Separation Characteristics in Stirred Deadend Microfiltration System (교반형 Deadend 정밀여과 시스템의 투과특성)

  • PEFE, Asypore, PC, Nylon 등의 정밀여과막에 0.1내지 4$\mu\textrm{m}$의 입자분포를 가진 kaolin 용액을 dead-end 형 여과장치(Amicon Cell, 8050)를 이용하여 투과실험을 하였다. 또한 공칭세공이 0.2$\mu\textrm{m}$ 인 PTFE(Sartorius 사) 막에 kaolin, bentonite, yeast, starch 등 입자의 크기 및 특성이 다른 0.1%의 용액들을 1 bar 의 운전압력과 200rpm의 회전속도로 투과실험을 하였다. 투과 실험한 자료를 근거로 저항모델을 적용하여 분석하였으며 순수 하락도와 액체전이법으로 세공분포를 확인하였다.

A Combustion Characteristics of Attached Jet Flame under the Regular Oscillation (규칙적인 진동 하에서 노즐 부착된 제트화염의 연소특성)

  • A general combustion characteristics of forcing nonpremixed jet in laminar flow rates have been conducted experimentally to investigate the effect of forcing amplitude with the resonant frequency of fuel tube. There are two patterns of the flame lift-off feature according to the velocity increasing; one has the decreasing values of forcing amplitude on the lift-off occurrence when a fuel exit velocity is increasing, while the other has the increasing values. These mean that there are the different mechanisms in the lift-off stability of forced jet diffusion flame. Especially, the characteristics of attached jet flame regime are concentrically observed with flame lengths, shapes, flow response and velocity profiles at the nozzle exit as the central figure. The notable observations are that the flame enlogation, in-homing flame and the occurrence of a vortical motion turnabout have happened according to the increase of forcing amplitude. It is understood by the velocity measurements and visualization methods that these phenomena have been relevance to an entrainment of surrounding oxygen into the fuel nozzle as the negative part of the fluctuating velocity has begun at the inner part of the fuel nozzle.

  • 미진동 제어라는 분야에 대한 연구는 반도체 산업이 초고도화 및 초정밀화가 진전되고 있는 최근에 들어와 학계보다는 전문 반도체와 TFT-LCD의 미진동제어 관련 엔지니어 그룹과 정밀 장비 제작사를 중심으로 이루어져왔다. 고집적 생산 제품을 가공 및 검사하기 위해서는 가공 선폭 이상의 분해 성능을 가진 고정밀도의 생산 및 검사 장비가 필요하다. 이런 고정밀도 생산 및 검사장비는 내외부로부터 입력되는 진동에 민감한 영향을 받는다. 초기 반도체 산업을 주도한 미국을 중심으로 일부 학자와 반도체 진동 제어를 수행하는 전문연구소에서 작성한 BBN-Criteria는 정밀장비의 용도나 분해능 별로 정리된 진동허용규제치를 지침서로 사용하여 왔다. 그러나 장비의 엄밀한 주파수 특성 및 정밀도 측면에서 불확실한 영역부분을 가지고 있기 때문에 미소한 진동을 제어하는 구조 설계자 관점에서는 불충분한 자료이다. 그리고 주파수 분해능을 가진 진동허용규제치를 제시하는 것이 바람직하지만 대부분의 제작사에서는 그렇지 못하고 있다. 그런 이유에는 장비 개개의 진동허용규제치가 다른 고가의 장비 전량에 대하여 시험을 수행해야 하는 점, 가진(加振)특성, 중량, 크기 등의 진동실험 자체에 어려움 때문이다. 또한 진동실험시 가진주파수의 분해능의 결려에 따른 장비의 동적 특성이 고려되지 않은 불확실한 영역 부분을 포함한 진동허용규제치를 제시함으로서 불확실한 영역부분의 진동 하한치를 진동허용규제치의 상한치로 결정하는 문제로 인하여 진동허용규제치가 더욱 가혹하게 제시되어 건물 구조 설계와 방진의 어려움을 가중시킬 여지가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 어려움 등을 회피하는 방법으로 주파수응답함수(Frequency Response Function, FRF)를 이용하여 정밀장비의 진동허용규제치를 결정하는 간편하면서도 더욱 정밀한 새로운 방법을 모색하였다.

Dynamic behavior of Track/Roadbed with Loading Frequency in Concrete Track through Full Scale Model Test (실대형 실험을 이용한 가진주파수 변화에 따른 콘크리트궤도의 동적평가)

  • In this study, the full scale model tests were performed with track-roadbed system such as Ho-nam high speed railway. The measured data gives good similar a roadbed pressure with equivalent depth to the Odemark's theory. In the case of earth pressures have a under 50 kPa at upper-subgrade applying 330 kN static loading. Results of cyclic loading tests did not differ significantly from those of static loading test. The elastic displacement at HSB layer has a level of 1/100 compared to the 1 mm that it was evaluation criteria for speed up of High Speed Railway. Elastic displacement at subgrade layer was measured a level of 1/175. The dynamic characteristics of track-roadbed with loading frequency level were linearly increased under 35 Hz, while the wheel loading, displacement and acceleration of roadbed were decreased loading frequency above 35 Hz.

