  • 1950년(年) 이후(以後) 무연탄(無煙炭)으로 만든 연탄(煉炭)을 취사(炊事), 난방용(煖房用)으로 가정(家庭)에서 광범위(廣範圍)하게 사용(使用)하게 되면서 연탄(煉炭)가스내(內)의 일산화탄소(一酸化炭素)로 인(因)한 중독사고(中毒事故)가 빈발(頻發)하여 심각(深刻)한 국민보건(國民保健)의 문제(問題)가 되어왔다. 저자(著者)들의 실태조사(實態調査)(1975년도(年度))에 의(依)하면 서울특별시일원(特別市一圓)에 있어 일산화탄소중독(一酸化炭素中毒)의 년간발생(年間發生)은 인구(人口), 10만당(萬當) 경증(輕症) 260명(名), 혼수상태(昏睡狀態)의 중증중독(重症中毒) 45명(名), 사망(死亡) 1명(名)으로 위험인구(危險人口)를 3,000만명(萬名)으로 하였을 때 전국적(全國的)으로 일산화탄소중독(一酸化炭素中毒)의 추정발생수(推定發生數)는 년간(年間) 경증(輕症) 78만명(萬名), 중증(重症) 13만(萬) 5천명(千名), 사망(死亡) 3,000명(名)으로 그 피해(被害)의 규모(規模)가 100만을 육박(肉薄)하는 가공(可恐)할 수자(數字)를 보여주고 있다. 저자(著者)들은 이러한 심각(深刻)한 국민보건(國民保健)의 문제(問題)를 우선(于先) 실천가능(實踐可能)한 제이차예방(第二次豫防)에 역점(力點)을 두어 고압산소요법(高壓酸素療法)을 보급(普及)할 목적(目的)으로 일인용고압산소장치(一人用高壓酸素裝置)를 개발(開發)하고 1969년(年) 1월(月)에 서울대학교병원(大學校病院)에 고압산소치료실(高壓酸素治療室)을 개설(開設)하여 급성일산화탄소(急性一酸化炭素) 중독환자(中毒患者)에 대(對)한 응급치료(應急治療)를 실시(實施)하여 1978년(年)까지 10년간(年間)의 치료결과(治療結果)를 요약(要約)한바 다음과 같다. 1. 총치료환자수(總治療患者數)는 2,242명(名)이고 회복(回復)된 수(數)는 2,202명(名)으로 98.2%의 회복률(回復率)을 보였다. 2. 계절적(季節的)으로 10월(月)에서 4월(月)까지가 연중최성기(年中最盛期)이나 5월(月)에서 9월(月)까지도 적지않은 환자(患者)의 발생(發生)을 볼 수 있었다. 3. 연령별분포(年齡別分布)를 보면 15세(歲)${\sim}29$세군(歲群)이 전체환자(全體患者)의 반이상(半以上)인 52.7%를 차지하고 있고 $0{\sim}14$세군(歲群)은 인구비(人口比)에 대해 발생(發生)이 훨씬 적은 결과(結果)를 보이고 있다. 4. 도착시간별(到着時間別) 입원율(入院率)은 오전(午前) 10시이후(時以後) 도착군(到着群)서부터는 입원율(入院率)이 급증(急增)하는데 이는 병원도착(病院到着)이 늦일수록 당일회복(當日回復)이 되지못하고 입원가료(入院加療)하게 됨을 나타내주는 결과(結果)라 할 수 있다. 5. 병발증(倂發症)으로는 급성욕창, 폐렴(肺炎) 및 신경학적(神經學的) 이상등(異常等)의 소견(所見)을 많이 볼 수 있었다.

  • Landslides cause enormous economic losses and casualties. Korea has mountainous regions and heavy slopes in most parts of the land and has consistently built new roads and large-scale housing complexes according to its industrial and urban growth. As a result, the damage from landslides becomes greater every year. In summer, landslides frequently occur due to local torrential rains and storms. It is critical to predict the potential areas of landslides in advance and to take preventive measures to minimize consequences and to protect property and human life. The previous study on landslides mostly focused on identifying the causes of landslides in the areas where they occurred, and on analyzing landslide vulnerability around the areas without considering rainfall conditions. Thus there were not enough evaluations of the direct risk of landslides to human life. In this study, potentially risky areas for landslides were identified using the GIS data in order to evaluate direct risk on farmlands, roads, and artificial structures that were closely connected to human life. A map of landslide risk was made taking into account rainfall conditions, and a land use map was also drawn with satellite images and digital maps. Both maps were used to identify potentially risky areas for landslides.

