The effect of intellectual property education in College liberal arts course : Focusing on Analysis of Students' Perception Change (사범대학내 지식재산 교양 강좌 개설 및 운영 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to elucidate the necessity of opening a lecture on intellectual property education by confirming the effect of the lecture on intellectual property education in the college students. For the study, IP program was developed for the course through literature review, and supplemented it with expert review. The developed course program was applied to 39 students for 15 weeks. In order to verify the effectiveness of the lecture, the survey was performed. And analysis method for the concept change analysis and the keyword formation analysis were performed. For the analysis, SPSS 24, UCINET and Netdraw were used. The results were as follows. First, the lecture on intellectual property education positively changed the value, necessity, and perception of intellectual property to the students. Second, the students of the lecture on intellectual property education responded that the lecture on the intellectual property should be increased. Third, through the lecture on intellectual property education, students formed basic concept about intellectual property centered on key word. The intellectual property lecture program developed and applied in this study is difficult to apply to all university situations, but it is expected to be referenced in the establishment and operation of related lectures and to be derived in various forms.

A Study on the Operation Plans for Seongnam Public Library Programs in the Post-COVID-19 Era (포스트 코로나 시대 성남시 도서관의 문화프로그램 운영 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest operation plans for library programs in preparation for the post-COVID-19 by analyzing the current status of library programs before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 based on the data of the Seongnam public libraries on the Public Data Portal. So, based on 1,317 data collected through the data purification process for duplicates and errors in the files uploaded by Seongnam City, ①programs' subject & type, ②program target users, ③program operation types(online or offline), ④program operating time & number of days, ⑤characteristics of programs preferred by users etc. were analyzed. As results of the analysis, online programs were not operated at all before COVID-19, but online programs started to be operated in earnest after August 2020. Also, there were many experiential activity lectures for infants and elementary school students in 2019, but reading activity lectures for adults and elementary school students increased in 2020. There were many types of online lectures, such as real-time lectures using online video conferencing programs, YouTube video viewing & live broadcasting, and the use of Naver Band & Cafe.

전통방식의 강좌와 가상강좌의 학습성취 비교에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 전통적인 방식의 강좌와 웹을 기반으로 하는 가상강좌를 수강하는 학습자 학습성취에 차이점이 있는지를 실증적인 비교를 통하여 확인하고자 한다. 동일한 과목을 전통방식의 강좌와 가상강좌 두 가지로 개설하고, 이를 수강하는 학습자 집단 각각의 학습성취 척도인 시험성적을 집계한 후, 두 집단간 차이점이 통계적인 유의성을 가지는가를 보고자 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 전통방식의 강좌와 가상강좌간의 학습성취를 비교하기 위한 효과적인 연구모형 설계에 도움이 될 것으로 본다.

  • As a dual-degree program/exchange student program becomes widespread, the faculty and students consisting of a course are being globalized. Recently, there has been an online or blended learning-based course, which is evolved from a conventional offline course. However, the course has no consideration of a dual-degree program or exchange student program because it is limited to a domestic university. To create and manage a global course, there have several of difficulties in the aspects of cost or effectiveness. As a solution to tackle them, it is necessary to do research on providing blended global courses with a fusion approach of online and offline. In this paper, we studied and presented a model of blended global courses. To create and maintain overseas scholar-oriented courses, we devised eight types of blended global courses depedning on their opening time and the cooperative relation between online and offline and made their comparative analysis. The blended global course proposed in this paper can be applied to cultivating global human resources in universities.

A study on English-medium instruction programs in Korean universities: Based on the importance of English for academic purposes programs (국내 대학의 영어강의 사례 연구 : EAP과정의 중요성을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate ways to improve the effect of English-medium instruction (EMI) in Korean universities by comparing EMI lectures in two Korean universities with those in a Japanese university. Some universities run all courses in English while others do so for only part of them. This study comparatively investigated how EMI courses were run by these two groups of universities. For the purpose of this study, in-depth interviews were conducted with EMI instructors and students to find out what merits and problems that such EMI programs had in EFL environment of Korea and Japan. Another important goal was to correct problems and improve the Korean programs. The result showed that the most important issue of EMI programs in Korean universities was students' low English proficiency. It also demonstrated that English for Academic Purposes (EAP) was necessary to overcome this problem. It is a key to the success of MI programs. Hopefully, this study will stimulate continuous discussions on limitations and ways to improve EMI in Korean universities in various aspects.

교사양성대학에서의 이산수학 교육과정

  • 교육과정은 그 시대에 적합한 요구들을 반영하여야 한다. 제 7차 수학과 교육과정에서 이산수학의 도입이 바로 정보화 시대의 반영이라고 볼 수 있다. 즉, 이산수학의 도입은 수학의 변화가 수학교육의 변화로 이어졌다는 점에서 긍정적으로 평가할 수 있다. 그러나 새로운 내용의 교육과정 도입은 충분한 검증 절차의 부재로 인하여 부정적인 측면도 나타날 수 있다. 예를 들어, 교사양성 대학에서 이미 오래 전부터 개설되어진 해석학이나 대수학 같은 강좌와는 달리 이산수학의 강좌는 비교적 최근에 개설되어 졌으므로 대부분의 현장교사들은 이산수학 내용에 대한 지식이 거의 없다는데 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 바탕으로 우선, 교사양성 대학교육과정에서의 이산수학에 대한 충분한 연구와 우리 현실에 맞는 교재의 재구성이 요구되어진다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 7차교육과정을 고려하여, 교사양성 대학에 적합한 이산수학 강좌에 대한 구체적인 예들을 제시하여 사범대학 학생들로 하여금 이산수학을 제대로 이해하고, 아울러 이러한 연구가 현직 교사연수에도 충분히 반영될 수 있도록 한다.

Analysis of Status and Features for Lecture-type Programs of the Public Libraries in Seoul (서울시 공공도서관 강좌교육 운영 현황 및 특징에 관한 분석)

  • This study aims to evaluate status and features of lecture-type programs run by public libraries in Seoul. It is examined the current state and features of lecture-type programs of public libraries in Seoul for recent 6 years and also examined the topic, the target user specific trends and their changes based on this feature. The results showed that the number of lecture-type programs were decreased and, it was found that the programs were operated with a specific target users for each of them. The lecture-type programs were analyzed by subject categories and the characteristics were presented based on the subjects. It is concluded that careful planning and operations required for lecture-type programs since they could provide a good opportunity for the library with the potential users of it.

  • MOOC 강좌개설을 위한 강의콘텐츠를 교내에서 자체적으로 제작한 과정을 통해 나타난 강의편수와 수업시간의 배분을 살펴보았다. 순천대학교의 MOOC 강의목차와 일본 J-MOOC를 실행중인 대학들의 강의목차를 비교함으로써 MOOC 강좌목차 구성을 위한 새로운 패러다임의 필요성을 논의한다.

A study on equating method based on regression analysis (회귀분석에 기초한 균등화 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Most of universities have carried out course evaluation to apply the performance appraisal for professor. But, course evaluation depends on characteristics of each class such as class size, type of lecture, evaluator's grade and so on. As the results, such characteristics of each class lead to serious bias which makes lecturers distrust the course evaluation results. Hence, we propose a equating method for the course evaluation by regression analysis which use stepwise variable selection. And we compare proposed method with the other method by Cho et al. (2009) with respect to efficiencies. Also we give the example to which the method is applied.
