  • In this paper, we propose a ADALINE controller using fuzzy-backpropagation algorithm to adjust weight. In the proposed ADALINE controller, using fuzzy algorithm for traning neural network, controller make use of ADALINE due to simple and computing efficiency. And then it applies to servo-motor as an controlled process. And then it take a simulation for the position control, so the verify the usefulness of the proposed ADALINE controller.

Structural Characteristic Analysis of a High-Precision Centerless Grinding Machine with Concrete-Filled Bed (콘크리트 층진 베드를 적용한 초정밀 무심 연삭기의 구조 해석)

  • A high-precision centerless grinding machine has been recognized as a core equipment performing the finish outer-diameter grinding process of ferrules which are widely used as fiber optic connectors. In this study, in order to realize the high-precision centerless grinding machine, the structural characteristic analysis and evaluation are carried out on the virtual prototype consisted of the steel bed, hydrostatic GW and RW spindle systems, hydrostatic RW feed mechanism, RW swivel mechanism, and on-machine GW and RW dressers. The loop stiffnesses of centerless grinding machine are estimated based on the relative deformations between GW and RW caused by the grinding forces. And the simulated results illustrate that the concrete-filled bed has the considerable effect on the improvement of the structural stiffness of centerless grinding machine.

  • Abnormal cab vibrations in the Y direction in commercial vehicles during driving(70~90kph) are not common vibrations that happen to vehicles during driving and can be an obstacle to normal driving. This study conducted Operation Deflection Shape(ODS) testing to identify the causes of those abnormal cab vibrations and find solutions for them and also a sine sweep test to find resonance and frequency in the cab suspension system and set directions for improvement. The study also altered the shape of the bush inner part for changes to the rigidity features of the cab bush in the Y direction and revised the design with optimal rigidity in the Y direction, thus improving abnormal cab vibrations in the Y direction during driving.

  • Rectification 은 서로 다른 시점에서 얻은 두 영상을 동일한 평면에 투영시키는 호모그래피를 적용하여 원 영상의 에피폴라 라인을 수평방향으로 정렬시키는 과정이다. 이때 호모그래피에 의해 변환된 영상 사이에서도 에피폴라 제약조건이 성립해야 하며, 이를 만족시키는 호모그래피가 여러 개 존재하므로 제약조건을 추가하여 응용에 적합한 호모그래피를 구하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 Rectification 결과를 객체분할에 이용하기 위해, 원 영상과 유사한 결과를 얻을 수 있는 호모그래피를 구하도록 하였다. 기존의 방법은 복잡한 과정을 거쳐 최종적으로 구한 호모그래피를 적용한 후에도 결과 영상을 얻기 위해서 입력 영상에 따라 크기와 위치를 재조정해야 한다는 문제가 있는 반면, 제안한 알고리즘은 크기나 위치에 대한 조정 과정이 필요 없으므로 어느 영상에나 동일하게 적용할 수 있다. 제안한 방법으로 원 영상과 유사하고 원 영상 사이의 변위 값을 유지하고 있는 결과영상을 얻을 수 있었으며 이를 객체분할에 적용하였다.

