This paper describes a C-API (Cryptographic-Application program Interface) mechanism that can serve cryptographic service to one or more application programmers in an open distributed computing system. Generic cryptographic service, provides application Programmers with cryptographic algorithms and interfaces which can be shared so that the programmers can program distributed applications containing security services even though they have no detailed knowledge of cryptographic algorithms. Therefore, in this paper, a generic C-API mechanism is designed that can be used independently from various application environments and basic system structures so that programmers can use it commonly. This mechanism has the advantage that allows application programmers be able to use some cryptographic services and key management services not considering of the application program and operating system.

객체지향 프로그래밍의 발달과 필요성에 따라 분산된 통신망에도 객체지향 기술이 적용되는 분산객체 컴퓨팅이 새로운 버젼으로 대중화되고 있다 따라서 분산 객체간의 자원을 효율적으로 이용하고 다른 통신망의 사용자들과 원활한 통신을 하기 위해서는 자원의 공유가 필연적이다. 그러나 이러한 정보와 자원의 공유는 불완전한 통신 채널을 통해 이루어지기 때문에 불법적인 사용자들이 정보를 악용하는 보안상의 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문은 다양한 컴퓨팅 자원들이 통신망으로 연결되어 있는 개방형 분산 객체 컴퓨팅 환경에서 운영되는 컴퓨터 통신망의 정보를 보호하고 정당한 사용자에게 자원을 효율적으로 제공할 수 있는 인증 메카니즘으로 CORBA 환경에서 티켓을 사용하지 않은 Kerberos 인증을 제안하였다.

In this paper, We propose an efficient remote password authentication scheme that enables network users to access and open distributed network. Our authentication Scheme provides a pair of a center-supplied password and a user key for a network user. The center-supplied password is generated on the center, and the user key can be chosen by the network user. Each network user can access multiple centers through the open and distributed network by using single super smart card. The passwords generated by network centers are sent to the network users via secure channel, and put into their own supper smart card by themselves.

전력 계통에 연계하는 신재생에너지 분산형 전원의 보급량이 지속적으로 늘어나면서 저압 계통의 공통 연계점에 다수대의 PCS(Power Conditioning System)가 집중적으로 설치되는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 최근 일본전기공업회(JEMA)는 계통 사고나 계획 정전 등으로 변전소 차단기가 개방되었을 때, 복수대 PCS의 능동방식이 서로 간섭을 일으켜 정해진 시간 내에 단독운전 검출기능이 작동하지 않게 되는 상황을 방지하기 위해 표준형 단독운전 능동적 방식을 공표하였다. 본 논문에서는 일본 단독운전 검출방식의 표준으로 지정된 스텝주입이 있는 주파수피드백 방식의 원리와 특징을 살펴보고, 이를 적용하여 연계 보호기능의 안전성 확보와 분산형 전원 보급에 기여하는 효과에 대해 소개하였다.

This study intended to show the way of evolving 'National Geographic Information Clearinghouse' to 'National Integrated Geospatial Portal'. For this purpose we have analyzed Geospatial One-Stop Portal in the US and then suggested future model of National Geographic Information Clearinghouse. The Integrated Geospatial Portal model is based on the Reference Model for Open Distributed Processing(RM-ODP) which is an international model for information distribution and sharing. The Integrated Geospatial Portal architecture consists of the data layer, middle-ware, presentation layer. It will help users to determine their fitness for nation wide GIS application and provide tools for accessing, visualizing, or ordering various geospatial data.

본 논문은 개방형 분산 시스템에서 여러 분산 응용 프로그래머들에게 보안 서비스 제공을 위한 설계모델에 대하여 분석한다. 범용 보안 서비스는 응용 프로그래머에게 공통적으로 사용할 수 있는 암호 알고리즘 및 인터페이스를 제공함으로써 프로그래머가 암호 알고리즘을 알지 못하여도 보안 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 다양한 응용 환경 또는 시스템 하부 구조에 독립적으로 사용될 수 있는 범용 암호 서비스 구조를 설계하기 위하여 PKI, GSS-API 및 GCS-API를 중심으로 각각 관련된 요구사항과 설계 모델을 분석한다.

개방형 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에 관한 표준구조인 CORBA를 기반으로 하여 CORBA에서 보안 요구사항중 사용자가 자신의 시스템에 접근하는 것과 분산되어 있는 객체에 접근하기 위한 선결조건으로 인증을 수행하는 데 필요한 인증 메커니즘으로 본 논문에서는 분산환경을 위해 개발된 Kerberos 버전5의 사용과 이률 위한 보안 인터페이스로 GSS-API를 이용함으로 CORBA 보안요구를 만족하는 보안구조를 제시하고자 한다.

지리정보 및 이와 관련된 프로세스의 표준화를 위해서 구성된 OGC에서는 개방형 GIS를 구현하기 위한 방법으로 CORBA, COM, 그리고 SQL의 세 가지를 제시하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 세 가지 구현방안 중 CORBA 구현명세를 바탕으로 하는 분산객체GIS에 대한 구현모델을 제시하고, 제시된 구현모델에 대하여 JAVA와 VisiBroker를 이용하여 서버와 클라이언트 측면에서 구현하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The objective of this paper is to analyze requirements of distributed applications which use the different type of information and support the cooperative work environment between a group of persons in interactive mode, and to provide useful common services for the development of this kind of applications. For this, Interactive Cooperative Application Service as a horizontal service on the application layer and Session Management Service as a support service on the infrastructure layer were defined and designed using the concepts and rules of the Open Distributed Processing system. Application designers may use these services for building those applications which demand the requirements we have characterized in this paper.

The Information Technology has progressed to the open architecture, component, and multimedia services under Internet, ensuring interoperability, reusability, and realtime. The GIS is a system processing geo-spatial information such as natural resources, buildings, roads, and many kinds of facilities in the earth. The spatial information featured by complexity and diversity requires interoperability and reusability of pre-built databases under open architecture. This paper is for the development of component based open GIS Software. The goal of the open GIS component software is a middleware of GIS combining technology of open architecture and component ensuring interoperability of spatial information and reusability of elementary pieces of GIS software. The open GIS component conforms to the distributed open architecture for spatial information proposed by OGC (Open GIS Consortium). The system consists of data provider components, kernel (MapBase) components, clearinghouse components and five kinds of GIS application of local governments. The data provider component places a unique OLE DB interface to connect and access diverse data sources independent of their formats and locations. The MapBase component supports core and common technology of GIS feasible for various applications. The clearinghouse component provides functionality about discovery and access of spatial information under Internet. The system is implemented using ATL/COM and Visual C++ under MicroSoft's Windows environment and consisted of more than 20 components. As we made case study for KSDI (Korea Spatial Data Infrastructure) sharing spatial information between local governments, the advantage of component based open GIS software was proved. Now, we are undertaking another case study for sharing seven kinds of underground facilities using the open GIS component software.
