  • The purpose of this study is to analyze a Characteristics of block formation and commercialization of residential books commercial area along urban arteries on Teheran-ro in Seoul. 'Teheran-ro' is selected as a case site to analyze the characteristics of residential blocks commercial area along urban arteries. The study analyzes the characteristics of the street network and block formation in commercial area along arteries and rear residential blocks, and commercialization of residential blocks commercial area along urban arteries according to the characteristics of street network and block formation.   • 접든성통제는 고속도로에 있어서 교통사고 감소의 가장 효과적인 수단들 중의 하나로 인식되어져왔다. 이러한 접근통제의 새로운 적용으로서 접근성관리는 과도한 투자 없이 일반도로상에서 교통사고를 감소시키는데 활용되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 도시간선도로상에 있어서 접근성관리와 교통사고와의 관계를 교통사고비용의 측면에서 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 이 연구는 미국 텍사스주 대도시 지역내 중앙분리간선도로의 교통사고자료를 다중회귀모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 이 연구는 자료분석의 결과 다음과 같은 사실을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫째, 접근성관리는 도시간선도로의 교통사고비용과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 이러한 접근성관리와 교통사고비용과의 관계는 도로의 교통상황과 도로변 토지이용상태에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 셋째, 대체로 접근성관리와 관련된 요인이 교통상황 및 토지이용상태에 관련된 요인보다 더 교통사고비용과 밀접한 관계를 보였다. 마지막으로, 교통사고비용을 설명하는데 있어 가장 중용한 접근성 관리 요인은 외부접근로의 간격으로 나타났다.

Study On The Heavy Metal Pollution in Soils and Barks of Roadside Trees in Taejon (대전시의 가로수 수피 및 표사의 중금속 오염에 관한 연구)

  • To find out the extent of air pollution in Taejon city, we investigated the concents of heavy metals in barks of trees in principal roadside, the outer block of a roadside and Pomunsan Park. Among the road-side trees in these areas, Platanus orientalis, Ginkgo biloba and Liriodendron tulipifera have been chosen. And we analyzed the relationship between the content of heavy metal of the barks and the traffic volume expressed by cars passing through for an hour. The range of contents of the lead in barks of the trees in the roadside and Pomunsan Park were respectively 2-1109 ppm and 5-11 ppm. Generally the contents of lead of barks of the trees in roadside was much higher than that in Pomunsan Park. And there has been positive correlation between the traf-fic volume and the content of lead in the barks. The more cars passing through for an hour, the higher the maximum in contents of lead in the barks of roadside trees. By the way the contents of cadmium in barks of the roadside trees was slightly higher than that in Pomunsan Park and was little variable.

  • An increase in number of vehicles owned by individuals worsens the conditions of parking in residential areas. So to speak, the pedestrians' safety is seriously threatened by illegally parked vehicles on the residential area roads. As a result, the number of vehicle-to-pedestrian accidents has been increasing annually. Also, illegal parking on arterial roads is increasingly becoming common, especially by cooommercial trucks. However, no solution has been found to reduce or eliminate accidents caused by vehicles illegally parked on readside. The result of this study provides the solutions to enhance the safety of residential area roads and arterial roads, from viewpoints of both long-term and short-term, by collecting data about the status of illegal parking and addressing critical problems.

