A Distributed Algorithm to Update Spanning Tree and Strongly-Connected Components (생성트리와 강결합요소의 갱신을 위한 분산 알고리즘)

  • Considers the problem to update the spanning tree and strongly-connected components in response to topology change of the network. This paper proposes a distributed algorithm that solves such a problem after several processors and links are added and deleted. Its message complexity and its ideal-time complexity are O(n'log n'+ (n'+s+t)) and O(n'logn') respectively where n'is the number of processors in the network after the topology change, s is the number of added links, and t is the total number of links in the strongly connected component (of the network before the topology change) including the deleted links.

  • 거대한 웹 컨텐츠 안에는 수많은 링크들로 인한 순환들이 존재하게 된다. 그 순환들은 강하게 뭉쳐있는 실타래 처럼, 강하게 결합한 순환들의 덩어리 형태로 존재하게 된다. 웹 컨텐츠는 흔히 방향그래프로 표현되는데, 즉 웹 컨텐츠에서 나타나는 수많은 링크둘을 방향그래프에서 강결합요소를 이용하면 모든 순환을 효율적으로 발견할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 강결합요소를 이용하여 거대한 그래프에서 보다 효율적으로 모든 순환을 찾아낼 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다.

  • This paper describes a navigation system design for horizontal position estimation using inertial measurement sensors and celestial navigation. In space, stars are widely spread objects in the celestial sphere and have been used mainly to obtain attitude information through star observation. However, it is also possible to obtain information about the horizontal position with the altitude of the star. It is called celestial navigation which is the same principle that former navigators used to locate themselves while sailing on the sea. In particular, in deep space where GPS is not available, it is important to obtain information on the location by making use of stars that are relatively easy to observe. Therefore, we introduce a navigation system that can estimate horizontal position and design two types of systems, loosely coupled and tightly coupled depending on how the measurements are utilized. It is intended to help in the future design of navigation system using celestial navigation by simulation studies that not only verify whether the system correctly estimates horizontal position but also comparing the performance of loosely and tightly coupled methods.

  • This paper addresses the performance comparisons of the GPS pseudorange and pseudorange rate measurements in the tightly coupled INS/GPS Navigation systems. Even though the two measurements have the same ability in estimating level attitude errors, pseudorange rate has an advantage in improving estimating heading attitude error performance. The performance of pseudorange and pseudorange rate measurements is compared in numerical simulations and van test.

  • This paper considers the performance of tightly-coupled GPS/INS integration using total-state UKF (Unscented Kalman Filter) for multipath error. In the city canyon there exists large multipath error and it may happen that GPS satellites are seen only three or less. For these situations simulations show that the performance of total-state UKF is better than that of EKF in the presence of multipath error. The total-state UKF shows robust performance for multipath error.

  • Piles of a bridge pier are connected with the column through the pile cap (footing). Behavior of the pile foundation can be different according to the connection method between piles and the pile cap. Connection methods between pile heads and the pile cap are divided into two groups : rigid connections and hinge connections. Domestic design code has been specified to use rigid connection method for the highway bridge. In the rigid connection method, maximum bending moment of a pile occurs at the pile head and this helps the pile to prevent the excessive displacement. Rigid methods are also good to improve the seismic performance. However, some specifications prescribe that conservative results through investigations of both the fixed-head condition and the free-head condition should be reflected in the design. This statement may induce an over-estimated design for the bridge which has high-quality structures with casing covered drilled shafts and the PC-house contained pile cap. Because the assumption of free-head conditions (hinge connections) is unreal for the elevated pile cap system with multiple piles of the long span sea-crossing bridges. On the other hand, elastic displacement method to evaluate the pile reactions under the pile cap is not suitable for this type of bridges due to impractical assumptions. So, full modeling techniques which analyze the superstructure and the substructure simultaneously should be performed. Loads and stress state of the large diameter drilled shaft and the pile cap for Incheon Bridge which will be the longest bridge of Korea were investigated through the full modeling for rigid connection conditions.

  • In this paper, the implementation of a tightly coupled real-time GPS/INS integrated system is discussed. The hardware is developed for any GPS receiver and any IMU. The navigation software is modularized by tasks, so that can be easily modified when the integrated system is restructured. A van test was performed to show the feasibility of the proposed system.

  • 1차부터 3차에 이르는 국가지리정보체계 사업을 추진해 오는 동안 가장 큰 결과물 중의 하나가 정부 부처들이 각기 구축한 산림, 지적, 토지이용 등과 같은 공간정보 데이터베이스들이다. 이들 데이터베이스의 공유를 통해 자원효율성을 높이기 위해서는 연계 통합 방안이 필요하다. 본 연구는 데이터베이스의 물리적 통합(강결합 방식)이 아니라, 약결합방식에 의한 데이터베이스 연계시스템을 통해 통합서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 데이터베이스 연계 중요성이 증가하는 시점에서 다양한 요구에 대응하는 데이터를 생성 관리함으로서 정보의 재사용성을 증가시키고, 정보의 최신성을 유지시킨다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Error Correction of a Low-Cost Hybrid Navigation System (저가형 혼합항법시스템의 오차보정)

  • In this study, a hybrid navigation system with a low-cost GPS Receiver plus Gyro and Odometer is developed and tested. This hybrid navigation system adopted a modified coupling method which can be distinguished from tightly coupled method or loosely coupled method, so that GPS receivers or Gyros or Odometers can be chosen arbitrary. Comparing to the existing hybrid navigation system, the test results show that this navigation system enhances the accuracy and is robust against the multipath error. It is also proven that this system has an advantage of acquiring GIS data for post processing.

결합부 특성을 고려한 대형 연삭기 구조물의 동특성 해석

  • 공작기계 등과 같이 복잡한 대형 구조물의 구조해석에 있어서 결합부요소의 강성과 질량특성을 모델링하는 일반적 인 방법이 없는 실정이므로 어려움이많다. 본 연구에서는 공작기계에서 흔히 쓰이는 Slide-way contact joint 결 합부를 등가의 강성행렬 요소(Generalized stiffness matrix element)로 모델링하는 방법을 제안하였다.. 기존의 유 한용소 해석법 프로그램을 이용하여 결합부 유한요소 모델의 유연도계수(Flexibility influence coefficients)를 계산하고 Guyan의 정축약이론을 이용하여 등가의 강성행렬요소로 축약시키는 방법이다. 제안된 방법을 대형 평면연 삭기 구조해석에 적용하고, 그 결과를 강결합 모델의 결과 및 Yoshimura의 등가스프링결합부 모델을 사용한 경우의 결과와 비교하므로써 본 연구에서 제안한 결합부 모델링 방법의 유용성을 확인하였다.
