The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental hygienists, who played a significant role in dental sector, about health care management and their needs for education in an attempt to pave the way for the development of a Dental Hygienist Coordination System(DHCS). The subjects were 156 dental hygienists at 85 dental clinics, who were selected in Gwangju based on the data released as of August 2008 by the Dental Association and public health centers in sampling region. A Questionnaire was conducted in person to gather survey data and SPSS 12.0 program was utilized to make a statistical analysis. This results findings suggested that a systematic curriculum should be developed by focusing on coordination theory and practice, counseling and educational practice, health insurance affairs and health insurance fee claim management.

This study introduces trends on silver care implemented with the fourth industrial revolution technology, and discusses the use of digital technology for elderly health and rehabilitation by reviewing relevant literature to examine and present directions for future digital-based silver care commercialization. First, health smart home, which is a smart residential service available through digital technology or IT technology that supports independent living in your home, is available. Second, there are technical services using artificial intelligence(AI) and robots. Robots based on advanced intelligence can serve as an assistant for the health and rehabilitation of senior citizens by supporting services that enable the daily lives of senior, checking their health conditions, and high-quality medical care. For the commercialization of these silver care systems, information and services appropriate to the current situation, such as the physical ability and health status of the elderly, should be provided, and it would be desirable to gradually expand the use of essential technology to reflect the needs of the elderly in use so that the digital alienated.

Due to the growth of people's use of the Internet as well as interests in health, people's needs of health information have rapidly increased in public libraries. Nevertheless, there are few studies in Korea about users' needs for health information and services that public libraries can offer to support these user groups. In the current study, a comprehensive literature review was conducted in order to understand the role of public libraries and librarians in serving users with health information and to identify the types of consumer health information(CHI) services available to users in public libraries. As for the CHI services that public libraries can offer for users, the current study emphasizes and discusses the directions and guidelines for improving the following six approaches: 1) CHI collection and information resource building, 2) CHI reference services, 3) CHI user education and training program development, 4) CHI services for minority/disability/cultural diversity groups of users, 5) CHI outreach program development, and 6) CHI network development with medical libraries, academic libraries, hospital, and medical institutions and associations. Although most of the discussion in the current study centers on cases and services provided in the United States or other countries, findings would be used to inform the importance of CHI services in public libraries, and to design and develop CHI services in Korea.

사람들의 건강에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 이러한 사람들의 요구사항을 만족시킬 수 있는 다양한 서비스가 개발되어지고 있다. 헬스-관광 서비스는 관광 서비스와 헬스 서비스를 접목하여 관광객의 건강관리를 도와주는 서비스이다. 헬스-관광 서비스는 PDA의 지리정보 및 관광정보를 활용하여 방문할 관광지역과 이동방법을 선정한다. 시스템은 사용자의 기본 정보와 이동반경을 계산하여 사용자의 예상 운동량을 산출하여 보여주고, 사용자는 해당 정보를 바탕으로 전체 관광코스를 선정한다. 실 운동량 측정은 관광객의 이동거리, 이동속도, 고도, 맥박, 체온 등의 정보를 이용하여 측정하고, 측정된 운동량을 사용자에게 알려준다. 또한 실 운동량이 예상 운동량과 비교하여 과도하거나 부족한 경우 관광코스의 수정을 유도하여 적정량의 운동을 할 수 있도록 코치할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 헬스-관광 서비스 시스템의 서비스 방법을 제안하고, 헬스-관광 서비스 시스템을 설계하였다.

현대 사회가 고령화 사회로 빠르게 접어들면서 노인에 대한 의료 복지 서비스의 필요성은 증가하였다. 그러나 의료비 상승과 관련 인력 부족으로 노인 의료 환경 조성에 대안 시스템의 개발이 요구되었고, 이에 따라 IT 기술을 이용한 U-Health 시스템이 발달하고 있다. 본 논문은 가속도 감지 센서와 무선 통신, 인터넷을 이용하여 노인을 대상으로 하는 USilverCare용 노인 건강 관리 시스템의 서비스의 시나리오를 구상하고 구현한다.

지난 수십년간 의료기기는 비약적인 발전을 거듭하며 의료서비스에 이바지하여 왔다. 최근의 기술동향으로는ICT(Information and Communication Technology) 기술의 발전이 전통적인 진단과 치료 방법에서 새로운 의료서비스의 형태로 진화를 유도하고 있다. ICT 기술과 의료기기의 융합을 통하여 진단, 치료, 의료정보화 및 개인건강관리 분야에 이르기 까지 신속하고 정확하고 효율적인 의료서비스 개선을 추구하고 있다. 인구의 고령화, 만성질환자 증가, 의료비상승, 의료진의 부족이 예상되는 미래환경에서 ICT 기술의 기여도는 점점 더 커질 것이다. 전세계적인 정보통신망 인프라의 활성화와 개인용 스마트 디바이스의 보급으로 정보와 기기에 대한 접근성이 훨씬 용이해지고 웰빙에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 개인 건강관리에 대한 서비스 요구가 높아지고 있다. ICT 종주국으로서 의료기기 산업에서도 국내기업의 활약을 기대하며 ICT 융합 의료기기의 현황을 소개하고자 한다.