Transition of Teachers' Perception and Improvement of Students' Perception on Food Additives through a Training Program (식품첨가물 바르게 알기 연수를 통한 교사들의 인식 전환과 학생들의 인식 개선 효과)

  • Based on the previous reports that majority of teachers have negative perceptions on food additives, a teacher training program called 'Let's teach food additives correctly' was developed and applied to improve teachers' unbalanced perception on food additives and let them teach students with sound scientific background. The 15-hours training program consisted of understanding of food safety and food additives, education materials on food additives, development of teaching-learning plan, meeting with professionals from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), visiting MFDS labs, application to school class, and evaluation. A total of 63 teachers participated in the training through 2 sessions conducted in August 2016. As a result, teachers showed high satisfaction rates (4.2~4.5 in 5.0-Likert scale) and 91.5% answered the training helpful for the school class. Although their initial intention to participate the training was to know the details of negative intake effects of food additives, their such perception was totally changed in addition, they suggested a continuous training for teachers and immediate correction of incorrect information in school textbooks. Also, post-training education for 1,172 students by these teachers appeared to improve the understanding of and the native perceptions on food additives significantly (p < 0.001). Above results showed that the training program could solve the problem of transmitting unbalanced information on food additives to students by training teachers, and such channel could be used to facilitate food-related risk communication.

Conjoint Analysis를 이용한 대학 급식소 선택속성 규명 및 급식소 신설 전략 도출

  • 최근 대학생들은 초등학교 때부터 혹은 중학교 때부터 급식을 받아온 세대로 급식체계에 싫증을 내고 학교 밖의 외부식당으로 눈을 돌리고 있는 세대이다. 또한, 위탁급식전문업체의 대학 내 급식사업 참여와 많은 선행 연구 등을 토대로 여러 면에서 대학 내 구내식당이 개선되고 있으나 아직도 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 외부식당과의 경쟁으로 현재 급식인원수가 매년 감소하여 운영상의 어려움을 겪고 있는 S 대학 학생식당 고객의 급식소 선택속성에 대한 의견을 조사하고 현재 운영중인 급식소 이외에 추가 설립하고자 하는 식당 신설에 대한 전략을 도출하고자 한다. SPSS통계 package (ver. 11.0)를 활용하여 기술통계(descriptive analysis), 컨조인트 분석 (conjoint analysis)을 실시하였다. 현재 학생식당 이용빈도 감소원인은 ‘음식이 맛이 없어서’가 44.8%, ‘거리가 멀기 때문’이 19.9%로 조사되어, 학생식당의 이용빈도에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것은 '음식 맛'과 '거리'인 것으로 파악되었으며, 학생식당에 대한 전반적인 만족도는 ‘보통이다’가 37.8%, ‘불만족 한다’가 36%, ‘매우 불만족한다’가 18.4%, ‘만족한다’가 7.8%로 조사되어 응답자의 대부분이 식당에 대해 불만족하고 있었다. 거리에 의해 식당의 이용빈도가 감소하고 있는 것은 현 학생식당의 위치가 강의 동과 먼 거리에 위치하고 있어 강의 동이 밀집해 있는 건물과 근거리에 식당이 개설된다면 이용할 의사가 있는지 여부에 대해 64.7%가 이용하겠다는 의사를 밝혔고 26.1%는 이용하지 않겠다고 응답했다. 따라서, 학생들이 인식하는 적정 거리의 식당 위치를 파악하기 위해 식당으로 이용하는 소요시간에 대해서 조사대상자가 멀다고 인식하는 시간과 가까운 거리라고 인식하는 시간에 대한 조사 결과 가까운 거리로 인지하는 평균 이동소요시간(분)은 5분이었으며 먼 거리로 인지하는 평균이동소요시간은 10.9분으로 적당한 식당의 위치는 S~10분내의 거리로 9분 30초의 거리에 식당이 위치하면 학생들의 이용률을 극대화시킬 수 있을 거라 사료된다. 사전 대면면접을 통해 가격, 소요시간, 음식의 맛으로 선정된 속성과 각 속성별 수준을 활용한 컨조인트 분석 실시하여 도출된 학생들의 급식소 선택 시 중요하게 인식하는 속성은 가격대, 소요 시간, 음식 맛 순으로 나타났으며, 각각의 중요도는 가격이 65.42%, 소요시간인 24.76%, 음식의 맛이 9.82%였다. 즉, 학생들은 학생식당의 서비스 품질 속성 중에서 상대적으로 식사 가격을 가장 중요하기 생각하는 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로는 식사를 하기 위해 식당까지 가는데 소요되는 시간, 음식의 맛을 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 분석되었다. 컨조인트 분석결과 조사대상자가 가장 선호하는 대학 식당으로는 이동하는데 6-10분이 소요되는 거리에 위치한 식당으로 2,100-2,500원 정도의 가격대로 맛있고 깔끔한 식당을 가장 선호하는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서, 현재 운영중인 학생식당이 모두 1,800원의 단일 식단가로 운영되고 있는 점을 감안하여 학생식당을 신설할 경우에는 이동하는데 10분 이상 소요되지 않는 장소에 가격대는 현재보다 더 높은 2,000-2,500원의 가격대에서 맛있고 깔끔한 현재와는 차별화 된 일품메뉴 위주의 식단의 학생식당을 신설하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다.

