The Information Technology has progressed to the open architecture, component, and multimedia services under Internet, ensuring interoperability, reusability, and realtime. The GIS is a system processing geo-spatial information such as natural resources, buildings, roads, and many kinds of facilities in the earth. The spatial information featured by complexity and diversity requires interoperability and reusability of pre-built databases under open architecture. This paper is for the development of component based open GIS Software. The goal of the open GIS component software is a middleware of GIS combining technology of open architecture and component ensuring interoperability of spatial information and reusability of elementary pieces of GIS software. The open GIS component conforms to the distributed open architecture for spatial information proposed by OGC (Open GIS Consortium). The system consists of data provider components, kernel (MapBase) components, clearinghouse components and five kinds of GIS application of local governments. The data provider component places a unique OLE DB interface to connect and access diverse data sources independent of their formats and locations. The MapBase component supports core and common technology of GIS feasible for various applications. The clearinghouse component provides functionality about discovery and access of spatial information under Internet. The system is implemented using ATL/COM and Visual C++ under MicroSoft's Windows environment and consisted of more than 20 components. As we made case study for KSDI (Korea Spatial Data Infrastructure) sharing spatial information between local governments, the advantage of component based open GIS software was proved. Now, we are undertaking another case study for sharing seven kinds of underground facilities using the open GIS component software.

개방화 연구라는 것은 그 자체가 특정 제품을 구체적으로 개발하는 것이 아니라, 그 가능성 제공에 있음을 유의할 필요가 있다. 개방화 기술은 향후 새로운 기술장벽으로 작용할 수도 있으므로 우리나라도 관련 분야의 연구를 조직화하여 선진제국의 개방화 연구와 협력, 교류할 필요가 높아지고 있다. 참고로 일본의 OSEC II 프로젝트는 해외 연구기관 및 기업이 참여할 수 있도록 개방되어 있다고 한다.

이번 글은 '건축의 개방형시스템을 위한 표준화'의 최종회로서 "21세기를 대비한 표준화의 종합구성체계와 건축가의 중심적 역할"에 대하여 소개하였다. 특히 이 글은 국내 건설시장 개방과 급변화하는 국제조류에 능동적으로 대응하기 위한 중요한 수단으로써 표준화의 중요성과 필요성이 범정부적 차원에서 강조되고 있는 현실을 고려하였으며, "표준화의 종합구성체계"를 제시함으로써 다가올 21세기에 국제무대에서 한국의 주도적 역할을 적극 도모하고자 하였다.

이번 호부터는 '건축의 개방형시스템을 위한 표준화'에 대해 총 4회에 걸쳐 연재하고자 한다. 1회에서는 국내 표준화의 변천과정, 2회에서는 ISO를 비롯한 선진각국과 국내 표준화 추진현황 및 국제화에 대응한 표준화의 개념과 역할 등을 제안할 예정이다. 또한 3회에서는 건축의 개방형시스템을 구축하는데 있어서 중추적인 역할을 담당하는 표준화에 대한 국가적 차원의 추진목표와 실천전략을 종합하고 98년 9월부터 범용적으로 활용할 예정인 공공건축물 대상의 표준화설계에 관한 구체적인 활용방법에 대해서도 소개할 예정이다. 마지막으로 4회에서는 앞서 소개한 내용을 총체적인 관점에서 종합하여 향후 '건축사의 중심적 역할'에 대한 필자의 제언을 싣고자 한다.

By producing pre-engineered modular system in the factory, It is enable to expedite construction and can be distinguished from two types by the method resisting load. One is the open-sided modular system composed of beams and columns. The other is enclosed modular system composed of panels and studs. Of the modular systems, the open-sided modular system buildings the connection between modules are difficult due to closed member sections, and the overall strength is reduced as a result of local buckling. In this study, in order to solve these problems, a modular system with folded steel members filled with concrete are proposed. The capacity spectrum method presented in ATC 40 is used for seismic performance assessment of the proposed model structure and the structure with conventional steel members. The analysis results show that at the performance point of each model the number and rotation of plastic hinge formed in the proposed modular system are smaller than those in the conventional system. Based on this observation it is concluded that the proposed system with composite sections has superior seismic capacity compared with conventional system.

