Vitiligo is a commonly acquired cutaneous depigmentation disorder that affects 0.5~1% of the population worldwide. While phototherapy is the primary treatment for vitiligo, surgical methods can be used for treating patients who are refractory to conventional treatments. Herein, we present the case of a 14-year-old Korean girl who developed vitiligo after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She had multiple depigmented patches on her lower legs that did not respond to narrow-band ultraviolet B phototherapy for 7 months. The depigmented patches were successfully treated by transplantation of non-cultured epidermal cell suspension from the epidermal roof of the suction blister in the right inner thigh. No adverse event, such as secondary infection or scarring in both the donor and recipient sites, was noted. We recommended that non-cultured epidermal cell suspension transplantation using the suction blister method would be a safe and effective option for the treatment of refractory vitiligo.

In 1971, Dr. Akira Endo succeeded in isolating a cholesterol synthesis inhibitor, compactin. Later, compactin was renamed mevastatin, meaning that it stops the synthesis of mevalonate, which is considered the first statin. However, mevastatin is not commercially released, whereas lovastatin, developed by Alfred Albert of Merk in 1979, was the first commercially developed statin. After the 4S study, the first largescale clinical trial with statins conducted in Scandinavia showed a dramatic secondary preventive effect against cardiovascular disease, and the effectiveness of statins in patients with dyslipidemia was repeatedly demonstrated. Subsequently, many oral drugs that affect blood lipid concentration; statins and ezetimibe aimed at reducing low-density lipoprotein (LDL)) cholesterol; fibrates and omega 3 formulations aimed at reducing triglycerides were widely developed and used in Korea. In this article, we review the results of clinical studies on representative cardiovascular diseases for four types of oral drugs for dyslipidemia, which are currently the most commonly used in Korea.

대학생용 코로나19 스트레스 척도는 코로나19 상황 속에서 대학생만이 경험할 수 있는 스트레스 유발상황과 그에 대한 반응을 측정한다. 본 연구는 이 척도의 유용성을 인식하고 척도의 한국어판 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 대학생이 자주 이용하는 온라인 커뮤니티에 설문지를 탑재하여 대학생들이 자발적으로 설문조사에 참여하도록 하였다. 총 293명의 학부생이 본 연구에 참여하였다. 한국어판 대학생용 코로나19 스트레스 척도는 원척도의 7개 문항을 그대로 유지하였으며 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도는 모두 양호하였다. 다만 원척도는 3개 요인으로 구성되었으나 한국어판은 단일 요인 척도로 나타났다. 한국어판 코로나19 스트레스 척도를 토대로 팬데믹 상황에서 대학생의 스트레스를 측정할 수 있는 대학생용 팬데믹 스트레스 척도가 개발되길 바란다.

Background and Objectives : This study aims to identify sociodemographic and disease-related variables which predicts continuity of outpatient treatment after discharge among bipolar patients. Materials and Method : The medical records of patients who discharged with the diagnosis of bipolar disorder from Department of Psychiatry, St. Mary's hospital from 2005 to 2009 were reviewed. Data on sociodemographic and disease-related variables were analyzed. Results : It showed older age, higher rate of male and higher rate of being married in 1-year follow-up group than in non-follow-up group. And it showed longer duration of index hospitalization, higher rate of previous psychiatric outpatient treatment within 3 months before index hospitalization, higher rate of involuntary admission in 1-year follow-up group than in non-follow-up group. The univariate logistic regression analysis revealed that older age, being male, previous psychiatric treatment and longer duration of index hospitalization were significantly related to an increased likelihood of 1-year follow-up visits. Conclusion : Age, sex, history of previous psychiatric treatment, and duration of hospitalization seems to have influence on continuity of outpatient treatment after discharge.

최근 코로나 19로 인한 사회적 거리 두기 확산에 따라 언택트 문화가 새로운 패러다임으로 등장해 사회 전반으로 확산되고 있다. 언택트 문화의 확산으로 컴퓨터를 사용할 때 직접적인 접촉이 있는 키보드나 마우스 같은 입력장치는 공공장소에서 여러 사람이 접촉할 경우 문제가 생길 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹캠을 통해 입력된 영상에서 손동작을 인식하는 합성곱 신경망을 학습하고 결과로 나온 추론 모델을 이용하여 비접촉 가위바위보 게임을 구현하였다.

본 논문에서는 맞춤형 반려동물 사료제품 추천을 위해 최근의 자연어처리 모델인 KoBERT 모델에 기반하여 반료동물 사료제품에 대한 감성분석 모델을 설계하고 구현한다. 본 논문을 통해 구현된 반려동물 사료제품의 감성분석 모델은 정확도 평가에 대해서 비교적 우수한 성능을 보였으며, 학습과정에 참여하지 않은 새로운 반려동물 사료제품에 대해서 0.93 이상의 정확도를 산출하였다.

환경보호 플랫폼은 환경보호와 관련된 모든 활동들을 대상으로 하나의 애플리케이션 안에서 제공하는 서비스로, 일반 사용자에게 편리하고 다양한 활동 정보를 제공한다. 이러한 과정중 어떤 사용자 경험이 환경보호 활동을 증진 시킬 수 있는가에 대한 연구이다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate exposure characteristics of lead using data from the domestic occupational exposure literature. Methods: Occupational airborne exposure data on lead reported in the domestic literature from 1981 to 2018 were collected and re-analyzed. The exposure levels in the data were expressed as an estimated arithmetic mean and a weighted arithmetic mean (WAM) of the number of samples. Lead exposure characteristics were analyzed by industry, process, and year. Results: From a total of 14 documents, 8,305 airborne lead measurements for 17 industries were identified, and the WAM concentration in eight industries exceeded the occupational exposure limit of 50 ㎍/m³. Three industries (battery manufacturing, lead smelting, and litharge manufacturing) accounted for 95% of the total data, and exposure trends could be confirmed over 10 years. Exposure levels continue to decrease in all three industries. Conclusions: Considering the distribution outlook of lead and lead compounds, the main management targets are lead storage battery manufacturing and secondary smelting for lead regeneration.

본 콘텐츠는 요양원에 거주 중인 노인들이 코로나 상황이 장기적으로 지속되고 있어 외출하지 못하거나 여행을 가지 못하고 있다. 해당 콘텐츠를 통해 노인들의 어린 시절을 회상할 수 있는 물건들이 전시되어 있는 속초 시립박물관의 곳곳을 구경할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 시립박물관 내부에 있는 설명을 내레이션을 통해 음성으로 전달하여 한글을 잘 모르시는 노인들도 본 콘텐츠를 흥미롭게 감상할 수 있을 거라 기대된다. 그리고 구경할 시간이 충분히 지난 후에 상호작용하는 요소들을 나타내도록 하여 현실과의 괴리감을 조금이라도 덜 느껴지게 하고자 한다. 현재 장기적으로 지속되고 있는 코로나 상황에서 요양원에 거주하고 있는 노인들의 우울증 예방뿐만 아니라 어린 시절 추억을 회상하며 기억하는 연습도 할 수 있어 치매 예방에도 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것이다.
