This study aims to evaluate status and features of lecture-type programs run by public libraries in Seoul. It is examined the current state and features of lecture-type programs of public libraries in Seoul for recent 6 years and also examined the topic, the target user specific trends and their changes based on this feature. The results showed that the number of lecture-type programs were decreased and, it was found that the programs were operated with a specific target users for each of them. The lecture-type programs were analyzed by subject categories and the characteristics were presented based on the subjects. It is concluded that careful planning and operations required for lecture-type programs since they could provide a good opportunity for the library with the potential users of it.

멀티미디어와 인터넷 등으로 대표되는 컴퓨터 기술의 발달로 가능하게 된 교육 분야의 변화는 사이버 교육이라는 새로운 교육 방법을 제시하였고, 이 새로운 교육 형태는 현존하는 교육환경에 대한 대안으로써 주목을 받고 있다. 사이버 교육이 성공적으로 운영되기 위하여 고려해야 할 중요한 요인들이 있다. 이 논문에서는 사이버 강좌 주요 구성 요소 파악, 분석하고, 이 요소들을 바탕으로 사이버 강좌의 제작법을 제시하였다. 또한, 제작된 사이버 강좌를 수강한 학생들에 대한 설문 조사를 통하여 사이버 강좌 주요 구성 요소에 대한 실증적 검증을 하였다.

Cyber lectures were expected to replace the traditional classroom lecture, yet they were criticized due to the inefficiency. With educational technology supplemented, cyber lectures have improved their efficiency through the coherence of superior planning ability and improvement in computer and network technology. This paper's purpose is to understand the factors that improve educational efficiency of cyber lectures. Cyber lecture for IT subject for software practice is created to test the educational efficiency as lecture on theories will not distinctively show the lecture efficiency. The survey was conducted to students and statistical analysis was done on collected data to analyze the factors that influence educational efficiency of created lecture.

가상 강좌가 활성화되고 양적으로 팽창하고 있는 현재 고려되어야 할 문제는 off-line 교육이 가지는 교육의 질을 인터넷 상으로 구현되는 Cyber 강좌가 동등하게 전달할 수 있는 가이다. 특히, 실험 실습이 필요한 교과목을 가상 강좌로 제작, 운영할 수 있는 가는 연구의 대상이다 본 논문에서는 실험 실습이 필요한 IT 교양 교과목을 위한 가상 강좌를 운영함에 있어서 필요한 제작 기술을 제시하였고, 제작된 가상 강좌의 질적인 문제를 실제 운영을 바탕으로 설문 조사를 하여 파악하였다.

The study is on the types, contents, characteristics, and levels of lifelong education programs from 16 central and local public libraries in Korea. And also analyzes the situation and the results of learning purpose, educational content and teaching methods from 4 public libraries of Ulsan province. On the basis of the results, suggests for the improvement proposals of lifelong education programs in Korean public libraries as follows ; (1) proposes the differentiation and establishment of system for the programs. (2) presents the model development for the evaluation of the educational programs.

As a promising alternative for the traditional educational system, the cyber education is in the spotlight of both educators and computer scientists. There are many advantages of online education to the students and to the institution such as easy and random accessibility, low cost, saving spaces in the institutions, and so on. or a successful online education, some important factors would be considered in constructing cyber lectures. The purposes of this paper are to investigate students'viewpoints, called factors, of the cyber class and analyze these factors to be an effective cyber class. Once factors are identified, we trace the change of the student assessments on the identified factors during the class. Using these factors, we also examine if there are any differences on the assessment of the cyber class according to student background, such as gender. major, and class.

현재 각 대학의 사범대학에서는 저마다의 교과과정에 의하여 기하교육을 하고 있다. 해석학이나 대수학에 비하여 매우 다양하게 운영되고 있는 기하학 강좌 내용에 대하여 우선 몇 군데 대학에서의 기하학개론 및 미분기하학 강좌 내용을 비교하고, 교사 양성기관에서의 기하학 개론과 미분기하학 강좌에서 다루어야 할 필수 요소를 알아보고자 한다.

This paper deals with disparities in course evaluation between general and major courses of mathematics education. We provide concrete evidences which verify the mismanagement of the evaluation system and can be an impetus to a more rational one. We indicate the direction to which professors of mathematics education should head. Also those statistics obtained from the author's teaching of mathematics education and related subjects for twelve years are provided for the fact-finding of and improving the erroneous evaluation system.

사이버 교육 시스템 기반을 구축하기 위한 일련의 연구의 한 부분으로써, 새로이 개발된 컴퓨터 기술들이 현 가상 교육 시스템과 어떻게 융합되어 더 나은 사이버 교육 시스템을 구축할 것인가를 제시한다. 많은 IT 교육이 사이버를 통하여 이루어지고 있으나, 이는 이론 교육과는 달리 컴퓨터를 이용한 실습이 필요한 경우가 많다. 한성대학교에서 실시한 가상 강좌의 운영 경험을 제시한다. 기존 강좌와 비교하여 전산 교육을 위한 가상 강좌의 문제점과 그 개선점을 제안하고자 한다.

Sookmyung Women's University Library developed a Cyber Learning Program for Information Literacy Education in the Fall semester of 2004. The program was enforced as a pass/fail prerequisite of the "Reading & Writing", a compulsory course for the first-year students. The paper describes why and how the university reached to the decision to initiate such a program. It identifies the factors which contributed to the early success of the program by analyzing the contents development process and the actual course management process. Suggestions for further developments is made by analyzing the technical and procedural difficulties faced using the Learning Management System(LMS).
