An Autoregressive Parameter Estimation from Noisy Speech Using the Adaptive Predictor (적응예측기를 이용하여 잡음섞인 음성신호로부터 autoregressive 계수를 추산하는 방법)

  • A new method for autoregressive parameter estimation from noisy observation sequence is presented. This method, termed the AP method, is a result of an attempt to make use of the adaptive predictor which is a simple and reliable way of parameter estimation. It is shown theoretically that, for noisy input, the parameter vector computed from the prediction sequence is closer to that of the original sequence than the noisy input sequence is, under the spectral distortion criterion. Simulation results with the Kalman filter as a noise reduction filter and real speech data supported the theory. Roughly speaking, the performance of the parameter set obtained by the AP method is better than noisy one but worse than the EM iteration results. When the simplicity is considered, it could provide a useful alternative to more complicated parameter estimation methods in some applications.

  • 본 논문은 3D-HDTV 지상파 방송을 위한 분산송신 기반 단일 주파수 방송망 내 송신안테나 위치에 따른 송신신호 전력분포를 분석하였다. 분산송신 기반 단일 주파수 방송망 구조는 하나의 주 송신안테나와 3개의 부 송신 안테나로 구성되어 있어 수신기가 방송망 내 어느 위치에 있더라도 최소 2개 이상의 송신신호를 수신할 수 있다. 이러한 방송망 구조는 송신 안테나들이 지역적으로 배치되어 있기 때문에 공간 다이버시티를 획득 할 수 있다. 그러나 거리에 따른 송신신호 전력 감쇠 때문에 방송망 내 수신기 위치에 따라 수신 SNR이 변화하게 된다. 시스템 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 단일 주파수 방송망 내 송신전력 분포 분석을 통하여 안정적인 데이터 수신율을 보장하기 위해 적용 가능한 데이터 송신기법에 대해 고찰하였다.

  • In this paper, short range IVC(Inter-Vehicle Communication) channel is modeled in three kinds considering rain attenuation and oxygen absorption. And the performance of DS/CDMA communication system in one path Rician model suitable for platton driving which is the final goal of AVHS(Advanced Vehicle & Highway System) is analyzed. Also, the reflection coefficients in 60 GHz is calculated. For the performance improvement both BCH channel coding and MRC diversity reception technique are adopted. The BER performance is evaluated as a function of packet length, Rician depth and the distance between vehicles.

  • Deformation of Lead plate blast pressure meter were measured after they were exposed to surface blasting. Blasting pressure was determined by comparing the data with calibration graph which was drawn from the laboratory experiments with gas gun of Hopkinson bar tester. The results were compared with calculated values from the equations of CONWEP (Conventional Weapons Effects Program) and DDESB (Department of Defence Explosives Safety Board). Measured values were lower than calculated values in near field. Gradual decaying tendency of the pressure was observed. It means that estimated blasting pressure of very near field with theoretical equations can be uncertain.

Tunnel Blasting Design with Equations Obtained from Borehole and Crater Blasting (시추공 및 누두공 발파자료의 터널설계 적용)

  • Characteristics of vibration propagation of borehole blasting were analyzed with 578 borehole vibration data obtained from 23 sites which were used in tunnel and underground space design, and 221 tunnel vibration data fron 4 sites of tunnel under construction. Analysis results on the damping of vibration velocity show that site factors in borehole blasting were higher than those in tunnel blasting. And the critical charge calculated from regression equations at large scaled distance was lower in borehole blasting. Dominant frequency was in the range of 30∼60Hz for the borehole blasting and 60∼90Hz for the tunnel blasting. As a conclusion, the borehole blasting data should not be used on the tunnel blasting design without careful statistical analysis.

  • The propagation of blast vibration and the damping characteristics depend on both the mechanical properties of rock mass and weight charge. In this study, the characteristics of propagation and damping were analyzed by FLAC. The construction site was the second Kwang-ju circulating read. Taguchi method which is one of experimental design methods was used for determination of input data and parameter levels. The results showed that rock density was the most dominant of variables being concerned in this study, which affect the propagation of blast vibration.

  • This paper presents the design and calibration methods of self-integrated magnetic sensor. Also the distance response measurement of magnetic field produced a transient large current and the frequency response measurement are carried out As the integrating resistance increases. the sensitivity of the sensor is improved, but the decay time constant of response decreases, Also the experimental results are well agreed with the theoretical analysis of the equivalent circuit.

  • In this paper, we realized a transceiver system for short distance communication with a commercial RF module working in ISM band. Also we measured system performance by transmitting baseband data in a building and then we compared the demodulated data bits with stored data bits in a PC connected with demodulator. The RF module In the experiments works only in the bandwidth of 424MHz-429MHz. The signal level degrades as the distance between transmitter and receiver increases. We measured the signal level and bit error and present the measured results with various locations in the building. And it is concluded that the measured data may be used in the design of short distance network in a building.

  • The procedure of wave energy dissipation due to breaking has been investigated with trains of the regular wave. To obtain the data for wave breaking and its deformation, experiments have been conducted by utilizing a horizontal step adjoining to a combined slope of 1/20 and 1/10. After breaking the wave height decreases by dissipation but attains a stable value at some distance from the breaking point Experimental results show that the stable wave is considerably affected by the wave period. The study gives the general form of stable wave height A new one-dimensional wave deformation model is proposed. being coupled with an approximated shoaling coefficient before wave breaking and the new energy dissipation term after breaking. It was compared with the experimental data. It predicts well the wave height deformation before and after wave breaking even on the abrupt change of the depth.
