  • 수산물 가공 중에 생성되는 부산물은 어체의 두부, 어피, 내장, 뼈 등으로 전 어체의 절반 가까이 차지하고 있으므로 이를 이용하기 위한 많은 연구가 수행되었다(김 등 1995, 김 등 1996, 차 등 1995). 오징어는 한국인의 기호에 맞아 선어나 냉동어등의 조리용 원료 외에 다양하게 가공되는 주요 수산자원이다. 가공과정에서 식도, 위장, 간장, 생식선 등의 내장들은 제거되는데 이는 전체중량의 20%이상을 차지하며 일부는 사료나 사료용 오징어 간유로 이용되고 있다. (중략)

  • 본 연구는 현재까지 국내에서 가숭어, Chelon lauvergnii의 성숙 및 인공 종묘 생산에 관한 구체적인 연구 보고는 매우 미흡한 실정임을 고려, 가숭어의 효과적인 인공 종묘 생산을 위한 기초 자료로서 산란기 특성 조사 및 부화 자어에 대한 rotifer, Artefnia, 배합사료 공급에 따른 성장과 생존을 조사하였다. 또한 rotifer와 brine shrimp, Artemia nauplius를 오징어 간유, 식물성 플랑크톤 건조 분말인 Maxima$^{TR}$ , Chlorella sp.로 각각 영양 강화한 후 치어에 공급시 자어의 성장과 생존에 대한 그 효과를 비교 분석하였다. 아울러 밀도별 사육 실험을 통한 적정 밀도를 규명하여 가숭어 종묘 생산시 효율적이고 경제적인 기술을 개발하고자 본 연구를 수행하였다.   • This study investigated the effects of microcapsule wall materials and mixing ratios on the characteristics of microcapsules containing squid liver oil Emulsion stability was increased as Na-caseinate levels lose. Changes in mixing ratios of Na-caseinate and cyclodextrin caused micioencapsulation efficiencies to rise, fall, and then rise again. The particle size aid moisture contort of microencapsulated powders were not affected by the mixing ratios of wall materials. As the cyclodextrin content rose, water uptake was increased. The polyunsaturated fatty acid composition was shown to be higher then 50% in all powders, and the ratio of polyunsaturated fatty acid composition to saturated fatty acid composition was. 2.11 when the Na-caseinate and cyclodextrin mixing ratio was 4:6.

Effect of Dietary Lipids on Growth on Nile Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus (지질 종류에 따른 나일틸라피아의 성장 효과)

  • Experiments were conducted to find out suitable dietary lipids in the practical feed for Nile tilapia, Oreochromis nilotius. Soybean oil, corn oil, fish oil or cuttlefish liver oil was mixed in the diet and tested. The best weight gain and feed efficiency were obtained from the fish fed soybean oil or corn oil, both rich in 18 : 2n-6. But the growth rate of fish fed diet with fish oil or cuttlefish liver oil were inferior. The levels of 20 : 3n-9 in the total lipid were not different in all tested lipids, but that in the polar lipid of the fish oil or cuttlefish liver oil were lower than that in the soybean oil or corn oil. Thus, vegetable oil such as soybean oil or corn oil, rich in 18 : 2 n-6, were suitable as dietary lipid for Nile tilapia. Unlike other fish species, fish oil or cuttlefish liver oil showed no essential dietary value for this species.

  • The purpose of this study was to document the histology of canine acupoints. Acupunctural needles were inserted by 0.5 to 1 cm depth into acupoints Nei-guan (Inner pass, PC06), Gan-shu (Liver Association Point, BL18), Shen-shu (Kidney Association Point, BL23) and Pangguang-shu (Bladder Association Point, BL28) in 4 dogs, and the tissues around the acupoints were examined. Light microscopy was used to observe the surrounding structures of each point. Nerve fibres, small vessels and muscle spindles were found around the tip of the needle in every case, although they occurred not so often at nonacupoint in nearby region or nonacupoint in the areas, such as skin, subcutaneous tissue and muscle. Therefore, it is suggested that nerve fibres, small vessels and muscle spindles may be potential acupoint receptors.

Stability and Processing Characteristics of Microencapsulated Squid Liver Oil by Fluidized Bed Coating (오징어 간유 미세캡슐의 유동층 코팅에 따른 품질 특성)

  • Squid oil is an abundant source of polyunsaturated fatty acids. This is particularly true for eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid. The principal objective of this study was to extend the stability and improve the process aptitude of squid liver oil. Fluidized bed coatings were employed for coating with microencapsulated oil. The efficiency of the fluidized bed coating of the microencapsulated powder was over 90%. The apparent density with zein-DP was 0.6 g/mL, thereby indicating that flow ability had been improved as the result of an increase in specific gravity. The solubility of artificial gastric and enteric fluids with HPMC-FCC was 59.9 and 0%, respectively, whereas with zein-DP solubility was 0 and 31.0%, respectively. Polyunsaturated fatty acid retention results demonstrated that zein-DP coating was higher than HPMC-FCC, followed by the microencapsulated squid liver oil method. These results demonstrated that the application of microencapsulation and fluidized bed micro-coating techniques improved the stability and processing compatibility of squid liver oil.