  • 도시생활에서 가장 짜증스러운 것은 자동차 소음이다. 경제발전과 더불어 인구의 도시 집중과 급격한 차량증가는 교통량이 많은 간선도로변을 중심으로 도로교통 소음문제가 야기되고 있으며, 우리나라도 지난 '97. 7월 자동차 1000만대 보유국이 되었다. 도로교통 소음은 자동차에서 발생하는 소음과 차량의 통행량, 차량의 주행속도및 도로주변 조건등 각종 요인이 복합 된 것으로 저속운행이 일반적인 도시에서는 자동차에서 발생하는 소음 중 엔진에서 나는 소음이 대개 60% 이상을 점하게 된다. 이러한 문제점 등을 감안하고 쾌적한 생활 환경 조성을 위하여 환경부에서는 제작차 소음 허용기준을 정하여 제작차가 시판되기전 단계에서 제작차 소음 허용기준에 적합하게 제작되는지 여부를 관리하기 위하여 인증제도를 시행 중에 있으며, 인증 시험에 통과된 차량에 대해서만 제작 시판할 수 있도록 법제화하여 운영하고 있다. 인증에 필요한 시험은 자동차의 가속주행소음, 배기소음 및 경적소음 시험으로써 본 장에서는 제작차 인증시험과 평가방법 등을 소개하고, 아울러 도로교통 소음 진동에 대하여서도 기술하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the historical development of high-rise buildings-promoting policies in Seoul in terms of modern urban redevelopment. The results of this study were as follows; The maximum height of the buildings has been limited by National codes since 1934. But at the same time, Seoul Metropolitan government had limited the minimum building floors of roadside buildings through local regulations after the Korean War. The high-rise city had been regarded as a means of beautifying Seoul for a long time. However since the 2000s, the minimum height limit for buildings was removed from local regulations and the concept of high-rise restrictions was no longer significant as before.

  • 소리는 가장 편리한 정보전달 수단이며 인간은 소리를 떠나 살 수 없으나, 원치않는 소음은 생활에 많은 불편을 주는 환경문제가 되고 있으며, 특히 도로교통소음은 가장 피해가 큰 소음원이 되어 도로변에 거주하는 많은 국민들의 불만이 점증하고 있다. 특히, 우리나라의 고속도로는 물론, 국도나 지방도 등 주요간선도로는 24시간 교통이 끊이지 않아서 인근 주민들은 밤낮 구별 없이 소음에 시달리고 있다. 이에 본 글에서는 정온한 생활환경조성을 위한 새로운 도로교통소음 저감방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • This paper analysis spatial correlation applying commercial activating factor and categories clusters among have homogeneity in garosu street which are rising commercial issue in residential district. Based on this research we can draw several implications. Firstly, Garosu street are forming unique space around fassion feature like clothes and food and Beverage stores are supporting main functions. secondly, in terms of utilization of semi-public space in individual buildings, main Street are using display goods and put product.Also restaurants and cafes are using public space as terrace seats. These results mean principal road emphasizes displaying and passing but inner road emphasizes taking a break and staying. Third, repetitive action between high rising vacancy and new building cause negative effects city decline and lossing identity. So residents and merchants should cooperate and make communities for sustainable district.

A Study on Determinants of Commercial Land Values in Gwangju City (광주시 상업지 지가의 형성요인에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study is which factors affect the commercial land values and how they act upon them through distribution of commercial land values by multiple regression analysis in Gwangju city. The major findings of this study are as follows: (1) The changes of commercial land values distribution in $1989{\sim}1996$, We see that the commercial area of higher land values extends following the main arterial road. This is related to urbanization in urban fringe while the decline of commercial land values occurs in city center with long history of commercial region. This is due to unsuitableness in rapid changes of commercial environment because of fragmented lots, old buildings. traffic congestion etc. (2) The regions where commercial land values greatly rose are the west in constructed the new planning city center of Sangmu-dong. and the south west in which is related to the extension of high density apartment and the location of big discount stores. (3) Through the changes in commercial land values distribution map. and road map, topographical map, we know that commercial land values is related to various factors; namely, distance from CBD, convenient traffic, reputation of commercial district, condition of a road, size of supplementary, a degree of commercial land use etc. (4) From the above related factor, six variables are extracted by operational definition. That is the spatial distance from the city center, the walking distance to a stopping place, the road width, the amount of bus traffic, the amount of pedestrian, the number of the shop. (5) Data of seven variables are collected on the highest values point of each Dong. We applicate multiple regression analysis with commercial land values as a dependent variable, extracted six variables as independent variables. (6) As a result of multiple regression on the determinants of commercial land values, the variables which is greatly related to commercial land values are the amount of pedestrain, the spatial distance from city center. We identify that two variables explain variance of the commercial land values by 65%. (7) In order to make clear about not explained 35%. we carry out analysis of residual. In consequence, we see small estimate in downtown area and large estimate in urban fringe. This feature is due to simple core structure of Gwangju city and limits of this regression model.
