  • The strategic plan of nutrition education intervention was established to improve nutritional status and reduce nutrition-related diseases for Korean adults. Nutritional problems and risk factors of the nutrition-related diseases were identified to set the long-term goal and objectives for the intervention. The social learning theory and theory of diffusion of innovation served as theoretical basis for this plan. Mass media and interpersonal channels were used to educate the whole adult population and specific target groups. The outline of the educational contents was developed for the whole adult population and slightly modified according to characteristics of the target groups. This plan can serve as a guideline for the operational plans for the future nutrition education intervention.

  • Recently, the trend of open innovation and web 2.0 change the information portal services. The importance of using information demand analysis is emphasized in planning service strategy. The issues of the study are how we can figure out the demand and how we can use it in enhancing service level. This study aims at presenting the result of green technology information users' interests and the service enhancement directions. For the information types, additive functions, open innovation needs, the relation between users' organization, main job title, and the involved technological area are analysed. Among them, the involved technological area of the user is correlated to the needs, so we illustrate the meaning of planning service strategy according to the technological fields. The main contribution of the study can be the customized service strategy proposal using the users' demand which can be different from one technology field to another.

  • This study investigated how pre-service mathematics teaches' experience in microteaching influences their motivations toward teaching behaviors and changes by analyzing their teaching records and class reports. Although respondents planned to conduct various strategies pertaining to motivations, some of them were not used. Also, motivations toward their teaching behavioral changes leaded to positive aspects, but also leaded to negative ones. These findings imply that only two times microteaching experiences would not be sufficient to lead to positive teaching behavioral changes through their motivations. However, pre-service mathematics reported a high level of intention to change their teaching behavior through a comprehensive review process regarding their teaching. Therefore, teacher eduction institutions should develop well structured educational programs and apply them to pre-service mathematics teachers for a better understanding of their teaching and its review through motivations. In addition, providing opportunities for pre-service mathematics teachers to experience various educational programs including microteaching would be necessary for improving their teaching behavior through motivations.
