Concept Analysis of Developmental Care for Preterm Infants: Hybrid Model (미숙아 발달지지간호에 대한 개념분석: 혼종모형)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to define and clarify the concept of developmental care for preterm infants. Methods: The hybrid model method was used to identify the main attributes and indicators. In the field work stage, data were collected in Seoul and Cheonan, Korea. The participants were 5 nurses working in the NICU. Results: The concept of developmental care was found to have six attributes and ten indicators in 2 dimensions. For the nursing practice dimension, four attributes were derived. They were being like intrauterine state, individualization, interaction, and integrative care with awareness of development. For the family centeredness dimension, supporting parental attachment and professional alliance were attributes of developmental care. Conclusion: Developmental focused care can facilitate the identification of behavioral responses of newborns and provide individualized interventions for fostering growth and development. This concept analysis could provide guidelines for "developmental care" nursing practice and be useful for research in the neonatal field.

Effects of Concept Change Teaching MSeoung-HeyPaikodel Considering Students' Learning Motivations (학습자의 학습 동기를 고려한 개념변화 수업 모형의 효과 분석)

  • The effects of three teaching models were compared in this research. One of those is concept change model, another is concept change model based on students learning motivations, the other is traditional teaching method based on science textbooks. The subjects of this research were the 8th grade students of Korean middle school. They were divided into three groups, and tested learning motivations. All of the three groups improved their learning motivations and concept understanding by the classes. Especially, the group of concept change model based on students learning motivations represented most effective improvement of learning motivations. The concept change teaching model and concept change teaching model based on students learning motivations are more effective in concept understanding than traditional teaching method based on textbooks. The students who have high learning motivations improved their concept understanding by the classes of concept change model based on students learning motivations. The students who have low learning motivations improved their learning motivations by the classes of concept change model based on students learning motivations also.

A Application of 'analysis of concept' for understanding moral concept in elementary school moral instruction (도덕적 개념 이해를 위한 '개념분석법'의 적용 방안)

  • A general sequence of moral instruction in elementary school is advanced to understanding of contents, application of understanding, reflection of application. The understanding of contents as first stage of instruction is related with abstract moral concepts. A model of concept analysis as one of the moral instruction models could be applied to understand on abstract moral concept. We can find rationale of that model from the 'analysis of concept' that is proposed by John Wilson. His 'analysis of concept' is thinking technique based on informal logics of ordinal language. These technique is constituted of 'Isolating questions of concept', 'Right answers', 'Model cases', 'Contrary cases', 'Related cases', 'Borderline cases', 'Invented cases', 'Social context', 'Underlying anxiety', 'Practical results', 'Results in language'. And these techniques could be categorized some of stages like finding a concept for analysis, finding a cases for understanding, concerning on the contexts about using context, concerning on the verification of defined concept. But it has difficulties that directly applicate these stages and technique to elementary school students. For instruction in elementary school, teacher should be translated these terms about each stages and technique to terms suited for students. And it is good for students that these activity can inspire students' interests. In this thesis, I'm trying to translate original terms about concept analysis technique to terms that elementary school students can understand. And then, I'm intending to propose of moral instruction method about truth telling as a example.

  • 상수관망의 수리해석기법은 demand-driven analysis(DDA)와 pressure-driven analysis(PDA)로 구분할 수 있다. 관거 파괴나 용수수요 급증과 같이 용수공급시스템이 비정상상태인 경우 절점의 용수수요는 항상 만족한다는 가정을 사용하는 DDA의 경우 비현실적인 결과를 줄 수 있으며, 절점수요와 절점수두를 동시에 고려하는 PDA의 개념을 이용한 관망의 수리해석이 필요하다. PDA의 개념을 사용하여 개발된 기존의 많은 모형들은 복잡한 실제관망에는 적용이 불가능한 문제점들을 가지고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 화음탐색법(Harmony Search, HS) EPANET의 toolkit을 연계하여 개발된 HSPDA모형의 실제 대규모 상수관망에의 적용성을 검토하였다. 실제 대규모관망에의 적용성 향상을 위해 화음탐색법의 새로운 인자인 PIR를 제안하였으며 적용결과 새롭게 제안된 PIR은 HSPDA모형의 최적해탐색효율을 획기적으로 향상시켰으며, HSPDA모형을 이용한 실제 대규모관망의 비정상상태 수리모의가 가능한 것으로 판단된다.

  • 고가의 생산장비를 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 방법을 제시하는 방법으로 일정계획은 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 일정계획을 수립하기 위한 방법으로 많은 방법이 적용되고 있지만 시뮬레이션은 일정계획의 수행도 분석에 중요한 기능을 담당한다. 그러나 일정계획의 분석에 있어서 적용되는 기존의 시뮬레이션 방법에는 대상 시스템을 모형화하기 위해 적지 않은 노력이 필요하고, 사용하는 시뮬레이션 프로그램의 사용 방법 및 모형 작성 방법에 대한 학습이 필요한 경우도 적지 않다. 본 논문은 일정계획을 시뮬레이션하기 위한 일정계획 시뮬레이터 개발에 대한 연구이다. 기존의 시뮬레이션 프로그램이 가지는 이벤트 개념 대신 상태 개념을 이용하여 시뮬레이터를 개발하는 방법을 제시하였다. 생산시스템에 대한 모형을 작성하고자 할 경우 특별한 프로그래밍 작업없이 대상시스템의 모형을 작성하도록 하여 보다 편리하게 모형을 작성하였다. 대상시스템에 대한 프로그램없이 대상시스템의 구성 정보와 주문 정보를 입력하여 우선 순위규칙에 의한 다양한 일정계획의 수행도를 분석하는 일정계획 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다.

