Personal Color Types Classified by Skin and Hair Colors of College Students in Taegu and Kyungbuk Area (대학생들의 피부색과 머리카락색에 따른 개인색체 유형 분류 -대구.경북지역을 중심으로-)

  • This dissertation has been intented to grasp the components of personal colors and classify personal colors. The Method of the study was quasi-experimental. In the experiment to evaluate personal colors, the subjects was 315 male and female college students in Taegu and Kyungbuk area. The evaluations were analyzed by SAS and the methods used were descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, T-test. The results obtained were as follows: First, the major components of subjects personal colors were found to be the colors of skin and hair. Secondly personal colors were classified into three types: warm, cool, and ambiguous. Third types of personal colors tended to be different between men and women.

Comparison on Color Preference of BRICs Consumers (BRICs 지역 소비자 색채선호 비교)

  • Color is one of the most effective factor in visual aspect influencing consumer's choice. However, the color preference varies as time passes, society changes, new culture develops, that is variable in its nature. And the underlying meaning or accompanying color image differs in every area. We believe the study on the color preference is meaningful, especially on BRICs market, recently gathering attentions for their market competitiveness and growth potential. For this research, data collected from 5 countries(including Korea) by 1:1 interview during 3 weeks in Aug. 2005. Usable data from 923 adult urban residents were used for final data analysis. Color chart for research was categorized by using COS Color System into KS standard color 10grades plus 1 neutral, with 5 grades of tones. Through this empirical study, the data were analyzed by mean, ANOVA, Duncan-test of SPSS Win(ver.10.0). The result generated from this study are as follows : First, analysis through hue & tone system reveals that preference on principle colors (R, Y, G, B, P) is higher than intermediate colors and pale, light, vivid tones were preferred to dare and deep tones. Second, personal color preference is reflected in color preference in fashion items. Thus, we may conclude color preference in fashion item largely influenced by country characteristics. Third, biggest difference by country from hue analysis are neutral and PB colors. Neutral, widely preferred color in every county, more preferred in India, Russia, Brazil than China. We expect this result can be utilized as a basic material for developing BRICs market.

  • See and feel the emotion recognition is the image of a person variously changed according to the environment, personal disposition. Thus, the image recognition has been focused on the emotional sensibilities computer you want to control the number studies. However, existing emotional computing model is numbered and the objective is clearly insufficient measurement conditions. Thus, through quantifiable image Emotion Recognition and emotion computing, is a study of the situation requires an objective assessment scheme. In this paper, the sensitivity was represented by numbered sizes quantified according to the image recognition calculation emotion. So apply the principal attributes of the color image emotion recognition as a configuration parameter. In addition, in calculating the color sensitivity by applying a digital computing focused research. Image color emotion computing research approach is the color of emotion attribute, brightness, and saturation reflects the weighted according to importance to the emotional scores. And free-degree by applying the sensitivity point to the image sensitivity formula (X), the tone (Y-axis) is calculated as a number system. There pleasure degree (X-axis), the tension and position the position of the image point that the sensitivity of the emotional coordinate crossing (Y-axis). Image color coordinates by applying the core emotional effect of Russell (Core Affect) is based on the 16 main representatives emotion. Thus, the image recognition sensitivity and compares the number size. Depending on the magnitude of the sensitivity scores demonstrate this sensitivity must change. Compare the way the images are divided up the top five of emotion recognition emotion emotions associated with 16 representatives, and representatives analyzed the concentrated emotion sizes. Future studies are needed emotional computing method of calculation to be more similar sensibility and human emotion recognition.

  • 최근에 개인의 경험을 통해 얻어지는 외부의 물리적 자극에 대한 복합적인 감성을 측성 및 분석하여 공학적으로 처리함으로서 인간이 보다 편리하고 안락한 생활을 영위하도록 하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 색상기반의 색채 심리를 파악하는데 RGB 컬러정보를 분석하여 퍼지논리와 추론을 이용하여 감성을 인식하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 감성인식 방법을 알슈울러와 해트왹(Alschuler and Hattwick)의 색상에 대한 감성 상태를 파악하는데 적용한 결과. 제안된 감성인식 방법이 효율적인 것을 확인하였다.