Development and Evaluation of the Educational Program for South Korean Middle School Students in Preparation for Reunification on North Korean Family Living Culture (중학생을 위한 통일대비 가정생활문화교육 프로그램 개발과 평가)

  • This study aimed at developing an educational program for South Korean adolescents on North Korean family living culture so that the students become familiar with the values and everyday lifestyles of North Korea. Understanding of North Korean culture is considered important as a foundation for social integration in prospect of future reunification. The contents of the program were developed based on the analysis of North Korean defectors' interviews and review of the literature and media reports on North Korean family culture. The program consists of 12 units of 40-minute sessions with the following topics: economy and consumption, leisure activities, family relationships, dating and spouse choices, fashion changes, clothing acquisition and care, food choices and local diets, dietary problems, housing, and neighborhood. The program was implemented between December 21 and 30, 2015 in a middle school located in Seoul. This program is expected to be useful in preparing the students as future leaders to create harmonious family living culture in the reunified Korea.

  • In these days, science is too complex and comprehensive scientific practices to be reduced to scientific knowledge. Also it's actors go beyond the limit of scientist society to the broad range of supporting system scientific journalism, education, and business. Science is very important cultural practice of our times. This Study focus on the effect of interdisciplinary approach in understanding modern science culture. First, this paper suggest the approach of public understanding of science(PUS) as a framework PUS has provided new perspectives for the relation of scientific knowledge and understanding. Traditional approach(so-called 'deficit model') regarded understanding as mere transportation of scientific knowledge. So it may be called 'knowledge-oriented approach' to understanding. But PUS consider understanding process of 'dynamic reconstructing' which is occurred in complex socio-cultural context. Second, this article analysis the Korea University STS course(2002-2003) 'Science Technology & Society' as the case study. The case study examine how interdisciplinary approach help students to understand 'sciene in the making'.

An Analysis on Policy of Independent College using the Four-Dimensional Framework (중국의 독립학원 정책 분석 : 다차원 교육정책분석 모형을 중심으로)

  • China's independent college approved private education investment, and facilitates the use of funds to support individual investors, corporations, and society. In contrast to China's public universities, the college guarantee private school method of operation. Its bachelor's degree, admission to students, the establishment of a separate corporation, and the recognition of scholastic achievements, was established with the aim of ensuring the diversity of higher education institutions in China. However, since the early 1990s, the independent college, which has emerged as a new way of higher education in China, has achieved quantitative growth over the past 30 years, but the quality of education has not yet grown. The reason why the independent college in China is interested is that it receives support from the facilities and professors of the original public college, and the major in which it is established and shares the reputation of the university. This study tried to analyze the policy of independent college which is a unique higher education institution in China. For this purpose, we use Four-Dimensional Framework to analyze the problem of China's independent colleges. It examines the profitability and non-profitability of independent college as a normative dimension and analyzes the Chinese society that have the old "guanxi" culture core in China. On the structural dimension, we analyzed the structure of the relationship in educational administrative institution. On the constituentive dimension, we observed that the various stakeholders who are interested in the independent college policy. Finally, we searched for future directions of the independent college centered on the process of legalization of independent colleges in technical dimension. The results of this analysis suggest the implications of the direction of China's independent college policy.