워게임 모형의 C41 기능통합 및 연동화 시뮬레이션 기법

  • 최근 선진국들은 신규 워게임모형 개발시 장차전 개념을 반영하기 위하여 미래전자의 주요기능인 C4ISR 및 객체지향 기법을 적용하려고 노력하고 있다. 이러한 워게임 모형들은 현실과 같은 가상환경에서 합동작전을 모의할 수 있으며 전략, 작전 및 전술 수준을 모두 고려할 수 있고 지상전, 공중전, 해상전, 미사일전, 정보전 등 현대 전투개념을 모두 반영할 수 있도록 초대형 시뮬레이션 시스템으로 발전되고 있다. 본 고에서는 C4I 기능통합 및 연동화 모의 논리중에서 전략기동, 전술기동, 교전평가, 전략수송, 표적탐색, 미사일 판정을 위한 모의 기법과 초대형 시뮬레이션 시스템의 자료/명령 전달 구조 및 하드웨어/소프트웨어 사양, 구성 모듈등을 분석한다. 특히 현재 미 합참에서 개발중인 JWARS모형의 주요 객체들인 전투공간개체(BSE: Battle Space Entity), 아크-노드 네트워크, 화력 집중점(FCPs: Fire Concentration Points) 등을 살펴보고 현대전의 가장 큰 특징인 C4ISR/(Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) 분야에서 표적탐지, 통신, 정보 모의 기법을 분석함으로써, 향후 한국적 여건에 적합한 분석모형 개발 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Pre-Service Teachers' Understandings on Earth Science Concept needed for an Integrated Approach: Exploring Mental Models about Eclipse Phenomena by Analyzing Phenomenological Primitives and Facets (통합적 접근이 필요한 지구과학 개념에 대한 예비 교사의 이해: 현상론적 초안과 국면 분석을 통한 식 현상에 대한 정신모형 탐색)

  • This study explored pre-service teachers' mental models about eclipse phenomena to investigate their understandings on the earth science concept needed f3r an integrated approach. We conducted in-depth interviews with two different contexts on 30 secondary and 36 primary pre-service teachers participants, and analyzed phenomenological primitives (p-prims) and facets of causal explanations about eclipses. Based on this study, we identified four different levels of mental models about eclipses. Four mental models were categorized as (1) Screening model, (2) Orbital plane model, (3) Hybrid model, and (4) Shadow cast model. Screening model is a flawed mental model, orbital plane model is an incomplete correct mental model, and shadow cast model is a scientifically correct mental model. Hybrid model, composite of two or more mental models, use multiple mental models simultaneously. Orbital plane model was the most widespread mental model in secondary pre-service teachers group, whereas screening model was used frequently in primary group. It was found that the level of mental model could be determined by the level of facet and p-prims. We confirmed context sensitivity of the mental models and perceived the necessity of integrated approaches to promote progression of mental models. Implications of our findings for enhancing pre-service science teachers' topic-specific pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) associated with eclipse phenomena are also discussed here.

Channel Routing Model for Streamflow Forecasting (유출예측을 위한 하도추적 모형)

  • The purpose of this study is develope the algorithm of channel routing model which can be used for flood forecasting. In routing model, the hydrulic technique of the implicit scheme in the dynamic equation is chosen to route the unsteady varied flow. The channel routing model is connected with conceptual watershed model which is able to compute the flood hydrograph from each subbasin. The comparative study shows that the conceptual model can simulate the watershed runoff accurately. As a result of investigating the channel routing model, the optimal weighting factor $\theta$ which fixes two points between time line is selected. And also, the optimal error tolerance which satisfies computing time and converge of solution is chosen.

The Effects on Particulate Concept Formation Based on Abductive Reasoning Model for Elementary Science Class (귀추적 추론 모형을 적용한 초등 과학 수업의 입자 개념 형성 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects on particulate concept formation based on abductive reasoning model for elementary science class. For this study, an author selected two groups in the sixth grade. One group is an ordinary textbook-based control group (N=26) and the other group is an abductive reasoning model-based treatment group (N=26). After twelve lessons, the scores of Concepts Test for Gas were analyzed by t-test and two-way ANOVA. The result of t-test showed both the control and treatment groups have higher score than before they take the lesson. But after the lesson, an author found out that the treatment group had higher score than that of the control group. And compared to the number of particles expressed, the number of the treatment group were higher than that of the control class. The two-way ANOVA result revealed that the interaction effect between their cognitive level and treatment was not significant. And regardless of the level of cognition, the scores of treatment group are higher than those of control group. Therefore, abductive reasoning model-based elementary science class were found to be more effective for particulate concept formation. Based on the results, an author concluded that abductive reasoning model is very effective in teaching particulate concepts to elementary students.
