PCAOB conducts the direct supervision for the PCAOB registered accounting firm. Therefore, if an accounting firm is registered with the PCAOB, it will thoroughly manage for their quality management systems. The registered auditor can be expected to have better quality of the audit. This study carried out the analysis using the audit fee which proxies for audit quality. The results of analysis are as follows. After controlling for foreign accounting firms affiliated status, company size, risky assets, leverage, ROA, and market-related variables, PCAOB is a significant explanatory variable for the audit fees. The results of this study support the hypothesis that PCAOB-registered auditors will provide a good audit quality.

In the construction project, construction supervisor influences greatly the construction managements such as process management, quality management, safety management, and cost management. Therefore, from the first stage of the project, the managing activities of the supervisor are consistently needed. But the assesment of supervisor's work and cost has not been made enough in the public construction project. And there have been doubts as to whether a supervisor can take a consistent managing activity from the early stage of the project. Accordingly, the works between Korean supervisor and foreign supervisor in their public corporations are analyzed and compared in this paper. And the evaluation is made each of the cost for supervisor and the cost for engineer as a substitute of supervisor in construction project. This study is believed to contribute to improving the supervisor's work and reducing the personnel expenses and construction indirect cost.

This paper analyzes quality management of aviation safety services in Korea and proposes practical implications for improvement. We look into how quality management is conducted in the Korean aviation industry and confirm aviation authority's efforts for a quality management system. We also compare and analyze international standard ISO 9001 and aviation safety oversight system quality management cases of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with a Korean case. Results find the difference in defining the scope of ISO 9001 management between ICAO/FAA and the Korean authority which causes unnecessary misunderstanding in oversight perception. The Korean aviation authority strives to provide a high level of safety oversight services by educating aviation safety inspectors as well as establishing a quality management system. We believe that our proposals can help Korean aviation safety oversight system secure objective credibility and seek a safe growth and development of the aviation industry.

The construction supervisors of the public companies are usually responsible for process management, quality management, safety management, and many other various tasks that occur during construction project. Public companies such as Korea Highway Corporation have developed a framework and manual for management and supervision of construction projects. But, there has been the change of business environment such as increase of private investment project and the introduce of construction management system recently. It has been necessary for construction supervisor to streamline the current project management system in the owner's aspect in order to cope with the expected new challenges. Accordingly, this research has been investigated and analyzed the operation system between Korean supervisor and foreign supervisor in their public corporation. This research has suggested the advanced project management in their public corporation. Especially, this study has proposed the construction management manual for supervisors such as inspectors training, supervisors construction manual, and supervisors training road map.

개체명 인식은 문서에서 개체명을 추출하고 추출된 개체명의 범주를 결정하는 작업이다. 기존의 지도 학습 기법을 이용한 개체명 인식을 위해서는 개체명 범주가 수동으로 부착된 대용량의 학습 말뭉치가 필요하며, 대용량의 말뭉치 구축은 인력과 시간이 많이 들어가는 일이다. 본 논문에서는 학습 말뭉치 구축비용을 최소화하고 초기 학습 말뭉치의 노이즈를 제거하여 말뭉치의 품질을 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 반자동 개체명 사전 구축 방법으로 구축한 개체명 사전과 원거리 감독법을 사용하여 초기 개체명 범주 부착 말뭉치를 구축한다. 그리고 휴리스틱을 이용하여 초기 말뭉치의 노이즈를 제거하여 학습 말뭉치의 품질을 향상시키고 개체명 인식의 성능을 향상시킨다. 실험 결과 휴리스틱 적용을 통해 개체명 인식의 F1-점수를 67.36%에서 73.17%로 향상시켰다.

특별관리임산물의 관리·감독을 위하여 법률을 바탕으로 품질관리제도를 마련하고 있으며, 현재 문서를 통해 관리하고 제도적인 신뢰에 의존하는 방식에 머물러 있다. 이는 많은 비용을 발생시키며, 제도를 악용하는 사기 사례가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 블록체인을 이용한 특별관리임산물 품질관리 시스템을 제안한다. 해당 시스템은 품질 관리를 위한 문서를 법률에 따른 양식에 따라 전자문서로 생성하고, 문서 정보를 분산장부에 저장하여 누구나 확인 할 수 있도록 한다. 전자 문서들은 기관의 데이터베이스에 보관하여 확인 할 수 있도록 하며, 분산장부의 문서 정보 등록 이력을 통해 품질관리 이력을 추적하고 검증할 수 있도록 한다.

비전 기반의 재활용-PET 선별공정에서, PET 외 물체와의 식별 성능은 물론 PET 용기 내 포함된 이물질 및 라벨, 뚜껑의 존재 여부, 색상에 대한 검출 성능은 재활용 소재 품질에 중요한 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 비전 인공지능 기반의 재활용-PET 자동 선별 시스템을 제안하고, 인공지능 모델의 제작에서 감독학습의 학습 효과를 최적화하기 위한 데이터 레이블링 기법을 제안한다. 재활용대상 PET 와 이물질 파트가 포함된 용기의 컨베이어벨트 선별공정 혼입을 재현한 실험을 통해서, 재활용 소재화 물량과 순도를 최대화하기 위한 인공지능 모델 생성 방법에 대해 고찰한다.
