Genetic Algorithms based on Maintaining a diversity of the population for Job-shop Scheduling Problem (다양성유지를 기반으로 한 Job-shop Scheduling Problem의 진화적 해법)

  • This paper presents a new genetic algorithm for job-shop scheduling problems. When we design a genetic algorithm for difficult ordering problems such as job-shop scheduling problems, it is important to design encoding/crossover that is excellent in characteristic preservation and to maintain a diversity of population. We used Job-based order crossover(JOX). Since the schedules generated by JOX are not always active-schedule, we proposed a method to transform them into active schedulesby using the GT method with c)laracteristic preservation. We introduce strategies for maintaining a diversity of the population by eliminating same individuals in the population. Furthermore, we are not used mutation. Experiments have been done on two examples: Fisher s and Thompson s $lO\timeslO and 20\times5$ benchmark problem.

  • The purpose of this paper is to implement smart farm using automatic navigation, short - range wireless communication network technology, and automatic take - off and landing system using unmanned aerial vehicle to maximize the efficiency of grazing farm management. The grazing pasture management system that integrates ICT fusion technology for the activation of the mountain ecological livestock production is expected to contribute to the improvement of the productivity of the grazing livestock, the infrastructure to produce the excellent quality, and the competitiveness of the livestock industry in response to the FTA. And it will contribute to the improvement of career force through the supply to the farmhouse.

  • Comparing to the conventional power systems, PV(photovoltaic) outdoor lighting system applications are evaluated as the most economical application. In this paper, we installed two PV lighting systems, which uses LPS(low pressure sodium) and electrodeless lame as their loads, and applied a computer-based data acquisition system using the Labview program for monitering purpose and effective operations, considering battery life time Also, we observed the generated power from the solar array, and energy losses comparing to its installed capacity. Because most PV system performance procedures have looked at the performance of the individual components and have deficiency of addressing how the integrated system works, we confirmed the decrease possibility of the solar amy capacity after analyzing the performance of the installed PV lighting systems.

  • In this paper, we propose a 3D visualization system that expresses the simulation results of port container operation monitoring and planning in terms of the movements of the surrounding environment including static and dynamic objects. It also enables us to objectively evaluate the operation model by way of animating the actual port operations. With XML-based design of object states, the port simulator visualization system (PSVS) that we propose has been implemented so as to maximize the interoperability with the existing port operation simulation (CATOS), and express the realtime animation of large-scale objects. The design method of PSVS system is explained, and its validity is experimentally examined.

  • 기후변화에 따라 매개 질병의 발병 빈도가 증가하고 있으며 모기와 같은 매개체에 의해 전염되는 매개 질병은 인구집단에 대한 중요한 위협 요인이다. 이러한 질병 관리를 위해 지역별 모기 서식 현황을 모니터링 하는 시스템의 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 하지만 현재의 모기 모니터링은 개체 파악을 위한 분류와 동정을 사람이 직접 수행하기에 오랜 시간이 소요된다. 이 연구는 그러한 문제점을 해결하고 미래 매개곤충 서식 현황 파악 시스템의 기반을 마련하기 위해 심층 신경망(Deep Neural Networks)을 활용하여 한국 주요 매개모기 종 분류를 수행하고 결과를 분석하였다. 종 분류를 위한 모델은 잘 알려진 신경망 모델인 DenseNet(Densely Connected Networks)을 사용하였고 이를 직접 촬영한 모기 데이터와 약간의 변형을 가한 모기 데이터를 사용하여 학습시켰다. 학습 데이터를 각각 5배, 20배, 100배로 증강하여 실제 데이터의 부족을 보완하였으며, 이를 통해 최대 99.48%의 정확도를 달성하였다.

  • SMIL is a declarative markup language based on XML, which enables users to make effective multimedia presentations on the web by synchronizing media objects. In this paper, we design and implement a SMIL authoring tool which support Intuitive creation of web multimedia documents and diverse practical use of created information. Besides, creation, management and authoring module of SMIL document, it offers template interface depending on network bandwidth selection for general users to create multimedia presentation a convenient way. In addition, we implement SMIL document management facility for a large number of users, by connecting SMIL contents database sever.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy compensated PID control system is proposed for formation control of mobile robots. The control system consists of a kinematic controller based on the leader-follower approach and a dynamic controller to handle dynamics effects of mobile robots. To maintain the desired formation of mobile robots, the dynamic controller is equipped with a PID controller; however, the PID controller has poor performance in nonlinear and changing environments. In order to improve these problem, we applied the additional fuzzy compensator. Finally, the proposed control system has been evaluated through computer simulation to demonstrate the improved results.

  • In recent years, the cyber attack has become a universal phenomenon, and the attacks in cyberspace are regarded as a kind of war, cyber-warfare. However, cyber-warfare is difficult to identify the damage caused by the attack. In order to effectively evaluate the damage to the attack that may occur in the cyber-warfare, this paper describes the damage evaluation simulation of the cyber-warfare based on DEVSim++, which can calculate the damage to the cyber attack using the MOCE (Measure of Cyber Effectiveness). Also, in order to help the commander in the cyber Command&Control phase, the number of victims by attack classification is expressed in the form of Venn diagram.

  • Password-based authentication is the protocol that two entities share a password in advance and use the password as the basic of authentication. Password authentication schemes are divided into weak-password and strong-password authentication scheme. SPAS protocol, one of the strong-password authentication scheme, was proposed for secure against DoS attack. However it has vulnerability of the replay attack. In this paper, we analyze the vulnerability to the replay attack in SPAS protocol. Then we also propose an Improved-Strong Password Authentication Scheme (I-SPAS) with secure against the replay attack.

  • Group signature schemes were made for serving anonymities of signers, but the group signature schemes have been seldomly adapted to the real-world applications because of their low computation and space (i.e. signature length) efficiency, complicated construction, limited user management, and so on. Kang, Hwang, etc. performed the study about the local linkability that is for helping group signature schemes to be adapted more easily to the real world. In this paper, we investigate the nature of local linkability, which did not deal with well in the previous studies, in detail and perform the formal proof for the security of special entities who hold the local linkability.