통신기술의 발전이 가져온 스마트 시대로의 진입은 다양한 스마트 디바이스와 콘텐츠 및 문화를 보급, 창출해내며 우리 사회 전반적인 라이프 스타일의 변화를 선도하고 있다. 특히 국민소득의 증대로 건강에 관한 소비자 욕구가 증대하면서 더 나은 삶의 질을 추구하는 웰니스가 급부상함에 따라, 치료 중심이 아닌 예방과 케어, 힐링을 위한 다양한 서비스를 위한 디바이스와 플랫폼, 분석기술의 개발 및 적용이 요구되고 있다. 또한 단순히 서비스를 제공받던 수동적인 과거 소비자 형태가 스마트 디바이스를 적극적으로 활용해내는 능동적 소비자의 모습으로 변화함에 따라 이러한 움직임은 앞으로 단순히 서비스 제공의 측면이 아닌, 웰니스 증진을 위해 특화된 스마트 디바이스와 컴퓨터, 소비자와의 상호작용에 기반한 기술로 발전되어갈 전망이다. 본 논문에서는 건강은 물론 개인의 라이프 스타일을 포함한 라이프로그 기반의 다차원적인 정보 수집과 체계적 분석, 그를 통한 모니터링과 맞춤형 서비스를 실현하는 개인화웰니스기록을 활용한 개인맞춤형웰니스 관리 시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

Through the convergence of medical services and the IT technique, the patient's personal health information computerization has been rapidly spread with propagation of electronic medical record(EHR). In addition, by entering u-health, the demand of the secondary use for public health, medical research, and medical service using electronic patient health care records are increasing. The personal health information secondary uses for the development of academic medical area and service, are very good thing. But, carelessly to use personal health information, the patient privacy would be damaged. However, there are not yet systematic studies about secondary use of personal health information. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the difference of the internal and external bill for personal medical data secondary use and propose the direction of the medical service development and preservation of the individual's privacy.

최근 우리 사회의 인구 구성 중, 노인 인구 비율이 크게 늘어남에 따라 실버 세대를 위한 체계적이고 신속한 의료 환경이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 요구에 의해 유비쿼터스 IT 기술과 센싱, 네트워크 인터페이스 등을 통한 새로운 건강 관리 서비스인 U-SilverCare 서비스 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 가속도 센서(Accelerometer)를 이용하여 실버 세대를 위한 U-SilverCare 응급상황통보 서비스를 구상 및 구현한다.

뉴욕시 정부의 이민자들에 대한 다각적인 접근과 시도에도 불구하고 의료 서비스 제공자들과 대상자간에 언어적 장벽과 문화적 차이로 인한 상호협조의 어려움은 계속되고있다. 본 연구는 뉴욕시 보건국 소속 다민족 다문화 계층의 의료수준 향상을 위한 노력의 일환으로 실시된 프로젝트 중 일부이다. 뉴욕시의 한국 이민자들이 뉴욕시에서 증가하는 추세를 감안할 때, 이들의 의료시설 이용 및 서비스 수혜에 대한 기초 조사를 실시하여 한국 이민자들의 문화적 배경과 그로 기인한 건강 신념을 알고자하는 시 정부 차원의 요구가 이 연구의 배경이다. 즉, 한국이민 사회의 독특한 특성을 뉴욕시 정부 관련 의료서비스 제공자들에게 그 이해를 높여서 한국 이민자들의 미국에서의 의료서비스 수혜의 기회를 높이고자 한 것이다. 기초 관련 연구가 전무한 한국 이민자들의 건강관련 이슈를 다루기 위해 미국 센서스와 병원 입퇴원 기록 현황에 나타난 한국인 혹은 아시안의 의료보장 실태 등을 고찰하였고, 한국이민사회의 주요 기관의 대표들과의 면담과 이민자들을 대상으로 한 직접 설문조사로 자료를 수집하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 한국 이민자들은 한국어를 주요 언어$(83\%)$로 사용하는 것으로 나타나 문화의 동화율이 낮았고, 낮은 문화 동화율은 의료 서비스 접근도를 낮추는 요인으로 나타났다. 또한, 의료 보험이 없는 것$(55\%)$이 가장 큰 요인으로 지적되었는데, 이는 미국 직장에 적응하기 어려운 이민생활로 자영업을 주로 하는 생활 양태가 비싼 사 보험(private health insurance)을 사지 못하는 요인과 관련되어있다고 본다. 따라서, 주로 이용하는 의료 서비스의 종류에도 많은 제한점이 있어서, $60\%$가 한국인 의사를 선호하며, $31\%$가 한국인 약사에게 건강관리를 의존하는 것으로 나타나 미국사회의 의료 서비스 접근도는 극히 취약한 것으로 드러났다. 의료서비스 접근을 막는 주요 장벽으로는 비싼 의료비 $(53\%)$ , 의사소통장애$(37\%)$로 나타났다. 보건의료 서비스를 위해 주로 이용하며 생활의 정보를 얻는 통로로는 한국어 신문$(69\%)$과 한국어 TV$(61\%)$, 한국어 라디오 $(57\%)$로 밝혀졌다. 결론적으로 한국 이민자들에게 좀더 나은 의료 서비스 수혜를 위해서는 문화 친밀도가 높은 의료환경 조성 및 의료 서비스 제공자들의 이해를 높이는 일 등과 함께 한국 이민자들이 의료보험을 살수 있도록 한국어로 된 의료 서비스 정보를 제공하는 등의 노력이 필요할 것으로 생각한다.