An Analysis of Educational Effectiveness of the Kazakhstan Intellectual School International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP) (카자흐스탄 영재학교(NIS)의 국제표준 고교교육과정(IBDP)에 대한 교육효과 분석 연구)

  • The modern world stands on the cusp of massive change in connection with the 4th industrial revolution. Following developed countries, developing countries also try to grow and keep up with the flow. Among them, trough the international cooperation government of Kazakhstan decided to include the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP) into the Nazarbayev Intellectual School(NIS) in April 2013. The goal of this study is to analyze the efficiency of introduction and implementation of the IBDP in the NIS and to consider the possibility of implementing this program in regular schools. To achieve the research goal, was applied the CIPP evaluation model(context - input - process - product) to assess IBDP program systematically. The analysis of empirical data collected due to the results of the international school system implementation, also in this study were used the results of questionnaires and interviews with the students and teachers who took part in the IBDP educational program. The results of the analysis showed that the average satisfaction of teachers and students who participated in IBDP was 3.64 points, however they pointed out the problems with management and organizations of the program, the establishment of a variety of subjects, recruitment of IBDP teachers etc. These measures would help to raise the status of school to the internationalization.

The Relationship between College Students' Team Learning Goal Orientation and Their Team Creativity: The Roles of Team Reflexivity, Team Efficacy, and Positive Group Affective Tone (대학생들의 팀 학습목표 지향성과 팀 창의성의 관계: 팀 성찰, 팀 효능감, 그리고 긍정적 집단 정서 분위기의 역할)

  • This study draws on goal orientation theory and proposes the team learning goal orientation as an antecedent of team creativity. In addition, an Input-Process-Output (IPO) model was adopted, in which the team reflexivity, team efficacy, and positive group affective tone (PGAT) are linking mechanisms in the relationship between team learning goal orientation and team creativity. Using 57 teams from three lectures of the college, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted at the team level. The results showed that the team learning goal orientation had positive associations with team creativity, team reflexivity, and team efficacy. In addition, team reflexivity and team efficacy positively predicted the team creativity. Furthermore, the relationship between team learning goal orientation and team creativity was mediated by the team reflexivity and team efficacy. In contrast to predictions, PGAT did not show significant relations with both team learning goal orientation and team creativity. In conclusion, this study integrated the team-learning goal orientation and team creativity literature and contributes to the understanding of team reflexivity as a cognitive process and team efficacy as a motivational process between the team property and team creativity. These results have practical implications for managing teams.

Fourth industrial revolution of Women's University Students and change of intelligent information technology

  • Universities are opening related majors and subjects to nurture the problem-solving fusion that businesses want. The time has come when rapid technological. On this thesis, we analyzed three years (2017-2019) of survey result of Women University students in order to figuring out and dealing with the change in 4th industrial revolution and intellectual information technology. It turns out that 1) there was an increase of interest in 4th industrial revolution from 59% in 2017 to 80% in 2019, 2) IoT, ICT, Artificial Intelligence, and Education Research System became top priority in technical strategy, 3)the prime keyword is AI, robot, job, 4)the expectation on increasing of the opportunity and the number of jobs in science technology field was 50%, 5)the importance of universities and companies was 50%, 80% each, 6) the information needed for science technology were educational discipline, change in future science, prospective future information in order, and 7)the most needed education were education on creativity, coding, cross-subject, engineering in order. In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, it is essential to expand the SW manpower base in various fields. University education, which should provide connectivity for super-fusion, should provide curriculum optimized for industrial demands such as, fusion and connected education, creative thinking, self-directed problem solving and etc.