  • To find suitable color for an individual is very important in personal image-making. In recent years, the importance and role of personal image is also more emphasized. This study deals with the necessity d personal color system and the proposal of color which looks nice on a person as a result d personal color system. It also includes the method of making personal image by balancing between and using both favorite color and unfavorite color. Besides, I study how does the color image affect the personal appearance image in this paper. From clinical experiments, I concluded as follow. First, Each person has his suitable color. When the color is used, the color, pimples, flows and so on are covered and defects of his face are made up for. Second, By changing the factors of his own original color-group and decision factors - color d skin, hair, eye, etc -, I can change personal color-group. Third, The image of color affects the personal appearance image, when it used in make-up and hair-color. Considering above results, If one uses one's suitable color, one will complement defects done's face and improve merits of one's. Besides, One will be more confident and active by using one's suitable color.

  • 특정 대상 또는 외부 자극에 대해 반사적이고 직관적으로 발생하는 느낌으로 정의되는 감성은 자신의 경험을 바탕으로 개개인이 서로 다른 반응을 보이는 특징을 가진다. 이러한 감성은 맞춤형, 적응형 및 개인화된 서비스를 요구하는 현대사회에서 반드시 필요하고 연구되어야 하는 대상이다. 하지만, 감성은 외부 자극에 따라 빠르게 변하고 객관성을 유지하기 어려울 뿐 아니라 복합적으로 나타나기 때문에 측정하거나 표현하기가 매우 어렵다. 시각정보는 감성을 이해하고 전달하는 데 큰 비중을 차지하며, 대상에 대한 종합적인 정보를 전달하여 빠르게 인지하고 이해하는데 많은 도움을 준다. 그 중 색채정보는 대상의 객관적인 특정, 심리적 속성 및 사회적 배경을 반영할 수 있어 복합적인 감성을 효과적으로 표현하고 전달한다. 많은 연구를 통해 감성과 색채정보 간의 관계를 생성하고 정의하였지만, 단일 시각정보로 감성을 표현하는 것은 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 종합적인 시각정보를 고려한 감성연구를 제안하기 위해 대용량의 감성어휘와 이미지를 수집하였다. 감성어휘는 The Center for the Study of Emotion and Attention(CSEA)에서 생성한 균형 감성어휘 중 273개를 사용하였고 감성이미지는 객관성과 공통성을 유지하기 위해 사용자의 참여가 활발하고 이미지에 부착된 태그가 비교적 정확한 Flickr를 사용하여 수집하였다. 감성어휘 당 약 500개의 이미지를 수집하고자 시도하였고, 총 130,944개의 감성이미지 후보를 수집하였다. 한 번 수집된 이미지는 중복을 피하였고, JPEG형식으로 저장되어 있다. 또한, 각 이미지에는 사용자 태그가 평균적으로 약 25개가 포함되어 있고, 총 2,l47,645개의 태그를 수집하였다.

As purpose of this MCC sensitivity palette research takes advantage of the most sensitive color, do. Because applying correct sensitivity more than when design with matter already settled, rid private prejudice, and is thing to convey design intention exactly to user. Excellent culture contents must be able to equip international color design sensitivity. MCC sensitivity palette research studies and carries on the head emotion and sensitivity language that is nationality first, and collect End arranged sensitivity adjective through data analysis and picture data analysis that is the next time research leader Munheonjeok. And distributed collected adjective equally, and arrange distributed adjective by field of each sensitivity and collect system. Do 3 colors, 4 colors color scheme in selected sensitivity adjective and completed Simheom version. Result of beta version research to color specialist and designer last digital palette through question and inquiry compose. Through this process, completed more real and correct digital color sensitivity palette. Completed color scheme is operated in www.mcdri.net on web, and also programs to windows base and developed to software. MCC color scheme palette that research result is made includes sensitivity data database. This database can use directly in industry and continuous development is available. Software can search color scheme in language and idea development through classification search that use 3 attributes of color is available there is cough data of each output device different color error.

