A Survey Analysis to Derive Priorities of Technology Developments for Automation of Construction Project (건설 프로젝트 자동화 기술개발 우선순위 도출을 위한 설문 분석)

  • After the outbreak of COVID-19, the construction industry, which has more contact between workers than other industries, needs to improve its environment through the technology development for automation of construction projects. This study conducted 5-point scale surveys of 39 candidate technologies on 54 workers in construction- related industries to derive priorities for technology development to improve the construction environment. The result of this survey shows the top 10 candidate technology priorities, and this analysis can be used as basic data for setting the direction for future construction development.

  • Occurrence amount of construction waste dominates weight that is the most as 44.6% if examine domestic waste occurrence present condition, scales of construction becomes jumbo gradually depending on social environment that change and occurrence amount of construction waste is steadily increasing real condition. Construction waste processing and recycling expense have held about 0.5% to 1% of whole construction cost, but if do not manage construction waste efficiently in each construction site, ratio that construction waste processing and recycling expense hold in whole construction cost is expected that will rise more. This does hint that environmental harm and economical damage are serious by construction waste. In this study, system is activated in each construction site at information interchange system and waste electron succession and waste government official makes radio frequency realization technology (RFID) purpose suggest plan that can be applied efficiently through example analysis that a RFID technology is already applied by efficiently attained plan.

  • The goal of enterprises is to make a profit. They should change and evolve themselves according to various customers' demand and developing information technology. The construction industry has not been used to such a change of business environment, although it has a long history. So it needs a new management system that accepts the various demands of construction participants and keeps pace with the evolving environment where is replaced by high-valued one. In this point, this research's objective is to apply SCM which shows visible outcome in the manufacturing industry, to the construction industry. This study regards the concept of SCM not as a simple management method, but as a comprehensive one. In other words, SCM is composed of three viewpoints; control, organization and information technology. SCM is to improve process by new management method, to benefit each other by strategical cooperation among participants, and to make information delivery and saving system for maintaining the relationship.

Safety Assessments through Acute Oral Toxicity Test and Acute Dermal Toxicity Test of Cement Composite Containing Nano Materials (나노 소재 혼입 시멘트 복합체의 급성경구독성시험 및 급성경피독성시험을 통한 유해성 평가)

  • This study conducted acute oral toxicity test and acute dermal toxicity test to evaluate the toxicity of lightweight and high-strength cement composite containing carbon nanotube. It was compared with the toxicity of ordinary concrete that did not contain carbon nanotube. Both lightweight and high-strength cement composite and ordinary concrete were categorized in GHS category 5 as a result of acute oral toxicity test. In addition, no toxic symproms were observed during the acute dermal toxicity test in all specimens, concluding that those were judged to correspond to GHS category 5/unclassified.
