A Method for Estimating Local Intelligibility for Adaptive Digital Image Decimation (적응형 디지털 영상 축소를 위한 국부 가해성 추정 기법)

  • This paper is about the digital image decimation algorithm which generates a value of decimated element by an average of a target pixel value and a value of neighbor intelligible element to adaptively reflect the merits of ZOD method and FOD method on the decimated image. First, a target pixel located at the center of sliding window is selected, then the gradient amplitudes of its right neighbor pixel and its lower neighbor pixel are calculated using first order derivative operator respectively. Secondly, each gradient amplitude is divided by the summation result of two gradient amplitudes to generate each intelligible weight. Next, a value of neighbor intelligible element is obtained by adding a value of the right neighbor pixel times its intelligible weight to a value of the lower neighbor pixel times its intelligible weight. The decimated image can be acquired by applying the process repetitively to all pixels in input image which generates the value of decimated element by calculating the average of the target pixel value and the value of neighbor intelligible element.

  • Time management is important in construction management Especially, in the high-rise apartment housing projects, it is very important to expedite the construction progress in order to meet the planned schedule. The objective of this paper is to propose the baseline for the progress rate using work volume and man $\cdot$ hours performed at work activity level. The work volume far each activity is transformed to the weighted value compared to total work volume for the floor Therefore, a progress rate for an activity is calculated by multiplying a weighted value and work volume. A progress rate for a floor and a building can calculated in this manner, respectively.

  • The collaborative filtering recommendation technique has been the most widely used since the beginning of e-commerce companies introducing the recommendation system. As the online purchase of products or contents became an ordinary thing, however, recommendation simply applying purchasers' ratings led to the problem of low accuracy in recommendation. To improve the accuracy of recommendation, in this paper suggests the method of collaborative filtering that analyses product reviews and uses them as a weighted value. The proposed method refines product reviews with text mining to extract features and conducts sentiment analysis to draw a sentiment score. In order to recommend better items to user, sentiment weight is used to calculate the predicted values. The experiment results show that higher accuracy can be gained in the proposed method than the traditional collaborative filtering.

  • As one of the variations in growth and development of the craniofacial complex. malocclusion shows lack of concordance In the recognition and severity of malocclusion for dentists as well as the acceptance and need of orthodontic treatment for the patient The purposes of this study were 1) to examine the relationships between objective malocclusion severity aid subjective treatment difficulty. 2) to evaluate the effect of malocclusion components to the subjective perceived difficulty of treatment. 3) to establish the weighted values of malocclusion components to reflect the treatment difficulty 100 pairs of dental casts with the general characteristics of malocclusion. were selected from the orthodontic departments of Kyunghee University and Samsuug Medical Center. The severity of malocclusion was evaluated by the author with the PAR index The perceived treatment difficulty and the estimated treatment duration on these dental models were evaluated by 8 experienced orthodontists. The relationships between the objective malocclusion severity and the subjective treatment difficulty were statistically evaluated. and the weighted values of malocclusion components to reflect treatment difficulty were statistically formulated. There were significant relationships between objective malocclusion severity and subjective treatment difficulty The malocclusion components which significantly affected the treatment difficulty and their weighted values in parentheses were as follows upper anterior alignment(1). overbite (2). buccal occlusion (3) middline (4), and overjet (5). This study Provides the fundamental principle to evaluate the objective malocclusion severity which is reflected by the subjective treatment difficulty of Korean orthodontists.

A Study on the Applicability of 2-Poisson Model for Selecting Korean Subject Words (2-포아송 모형을 이용한 한글 주제어 선정에 관한 연구)

  • Experiments were performed on three subsets of a Korean test collection in order to determine whether 2-Poisson model's Z value is a good measure for selecting subject words from a document to be indexed. It was found that subject word selection based on the Z value was effective for only one subset with short texts, i.e., the Science and Technology subset. Correlation analyses between 2-Poisson model's Z and TF.IDF weight for the three subsets showed that the correlation was relatively high for two test subsets with short texts, i.e., the Science and Technology subset and the Newspaper subset.

