The objective of Value Engineering (VE) is to derive the optimal value at the most efficient life cycle cost, comprising three stages: Pre-Study, Study, and Post-Study. In this study, we propose a method for information collection and analysis during planned site visit surveys in the preparation stage of VE. The 3D spatial model, created using a drone, facilitated observation and analysis of the study area from various angles, both from the center and the outside. Additionally, through the utilization of drones, we conducted on-site investigations of the research area's 3D spatial model, enabling a macroscopic perspective previously only feasible through a microscopic viewpoint during planned site visits in the pre-study phase. Furthermore, the utilization of actual spatial data obtained from observations allowed for real-time information verification during Design VE workshops, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the VE project.

The sandy beach along the east coast of Korea offers beautiful scenery with high-quality sand for leisure, and is also famous for the white-sand and pine-tree which is an important scenic resource. Furthermore, the sandy beach helps to maintain natural environment of the costal area and functionates as a disaster prevention system against high waves. There are two major value evaluation methods, Travel Cost Method and Contingent Valuation Method, to assess the value of coastal sandy beach. Contingent Valuation Method is considered to be more appropriate for simultaneous evaluation on the usefulness and the uselessness of the beach. But in order to apply Contingent Valuation Method to coastal sandy beach evaluation, close examination and investigation on the potential bias, such as on questionnaires, surveys and replies, are required. In this study, the characteristic of primary amenity of sandy beach users is investigated, in prior to evaluating the usefulness and the uselessness of the beach measured by contingent valuation method. The characteristic of amenity on major sandy beaches on the east coast of Korea is studied and compared by diverse value evaluation methods.

제조업의 경쟁력을 기업이 보유하고 있는 기술력이 좌우한다고 할 때 기술은 크게 제품기술과 생산기술로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 제품기술의 혁신(Product Innovation)은 모든 과학 및 공학부문의 기초, 응용기술을 집약하여 최종 사용자의 구매의욕을 유발시킬 수 있도록 제품의 기능과 형상을 결정하는 과정으로, 오늘날 하나의 흐름을 형성하고 있는 소형, 경량화, 다기능 통합화, 에너지 절감 형, 지능형제품개발 외에도 기업의 Identity에 부합하는 이미지 제품의 개발(예: 독일 제품은 튼튼하다, 쏘니제품은 스마트하다 등), 신기술이 접목된 신제품 개발에 의한 신규 수요 창출 등에 그 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 우리나라의 경우 제품의 수명주기 상에서 볼 때 성숙기 또는 쇠퇴기에 있는 제품들이 주력산업을 형성하고 있는데 이와 같은 산업에서는 부가가치가 적기 때문에 환율이나 유가변동과 같은 외부의 충격에도 경제 전체가 흔들리는 상황을 맞게 된다. 반면에 일본이나 독일은 부가가치가 가장 큰 성장기의 제품을 주력산업으로 하면서 도입기/발아기 제품을 다음 주력 상품으로 준비하는 구조를 갖추고 있기 때문에 웬만한 충격을 충분히 소화시키면서 안정적으로 성장할 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 우리나라의 주력 산업을 여하히 부가가치가 높은 성장기/도입기의 제품으로 이전하느냐 하는 것이 우리 경제가 안고 있는 근본적인 숙제이며 이를 풀기 위하여는 제품기술혁신을 위한 투자와 노력을 인내심 있게 장기적으로 경주해야 할 것이다.

In the contingent valuation method (CVM) survey, we employed double-bounded discrete choice (DBDC) question to investigate the willingness to pay (WTP). The estimation results for the bivariate logit model show that respondents are willing to pay 329,256 won per year. The model with covariate variables suggests that the covariate effects help describe behavioral or preference tendencies. Double-bounded models increase efficiency over single dichotomous choice models, because the answers yes-no or no-yes yield clear bounds on WTP.

시스템 안전에 대한 연구는 매년 증가하는 사고로부터 발생하는 엄청난 손실을 줄여보자는 필요하에 1960년경부터 미국의 군대에서 시작되었다. 시스템안전은 개발중인 시스템의 설계, 개발, 응용과 관련된 여러분야 즉 품질보증, 인간공학, 신뢰성, 정비성, 가치공학, 시험지원분야, 설계/생산공학, 산업안전, 시스템공학, 형상관리분야등과 상호 밀접하게 관련되어 있으므로 이분야에 대한 상호이해와 끊임없는 정보교환이 요청되고 있다. 항공기 개발프로그램의 경우 시스템 안전의 궁극적인 목표는 성공적인 초도비행이라고 할수 있다

This thesis attempts to describe the basis and value system respectively selected by opinions pro and against bio engineering technology and to induce discussions on the basis of the concept called 'two culture' issue by C. P. Snow - science culture, human culture, a teleological ethical theory and a deontological ethical theory, traditional eugenics, and liberalism eugenics. In addition, it will discuss about inconvenient truth about science and bio engineering which we have wrongly understood up to now - a myth on objectivity of science, autonomy of science and a scientist, a hunger of world, science expected to be responsible for all men. Lastly, it will describe study ethics and social responsibility, openness, moral imagination, self-examination, character of a bio engineer as professionalism.

습지는 가장 생산적인 생태계 중 하나이며, 인류에게 수문학적, 경제적, 문화적 가치로도 매우 귀중한 역할을 하고 있다. 하지만 기후변화와 인간의 영향으로 수위저하와 건조, 수문체계에 변화를 주어 습지의 건조화 현상이 나타나고 이로 인해 생태계에도 영향을 미치고 있다. 특히 산지습지는 인위적 간섭에 매우 취약하고 환경변화에 민감하여 불규칙한 강수패턴 및 무분별한 개발은 습지수문환경에 영향을 미쳐 습지의 건조화를 심화시키는 원인이 되고 있다. 그 결과 자연적으로 습지의 면적이 감소하고 식생의 패턴 변화로 다양한 생물들과 보호가 필요한 종들이 사라질 것이므로 변화에 대응하기 위해서 건조화를 방지할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 습지 내 지하수위 저하 또는 유입 유출량의 변화로 습지 토양의 수분이 감소하여 말라가는 현상을 습지 가뭄이라 정의하고 가뭄지수를 활용하여 이를 지수화 하였다. 현재 산지습지를 대상으로 가뭄을 지수화 시킨 선행연구가 거의 없기 때문에 향후 산지 습지의 가치를 보존하고 생태계 관리의 목적으로 후속 연구의 방향을 제시하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 예상된다.

견피브로인의 우수한 물리화학적 성질에 기인하여 실크는 과거로부터 지금까지 인류에게 매력적인 소재로 인식되고 있다. 견피브로인은 주로 의류용 소재로서 이용되고 있지만 현재에는 생명공학용 소재로서의 가치가 크게 부각되고 있어서 그 가치는 더욱 크다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 이를 용도에 적합한 형태로 성형하고자 하는 연구가 계속되고 있다. 성형의 한 방법으로 재생 견피브로인 필라멘트에 대해서도 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. (중략)