Modeling on Chloride Diffusivity in Concrete with Isotropic and Anisotropic Crack (등방성 및 이방성 균열을 가진 콘크리트의 염화물 확산계수 모델링)

  • Deterioration is accelerated due to additional intrusion of chloride ion in crack width in cracked concrete. In this paper, modeling on equivalent diffusion coefficient in cracked concrete is performed for 1-D (Anisotropic) and 2-D (Isotropic) diffusion based on steady state condition. In the previous research, rectangular shape of crack was considered but the shape was modified to wedge shape with torturity. For verification of the proposed model, crack is induced in concrete sample and migration test in steady state is performed for 1-D diffusion. For 2-D diffusion, previous test results are adopted for verification. Through considering wedge shape of crack with torturity, diffusion coefficients in 1-D and 2-D diffusion are reduced, and the more reasonable prediction is obtained. The results from the proposed model with torturity of 0.10~0.15 are shown to be in the best agreement with the test results.

  • In this study, the seismic performance of the Buckling Restrained Knee Bracing (BRKB) system was evaluated through a pin-connected one-bay, one-story frame. The BRKB system developed in this study was composed of a steel plate as a load-resisting core member and two channel sections to restrain local and global buckling of the core plate. The main purpose of the BRKB system is to restrengthen/rehabilitate old low- and mid-rise RC buildings, which, it is assumed, were designed with non-seismic designs and details. The main variables for the test specimens were the size of the core plates and the stiffeners, and the condition of the end plates. The test results showed that the size of the core plate, which was the main element of the load-resisting member, was the most important parameter in achieving a ductile behavior under tension as well as compression until the maximum displacement exceeds twice the design drift limit.

Seismic performance evaluation of circular composite columns by shaking table test (진동대 실험을 통한 원형 합성 기둥의 내진 성능 평가)

  • For the design of composite bridge piers, detail requirements for the reinforcements is not clear to satisfy the required seismic performance. Composite bridge piers were suggested to reduce the sectional dimensions and to enhance the ductility of the columns under earthquake loadings. In this paper, five specimens of concrete encased composite columns of 400mm diameter with single core steel were fabricated to investigate the seismic performance of the composite columns. Shaking table tests and a Pseudo-Dynamic test were carried out and structural behavior of small-scaled models considering near-fault motions was evaluated. Test parameters were the pace of the transverse reinforcement, lap splice of longitudinal reinforcement and encased steel member sections. The displacement ductility from shaking table tests was lower than that from the pseudo-dynamic test. Limited ductile design and 50% lap splice of longitudinal reinforcement reduced the displacement ductility. Steel ratio showed significant effect on the ultimate strength. Lap splice and low transverse reinforcements reduced the displacement capacity. The energy dissipation capacity of composite columns did not show significant difference according to details.

  • 고속의 입력 큐를 가진 스위치는 출력 큐를 가진 스위치보다 더 경제적이며 단순하다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 입력 큐를 가진 스위치는 성능을 크게 저하시키는 HOL Blocking이라는 문제를 가지고 있다. 입력 큐 스위치는 랜덤 어세스 입력 큐와 셀 스케쥴링 알고리즘을 사용한다면 휠씬 좋은 성능을 얻을 수 있다. 많은 입력 큐 ATM 스위치의 Self-Firing셀 스케쥴러가 제안되어 왔으나, 여러 가지 입력포트와 분포에서 측정된 성능이 서로 크게 차이가 난다는 점에서 공정하지 못한 것이었다. 본 논문에서 우리는 어떠한 트애픽 분포에서도 공정성을 가지는 셀 스케쥴러를 제안하며, 제안한 스케쥴러가 비록 트래픽이 비균일 분포일지라도 공정성이 유지되는 것을 모의 실험을 통하여 증명한다.

  • It is critical to assess the characteristics of flame response to pressure perturbations for the understanding of nonlinear combustion instabilities. Previous studies can be grouped into flame response upon perturbed, fresh air and fuel mixture, and flame response directly perturbed from longitudinal waves. The present study presents experimental methodology for the understanding of the flame response exposed to transverse acoustic waves generated by loud speakers.

Analysis on the Dynamic Behavior of Shaker (가진기의 동적 거동 해석)

  • It is a well known fact that the shaker used in the vibration test interacts with the test structure and thus influences the test results. A two degree of freedom model of shaker is suggested and the vibration parameters of this model is experimentally extracted. According to this experimental results, the vibration parameters of the shaker can vary with respect to the test structure as well as the stinger used in the connecting mechanism. It is also found that the vibration parameters of the shaker provided by the manufacturer can not be accurate and these parameter values should be revaluated based on the test environments.