A Study of the Oriental Influences on Poiret's Designs (폴 푸아레의 디자인에 표현(表現)된 동양(東洋) 영향(影響)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • 폴 푸아레 (1879-1944)가 패션 역사상 혁명적이라고 할 수 있는 여성의 코르셋을 제거시켰다는 것은 익히 알려진 사실이다. 그리고 그러한 결과로 인해 발생된 새로운 직선형의 실루엣에 화려한 색채와 장식을 하여 이전 시대와는 전혀 다른 현대패션의 근원이 되었다. 본 연구는 푸아레의 새로운 직선 실루엣과 화려한 색채와 경이적 장식의 근원이 다름아닌 동양이라는데 중점을 두었다. 이미 국내의 몇편의 논문에서 이러한 논의가 지적되어 왔으나 다른 논제를 다루는 중에 언급이 되었고 당시의 작품이나 동시대의 자료를 분석한 것이 아닌 근래의 출판물에 의존한 연구가 대부분이었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 그의 동양풍 디자인의 근원을 밝히는데 있어 가능한한 1 차적 자료의 접근을 시도하였다. 1912년 작품인 이브닝 드레스, 터번, 숄, 구두 각 1점과 그의 작품 의도와 생애의 추구를 말해주는 자서전(1930년 불어본 및 1931년 영어본)과 보그(Vogue)지의 기사(1920년 2월호, 9월호) 등을 통하여 그의 동양에 대한 관심을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 푸아레의 동양 영향의 근원은 19세기 말 유럽에서 절정을 이룬 'Sino-Japonism'(중국-일본주의)의 심취, 러시아 발레단의 의상과 색채, 천일야화의 영향에 의한 중동(페르시아)에 대한 열망, 그리고 인도 토민병의 복식에서 비롯된 터번에의 매료 등이었음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 근원에서 탄생된 디자인으로는 직선형의 튜닉, 기모노 소매(처음엔 푸아레 자신도 중국의 것으로 혼동을 하기도 했지만), 하렘팬츠, 비대칭적인 카프탄식의 코트, 원색의 사용, 극동지역의 직물과 문양, 술장식, 터번 등으로 나타내었다. 따라서 폴 푸아레의 동양적인 관심은 단지 개인적 '취향 혹은 취미(taste)'가 아니라 한 시대양식으로 자리잡은 '동양주의(Orientalism)'라 할 수 있으며 이러한 푸아레의 동양주의는 당시의 패션에 있어 신체의 선을 부정하여 코르셋을 제거 시키게한 그의 모더니즘의 근거가 된다. 본연구의 제한점으로 1차적 자료를 수집하는데에 있어 보다 폭넓지 못했던 점을 밝혀둔다.

  • The flavor of food is not decided by only the sense of taste. Flavor is a complex ,ionization involving taste and aroma. It is also affected by the appearance, color and shape and touch or texture of food. Although our all senses are crucial factors in recognizing the sense of food, the sense of vision, especially colors, is a more crucial aspect. Because when consumers contact food, first of all, they see and recognize the color of the food and associate the flavor of the food as the colors of the food. This study focuses on the ways for applying colors to food so that consumers can associate the flavor of food efficiently. This study conducts a case study using web survey about the association of flavor by chocolate's colors. The result of the case study shows crucial factors influencing the association of food and color palettes according to sorts and degrees of chocolate's taste.

A study on the Color Image of University students (대학생의 색채 이미지에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the image of color of 230university students. In this paper, the degree of preference of for Blue, White were higher than those of others. There was a difference among individuals for the hatred color. It was considered Yellow as spring. Blue as summer and White as winter about the seasonal color, but the range of color image was wide for the color of autumn. White, Grey and Black like achromatic colors have a proper image, black has a positive image in particular. In case of 12 chromatic colors, Red, Yellow, Blue and Yellow Green have a proper image. In particular, Red was shown the same image but Blue was shown the contradiction image as compared with the preceding studies. Green, one of the primary colors(Red, Green, Blue) of light sources, has not a characteristic image.