방송과 통신이 융합됨에 따라 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스가 출현하고 있으며 가정에서도 다양하고 질 좋은 홈서비스에 대한 요구가 증대하고 있다. 이러한 다양한 홈 서비스 환경을 제공하기 위해 지능형 홈네트워크 플랫폼이 제안되고 구축되고 있으나 댁내부의 홈게이트웨이나 홈서버 등의 가입자 장치를 통한 응용 프로그램만으로는 다양한 서비스 제공에는 한계가 있다. 따라서, 외부에서 제공되는 다양한 디지털 홈서비스를 사용자에게 편리하고 안전하게 전달하고 사용자의 개입 없이 외부의 서비스 제공자가 개발한 홈서비스를 제공 수 있는 개방형 서비스 관리 구조가 요구된다. 본고에서는 다양한 홈서비스가 서비스 제공자로부터 사용자 장치에 분배, 운용, 관리될 수 있는 환경인 개방형 디지털홈 서비스 분배관리 체계를 소개하고, 홈네트워크 상의 서비스 사용자 뿐 아니라, 외부에서 댁내의 서비스를 이용하고자 하는 사용자에게 편리하고 안전하게 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 디지털 홈 서비스 플랫폼인 분배관리시스템 플랫폼을 제안한다.

본고에서는 스마트TV 혁신이 가져오는 시장의 변화를 전망하기 위해 '파괴적 혁신 이론' 과 애플 사례를 논의한 후, 스마트TV 혁신이 시장에 미치는 영향을 제작 유통 시스템, 시장규모 측면으로 나누어 분석하였다. 스마트TV는 '폐쇄형'을 '개방형' 시스템으로 전환, 유통/제작자간 관계를 개선하고, 개방형 채널 및 VOD 도입으로 4년 후 전체 방송시장이 14조 9,800억 원으로 성장하고, 개방형 IPTV로 인한 확대금액만 약 4,623억 원으로 전망되며, 방송시장 매출액 중 PP 차지 비중도 2013년 44.1%까지 1.7%포인트 확대, 직접 창출되는 일자리는 4년간 약 4,676개로 추정된다. 이의 생산유발효과는 2조 3,995억 원, 부가가치 유발효과는 1조 260억 원으로 예측되었다. 또한, 스마트TV 전체에서 도입을 예정하고 있는 TV앱스토어도 4년간 3,606억 원의 누적수익을 창출하며, 직접 창출되는 일자리는 약 2,322개, 생산유발 효과는 6,681억 원, 부가가치유발효과는 3,226억 원, TV앱스토어와 초기투자에 의해 기대되는 소프트웨어 시장고용확대 효과는 누적 3,586개로 예측되었다.

In this study, we proposed the learning activities using open community systems to increase critical thinking and cooperative work. We designed and implemented the Wiki system that is an opened community and general Web-Board system that is a closed community. Then, elementary students had the critical essays activities using these systems. The results of the study are as follows. First, the critical thinking activities were happened more actively at the Wiki system than at the Web-Board system. And we found that the critical thinking dispositions were improved at the Wiki system after students performed the critical writing activities. The critical thinking activities also occurred more actively in cooperative groups than in studying individual groups. In conclusion, when the students learn with the open community like the Wiki system than closed community, it is hoped that they would participate actively and their critical thinking would be improved better.

Recently central and local governments developed a huge spatial database and system using full-scale Geographic Information System (GIS). But Inconsistent spatial data through duplicated database management drops off in efficiency and confidence of administration. It is difficult to share data because of their unique system and data type. Under these circumstances Ministry of Construction and Transportation (MOCT) has been carrying out Land Management Information System (LMIS) to computerize land administration and policy affairs and to implement land database such as law, spatial, attribute data. A prerequisite mission of LMIS is to develop open system for solving the problem of duplicated data management and data sharing and for supporting various computer environments such as hardware, software, network etc. The purpose of LMIS is to reuse the existing investment resources and to expand the existing system resources. Therefore the purpose of this study is to investigate a method of LMIS operation under the existing circumstances and expansion of the system in the future. To do this, Supporting various DBMS, GIS server, Distributing Computing Platform(Unix, NT Server) is needed. Especially LMIS need to be developed as open system with interoperability to get independence of application from various GIS servers.

최근 웹을 통한 지리정보의 공유 및 활용을 위한 웹 맵 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium)에서는 웹 맵 서비스를 위한 개방형 인터페이스 명세를 발표하고, ISO 표준으로 채택되기 위한 절차를 진행하는 등 가장 활발한 활동을 보이고 있다 본 연구에서는 개방형 웹 맵 서비스의 필요성과 OGC의 개방형 인터페이스 명세에 대해서 살펴보고, 국내의 웹 맵 서비스 표준화 연구로서 모바일 환경의 다양한 응용에 대해서 기존 OGC 표준안의 문제점을 해결 위해서 WMS 확장 인터페이스를 제안한다.