  • 최근 승용차의 설계는 일반적으로 고속화, 경량화 추세에 있다. 이에 따라 심각하게 대두되고 있는 것이 진동문제로서, 그중에서도 조향계(steering system)의 진동은 보다 쾌적한 승차감 내지 조정성능을 저해하고 운전자에게 불쾌감을 초래하는 진동으로서 이에 대한 개선책이 요구되어 왔다. 따라서 이러한 조향계의 진동인 쉬미(shimmy)현상을 저감시키기 위해서는 다음과 같은 방법등이 있다. 1) 가진원이 되는 타이어의 불균형 질량을 줄이거나 타이어의 정밀도를 증가시키는 방법. 2) 진동전달 경고상의 감쇠특성과 조향계의 강성을 변화시켜 전달률을 줄이는 방법. 3) 차체의 동특성 변화를 통하여 고유진동수를 변화시켜 공진영역을 옮기는 방법. 이 글에서는 쉬미에 큰 영향을 줄 것으로 생각되어지는 여러 중요한 인자들을 단계적으로 포함 시켜가면서 이론해석 결과와 실험결과를 비교 . 검토 . 보완해갈 것이며, 그 결과 이론적으로 쉬미현상을 예측할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 최근 몇 년간 무인항공기(UAV) 시장이 점차 커지면서 군뿐만 아니라 민간, 상업적으로도 무인항공기의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이에 무인항공기의 한 종류인 에어드론(AR.Drone)을 활용한 실시간 원격 쿼드로터(Quadrotor) 퓨전제어기법을 제안하였다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 아이폰(i-phone) 기반의 제어기법이 아닌, 안드로이드(Android) 기반의 퓨전제어기법을 통하여 에어드론을 실시간으로 원격조정가능하게 했는데, 이는 아이폰 App 개발 시 제공되는 API와 PC 기반의 쿼드로터 제어기법을 퓨전하는 방식으로 쿼드로터의 비행제어와 영상처리를 분리시켜 기존의 방식보다 영상처리 속도를 향상시키는 방식이다. 그리고 제안된 퓨전제어기법의 우수성을 보여주기 위해, 기존의 방식들과 영상처리 속도를 비교분석하였다.

Drape Simulation Estimation for Non-Linear Stiffness Model (비선형 강성 모델을 위한 드레이프 시뮬레이션 결과 추정)

  • In the development of clothing design through virtual simulation, it is essential to minimize the differences between the virtual and the real world as much as possible. The most critical task to enhance the similarity between virtual and real garments is to find simulation parameters that can closely emulate the physical properties of the actual fabric in use. The simulation parameter optimization process requires manual tuning by experts, demanding high expertise and a significant amount of time. Especially, considerable time is consumed in repeatedly running simulations to check the results of applying the tuned simulation parameters. Recently, to tackle this issue, artificial neural network learning models have been proposed that swiftly estimate the results of drape test simulations, which are predominantly used for parameter tuning. In these earlier studies, relatively simple linear stiffness models were used, and instead of estimating the entirety of the drape mesh, they estimated only a portion of the mesh and interpolated the rest. However, there is still a scarcity of research on non-linear stiffness models, which are commonly used in actual garment design. In this paper, we propose a learning model for estimating the results of drape simulations for non-linear stiffness models. Our learning model estimates the full high-resolution mesh model of drape. To validate the performance of the proposed method, experiments were conducted using three different drape test methods, demonstrating high accuracy in estimation.

Updating of Finite Element Models Including Damping (감쇠를 포함한 유한요소 모형의 개선)

  • Finite element models are updated in two stages in this paper. In the first stage, damping is neglected, and mass and stiffness matrices of a finite element model are updated using an optimization technique. The objective function for optimization consists of natural frequencies and mode shapes obtained from experimental modal testing data and finite element analysis. In the second stage, damping is considered with the mass and stiffness matrices fixed. A damping matrix is estimated assuming a proportional damping system. Then the damping matrix is adjusted using an optimization process so that the difference between the analytical and measured frequency response functions becomes minimum. This procedure of model updating has been applied to a simulated system and an experimental cantilever beam.

Evaluation of Flexural Behavior of a Modular Pier with Circular CFT (충전원형강관을 이용한 모듈러 교각의 휨 거동 평가)

  • A new modular pier system using concrete filled circular steel tubes was suggested to realize modular bridge substructures for accelerated bridge construction. Structural details and connection details were proposed by connection multiple concrete filled tubes (CFT) for standardized products of fabrication, delivery and erection. Static tests were performed for the modular pier with suggested details under lateral load conditions for weak and strong axes. Due to the eccentricity by the bracing system, the modular pier showed 5.23 times higher flexural stiffness and 6 times greater flexural strength from the test. It is proper for the rational design to evaluate stress and deformation by frame modeling of the modular CFT pier. Structural capacity of the pier can be obtained by adjusting the spacing of the CFT columns. Design recommendations were derived from the test.
