  • Korean Government started to publish Korean CCI(Construction Cost Index) again at February 2004 since CAK(Construction Association of Korea) stopped publishing it 1994. CCI is developed using the verified statistical data, that is, input-output table and producer price index by Korean Bank and labor unit cost by CAK. Though the method is available as it uses the verified statistical data, there is a limitation to reflect the characteristics of construction. For overcoming this limitation, this study suggests CCI development method investigating the input structure of labor and material cost for each type of construction project and applying the cost variations of the items.

  • Labor work information can be converted into the useful construction information in an effort to analyze project status, measure performance, and design a new similar project plan. The labor work information can also be used to make productivity data, which can be used to analyze the relationship between 'as planned' and 'as built' in scheduling management of a project, and to calculate 'percent completion' as well as analyzing delay cause. It is require to effectively collect the labor work information base on the activities. In general, current project management heavily depends on the experience and judgment of project managers, according to the work progress. However, relying on the oかy experience and judgment of the project managers might deteriorate the transparency or reliability of the collected labor work information. The purpose of this research is thus to develop a computer-based system for monitoring the work information generated by labors input in activities using PDA and Barcode technologies, and to propose a application method of the productivity data for effective project management.

  • The curtain-wall work has been more frequently applied in the construction industry since demand of high-rise buildings has been increased. The curtain-wall work is usually performed with the frame work simultaneously for reducing construction period, but it might be delayed because of several problems caused by interference of process. However, there is not an appropriate tool which can be used by a work manager for adjusting quantity of the construction equipments or the workers when the curtain-wall work was delayed. To resolve this problem a construction simulation anticipating and analyzing potential problems before starting the work can be applied in the curtain wall work. This research suggests a general model for the curtain-wall work by using construction simulation and produces a combination of construction equipments and workers which can estimate optimum work productivity.

  • In this study, an application was developed to reduce the work between labor and safety managers and to hire better workers when hiring workers. With the expected increase in foreign workers in the future, the number of illegal workers will also increase. As a result, accident and on-site management are becoming more difficult due to insufficient information collection of workers. Therefore, it was possible to secure on-site safety through an application that could collect accurate information and reduce the time of information exchange between safety managers and labor managers. In addition, the application was designed to help the safety manager identify the faithful workers more quickly when re-employment of the day laborers if many day laborers were assessed and filled out as they were. This anticipates the expected effect of shortening the construction period. The current application collected necessary information through an interview with the site manager. If the company collects more information needed in the field and has big data than it has collected necessary information so far, it will be highly competitive in the market as it can improve the completeness of applications by establishing opinions and reflecting information accordingly.

  • The purpose of this study is to calculate and compare construction costs for On-Site Construction and Off-Site Construction in Plant Project. For this purpose, the target for calculating the construction cost was limited to the Pipe Rack(Steel Structure and Piping). The results derived according to the purpose of the study are as follows. 1)The direct construction cost for On-Site Pipe Rack construction was KRW 56 billion, with Steel Structure KRW 25.1 billion and Piping KRW 30.8 billion won. 2)Comparing the rate of change between On-Site Construction and Off-Site Construction, material costs increased by 1.9% and expenses by 192.1%, but labor costs decreased by -9.1%, resulting in a total direct construction cost increase of 8.4%. These results can be used as reference data to check the current status of the increase or decrease in construction costs when constructing Pipe Racks as Off-Site Construction.

2006년 하반기 건설공사 실적공사비 적용 공종 및 단가

  • 정부등 공공기관에서 시행하는 건설공사 예정가격 작성시 적용되는 2006년 하반기 실적공사비 적용대상 공종 및 단가 931개(기계설비 216, 건축 335, 토목 350)가 지난 8월 14일 공표되었다. 실적공사비 단가는 재료비, 노무비, 직접공사 경비가 포함된 공종별 단가를 계약단가에서 추출하여 유사공사의 예정가격 산정에 활용하는 방식으로 공공건설공사의 예정가격 작성시 적용되고 있다. 또한 실적공사비 단가는 공공건설공사의 설계조건이 유사한 공종을 대상으로 계약단가가 설계단가 대비 ±25% 범위 내의 단가로 2006년 하반기 실적단가 설계가 대비 평균 낙찰률이 70% 수준이다. 대부분의 공공기관에서 예정가격 작성시 적용하고 있는 실적공사비 단가는 종전의 표준품셈에 의한 예정가격 작성시보다 공사예정가격이 낮게 산정되고 있다. 따라서 설비건설업계도 이를 감안하여 반드시 적정공사비를 확보할 수 있는 금액으로 입찰에 참가해야 한다.

  • 근로계약 체결 시 사용자는 법적 의무를 준수하기 위해 반드시 명시하여야 할 사항은 근로계약서에 기재하고, 기타 개별 근로자와의 특별한 계약내용 및 기업의 인사관리정책상 계약서에 반드시 명시하여야 할 내용이 있다면 계약서에 서면으로 명시하는 것이 계약당사자간 신뢰를 확보하고 분쟁을 예방하는 방안이라 하겠으며 취업규칙에 위임하는 통일적인 근로조건 사항에 대해서는 취업규칙을 열람하게 하는 것이 바람직합니다.

  • Gangform compared with conventional wood and steel form is systemized form which has a capability to install and dismantle form at a time without repeating to assembly and disassembly small members. Gangform compared with ACS has some problems such as 1) Tower Crane load increase, 2) increase in safety incidence during climbing Gangform, 3) decrease in detachment operation productivity, 4) stop work due to climate impacts, and 5) decrease in labor cost, productivity, quality. A conceptual design model of automated Gangform climbing system is suggested for apartment housing construction to show its technical/economic feasibility and workers' safety while increasing operation productivity and concrete quality.

  • 3D(Difficult, Dirty, Dangerous) 산업의 대표적인 산업으로 인식되는 건설업은 현재 노무기능인력의 고령화와 신규 기능인력 육성의 어려움이라는 문제에 당면하였으며, 이러한 3D 산업이라는 이미지의 탈피 및 노동집약적 사업구조에 대한 변화에 대한 대안으로써 타산업과의 융복합을 통한 이미지 쇄신 및 생산성 향상을 위해 자동화 및 정보화를 위한 노력을 경주하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 건설 자동화 및 정보화를 위한 알고리즘 개발 연구방법론에 대한 기초연구로써, 초고층 공사에서의 물류 효율화를 위한 장비간 통신방법에 대한 모델을 설정하고, 해당 모델에 대해 적용 가능한 알고리즘을 도출하는 프로세스를 규명함으로써, 건설 자동화 및 정보화 연구를 진행하는 단계에서 최적화(Optimization)를 위한 알고리즘 규명에 대한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