  • The aim of this study is to compare and analyse the evaluation or performance indicators for academic libraries suggested at domestic and foreign. For the study, evaluation indicators of the various evaluation models(IFLA, ISO, ALA/ACRL, LA, HEFCE, CERLIM, JUAA, UNICOOP. KLA) was analysized. Evaluation or performance indicators should shed light on inputs and outputs of resource, levels of demand and satisfaction, the library effectiveness, and operating efficiency. There is a great deal of work going on at present, but as yet there is no greed set of indicators that can be across all academic libraries. Therefore, new evaluation indicators for physical and electronic libraries should be developed.

  • In this paper, we studied the derivation method of isoflux radiation for a planar array antenna. The presented array antenna was designed for considering of 1U-sized CubeSAT with Ku-band communications. For the presented array antenna, 8×8 radiating elements were arranged, and the distance between radiating elements was set of half-wavelength. The excited current weighting for each radiating elements was calculated by the signal processing technique used in the design of the low-pass filter. As a result of analysis of the method proposed in this paper, it was confirmed that a seamless isoflux pattern can be derived.

  • In this research, customized management performance index for small and medium enterprises in solar energy area was developed. To acquire management performance index, first Delphi technique is applied and secondly, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) used to give weight to each main index and then final management performance index was achieved. By developing management performance index, top management could manage their company more efficiently.

  • In this paper, a method is proposed to evaluate a number of alternatives for light-weight rolling stock recommended from experts in rolling stock and to decide an optimal alternative. At first, many customer needs from various fields in railroad are drawn and weights of customer needs are decided by AHP. Secondly, technical requirements that should be real specifications for light-weight rolling stock are set and weights of technical requirements are decided by QFD. Finally, we evaluate some proposed alternatives and conclude an optimal alternative of light-weight rolling stock with TOPSIS.

  • 본 연구는 국내 산사태 발생 데이터를 기반으로 시뮬레이션 모델을 머신러닝 기법을 통해 학습시켜 산사태의 토석류 흐름을 구현하는 알고리즘에 대한 연구이다. 전통적인 프로그래밍을 통한 산사태 시뮬레이션 모델 개발을 해당 시스템에 더 많은 고도의 물리학 법칙을 통합 적용시켜 토석류의 흐름을 공학적으로 재현해내는데 중점을 두고 개발이 진행되지만, 본 연구에서 다루는 머신러닝 기법을 통한 산사태 시뮬레이션 모델 개발의 경우 시스템에 입력되는 데이터를 기반으로한 학습을 통하여 토석류 흐름에 영향을 미치는 변수와 파라메터를 산출하고 정의는데 중점을 두고 개발이 진행된다. 본 연구에서 산사태 시뮬레이션 모델 개발에 활용하는 머신러닝 알고리즘은 강화학습 알고리즘으로 기존 산사태 발생 지점을 기반으로 에이전트를 설정해 시간에 따라 시뮬레이션의 각 스텝에서 토석류의 흐름 즉 액션을 환경에 따른 가중치를 기준으로 산정하게 된다. 여기서 환경에 따른 가중치는 시뮬레이션 모델에 정의된 메서드에 따라 산정된다. 시간이 목표값에 도달하여 결과가 출력되면 출력된 결과와 해당 산사태 발생 지점의 실제 산사태 피해 지역 데이터 즉 시뮬레이션 결과 이상치와의 비교를 통하여 시뮬레이션을 평가하게 된다. 이러한 평가는 시뮬레이션 데이터와 실제 데이터간의 유사도 비교를 통해 손실률을 도출하게 되고 이러한 손실률을 경사하강법등의 최적화 알고리즘을 통해 최소화 하여 입력된 데이터를 기반으로한 최적의 토석류 흐름 구현 알고리즘을 도출한다.
