에 활용되기 위해서는 고온용 열펌프 건조기의 개발이 매우 중요하다. 최근에 국내외에서 고온용 열펌프에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있고, 개발이 일부 진행되었으나 많은 산업분야에 적용 가능하도록 기술을 성숙시키려면 지속적인 연구개발이 필요하다.

  • 건조는 열풍, 스팀 및 전자기파 등의 직접 또는 간접적인 에너지를 투입하여 최종 제품, 가공, 후처리 과정에서 수분을 제거하는 필수 단위공정으로서 화공, 섬유, 식품, 제지·목재, 금속부품 및 폐기물 등에 이르기까지 모든 산업의 생산과정에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 건조공정은 국내 총에너지소비량의 1.2%('95년기준 1,413천TOE), 산업부문 에너지소비량의 2.2%를 소비하는 에너지다소비 장치의 하나이다. 실제론 산업분야 건조설비 사용업체의 에너지사용 비중 중에서 건조공정의 에너지사용 비중이 30%를 초과하고 있으나, 대부분의 건조공정의 에너지 이용효율이 50%이하로서 매우 낮은 실정이다.(중략)

Theoretical Prediction for Drying Shrinkage of Concrete (콘크리트 건조수축이 이론적 예측에 관한 연구)

  • 콘크리트내의 물의 흐름의 양과 방향을 결정하는 수리에너지의 분포는 그양의 변화에 따라 콘크리트의 수축과 팽창을 지배하는 응력의 일종이다. 따라서 이 수리에너지와 건조수축 변형율 사이에는 직접적인 연관관계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 건조수축과 수리에너지 사이의 이론적인 관계를 논리적으로 유도하여 두 개의 변수사이의 상관관계를 밝히는 이론식을 유도하였다. 본 논문에서는 세 개의 건조수축 작동구조(메카니즘)중 평상적인 상대습도하에서, 즉 50%이상에서, 작용하는 작동구조만을 고려하였다. 열전 쌍 싸이크로미터를 콘크리트 슬라브에 매설하여 수리에너지를 측정하고 동시에 건조수축량을 측정하여 두 측정값사이의 상관관계를 밝힘으로서 유도된 이론을 증명하고자 하였다. 측정결과는 본 이론의 타당성을 증명하는 동시에 본 이론이 실제 구조물의 건조수축량의 측정에 이용될수 있는 방법도 동시에 보여 주었다.