Microencapsulation Characteristics Depending on Mixing Ratio of Wall Materials and Squid Liver Oil (피복물질과 오징어 간유의 혼합 비율에 따른 미세캡슐화 특성)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the microencapsulation characteristics of squid liver oil according to various ratios of wall materials and squid liver oil. The emulsion stability and the water binding capacity increased with an increase in wall materials contents. The microencapsulation efficiency was found to be in the order of 7:3>4:6>3:7>5:5>6:4 by mixing ratio of wall materials and squid liver oil; also, ratio of 7:3 was found to be inappropriate because the oil content in the powder was not sufficient. Regarding the fatty acid composition, the content of polyunsaturated fatty acid was found to be over 50% in all treatment groups. The ratio of polyunsaturated to saturated fatty acid of the powder was the highest (2.13) at the mixing ratio of 4:6.

  • The s-polarized laser beam is incident with an angle ~$-30^{\circ}$ to a uniformly rotating rough metal surface and the degree of second order temporal coherence $g_{s}^{(2)}(\tau)$ of the backscattered wave, which has the same polarization with the incident laser beam, is measured. The contribution of shot noise involved in the measurement of $g_{s}^{(2)}(0)$ is subtracted from the photoelectric signal to obtain the accurate value of $g_{s}^{(2)}(0)$.At each scattering angle$\theta_{s}$에서$g_{s}^{(2)}(\tau)$ is almost consistent with the function {1+exp($-\tau^2/\tau_0^2$)}, which is the same result with the case of the laser speckle formed by scattering on the rotating ground glass suface. In addition, a peak in the angular distribution of $\tau_0$ is observed with the maximum at$\theta_s=34^{\circ}$.It is found that the rough metallic scattering with multiple scattering over than 10% has the same function of the degree of second order temporal coherence with that of the ground glass surface scattering where the multiple scattering is ignorably small.

Effects of Dietary Beef Tallow, Soybean Oil and Squid Liver Oil on Growth and Body Composition of the Korean Rockfish Sebastes schlegeli, and Biochemical Changes with Starvation (사료 지질원으로 우지, 대두유 및 오징어 간유 첨가에 따른 조피볼락 Sebastes schlegeli의 성장 및 체성분 변화와 절식시 체내 대사)

  • The effects of different dietary lipids on growth, body chemical composition, and nutrient partition of the Korean rockfish (43 g of initial mean weight) were studied. Fish were fed three experimental diets containing 1) $4.5\%$ squid liver oil, 2) $1\%$ squid liver oil and $3.5\%$ beef tallow, and 3) $1\%$ squid liver oil and $3.5\%$ soybean oil. Growth and feed efficiency were detarmined during a 19-week feeding period at water temperature of $15.5^{\circ}C$, and at the end of which body chemical compositions were analyzed. Remained fish were fasted for 45 days, and four fish were taken at 6, 12 and 24 hours, and 3, 15 and 45 days after the fasting to determine tissue compositions and hematological changes. Growth, feed efficiency, protein and lipid retention efficiency, hepatosomatic index(HSI), viscerosomatic index (VSI), and chemical composition of whole body and dorsal muscle were not affected by the different dietary lipids. Liver moisture content of fish fed squid liver oil diet was higher than that of fish fed beef tallow or soybean oil diet. Liver lipid content of fish fed beef tallow diet was higher than that of fish fed the other diets. Fatty acid composition of dorsal muscle and liver were affected by the different dietary lipids ; high levels of 20 : 5n-3 and 22 : 6n-3 from fish fed the diet containing squid liver oil, 18 : 1 from fish fed the diet containing beef tallow, and high 18 : 2n-6 and 18 : 3n-3 from fish fed the diet containing soybean oil were observed. Both HSI and VSI of fish fed three diets decreased with time after the begining of starvation. Liver glycogen did not change during the first 15 days of starvation and decreased thereafter, and that was not affected by the different dietary lipids. Lipid and protein contents in the dorsal muscle of fish decreased up to 15 days of starvation and remained unchanged thereafter, these were not different from each other. Glucose, free fatty acid, triglyceride and phospholipid concentrations in Fish serum were varied for the first 15 days of starvation, after that the concentrations of fish serum remained relatively stable in all the treatment groups with prolonged starvation. The results indicate that Korean rockfish can utilize fish oil, animal fat or vegetable oil equally as energy source when n-3HUF A is adquate.

  • 본 연구에서는 장수형 등(2005)이 제시한 실시간 저수지 유입량 예측모형과 통합하여 하나의 시스템을 구축한 후 하류 하도의 홍수통수능력과 현재 저수지 수위에서 방류 가능량을 고려하여 수문에서의 조절 방류 방안을 제시하였다. 또한, 현재시간 이후로 유입되는 홍수량을 감안하여 강우가 종료되어서도 이수용량이 확보되도록 하였다. 연구는 예당저수지에 적용하였으며, 방류량 계산시 최대 방류가능량은 저수위와 수문의 개도고에 따라 오리피스와 완전월류 흐름을 구분하여 계산하였으며 방류기준은 하류 하도의 통수능력, 강우종료 후 이수용량 확보 등을 감안하여 결정하였다. 연구의 적용결과, 본 연구에서 개발된 저수지 운영시스템을 적용한 결과 강우종료 후에도 이수용량 확보가 가능하였으며, 하류하도의 피해을 최대한 주지 않는 범위 내에서 저수지의 수문조작이 가능하여 예당지의 홍수조절능력을 극대화할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.
