The purpose of this study is to use meta-analysis as a research method to investigate the correlation between early child teachers' teaching efficacy and their job satisfaction, and thereby look into the effect size of the two variables and their sub-variables. To achieve the purpose, this researcher chose a total of 37 theses for analysis and collected 289 data for analyzing the effect size. Based on the data, CMA(Comprehensive Meta Analysis) 2.0 was applied. According to the analysis, the correlation between early childhood teachers' teaching efficacy and their job satisfaction was higher than the medium effect size on the basis of Cohen(1992) research. In the sub-variables of teaching efficacy, the correlation of personal teaching efficacy with job satisfaction showed higher effect size than that of general teaching efficacy. In the sub-variables of job satisfaction, the correlation between the belief in job and teaching efficacy showed the highest effect size. In terms of thesis type as a moderating variable, Ph.D dissertations showed higher effect size than journals or M.A. theses. As the result of the meta-analysis on publishing year and the number of samples, there was no statistical significance. On the basis of the analysis results, discussions and limitations of this study were suggested.

The subjects of this study were 457 students who attend two collages in Incheon and all of them were majoring in early childhood education. The collected data were analyzed through SPSS Window program. Correlation analysis and Multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results showed the there were correlation among economic level, self-esteem and teaching efficacy. Also there were mediating effects of self-esteem on the relationship between economic level and personal teaching efficacy. As a whole the result of this study showed the teaching efficacy of early childhood preservice teacher were more influenced by self-esteem than by economic level. The data were collected by using three questionnaires(Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instruments, Inventory of Science Attitude, and Attitude Test for Child Care Teachers). The data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation and step-wise Regression. The results of this study are as follows; First, there were positive correlations between aptitude for child care teacher and self-efficacy in teaching science. Second, there were positive correlations between science attitude and self-efficacy in teaching science of child care teachers. Third, the significant predictors of self-efficacy in teaching science were interest in science, social value of science, interpersonal relationship management abilities, and positive emotions. The results of this study can be used to develop effective teacher training programs for early childhood science education.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between an infant teachers' efficacy and job stress by demographic variables to provide the data for improving job conditions and teacher education. For this study, teachers who work in the childcare center located in Gyeongsangbukdo participated in a survey. The questionnaire was distributed from March 11. 2013 to March 29. 2013. The results were as follows; first, an infant class childcare teachers' efficacy was above average and general efficacy was higher than personal efficacy. There were significant differences in personal variable(age, marital status) and working condition(the type of facility, average working hours, average wage, the number of children). Second, an infant class childcare teachers' job stress was above average and that depended on the economy, the infant's parents, work, infant, individual, administration, and co-workers in decreasing order of influence. The job stress was significant differences in personal variable(age, martial status, experience, number of completed training) and working variable(the type of facility, average working hours, the number of children, average wage). The participants of this study were 169 infants and their teachers in daycare centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The instruments were collected through teachers' responses. Data were analyzed through the variance analysis using PASW 18.0 to verify the infant teachers' susceptibility, efficacy, and infant-teacher interaction based on infant teachers' background variables; to find out the relationship between the variables, Pearson correlation analysis was performed, and to find out the relative influence of variables on the infants' social and emotional development, stepwise multiple regression analysis was performed. Results were as follows. Firstly, Among the background variables of the teachers, their career as infant teachers displayed differences in the infants' social and emotional development, and the susceptibility, efficacy, and infant-teacher interactions displayed partial differences based on the teaching career, career as infant teachers, age, daycare center type, and the academic background of the teachers. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of mentoring in enhancing the professionalism of low-experience science teachers on their general teaching and science teaching efficacies. The mentoring for low-experience science teachers was conducted on 24 science teachers with less than three years of experience over a nine-month period between April and December, 2016. The questionnaires developed by advanced researches were modified and used to test the teachers' general teaching and science teaching efficacies. As the result of a pre-test, the mean science teaching efficacy score was 3.02 points. In particular, the mean science teaching self-efficacy score was 2.86 points and the mean science teaching outcome expectancy score was higher at 3.17 points. In the domain of science teaching outcome expectancy, the mean for female teachers was higher than that of male teachers, and the mean for middle school teachers was higher than that of high school teachers in every domain. However, this result is not statistically significant. The results of a post-test showed that the mean science teaching efficacy score of mentee teachers increased to 3.08 points over the pre-test. In particular, the mean science teaching self-efficacy score was 3.11 points and the mean science teaching outcome expectancy score was 3.04 points in the post-test. This presents that the mentoring training conducted was effective in improving the science teaching efficacy of mentee teachers.
