냉간 시동 조건에서의 SCR 경유자동차의 NOx 전환 효율 (NOx Conversion Efficiency of SCR Diesel Vehicle Under Cold Start Condition)

  • Recently, The ministry of Environment in korea have introduced Euro-6d temp which was strengthened at the same time as Europe. Small Light-duty passenger vehicles need the SCR system of after-treatment to meet enhanced emission regulations. However, SCR system has a low conversion efficiency in a low temperature less than 200 degree. In this study, the NOx conversion efficiency of SCR system was analyzed by installing a NOx sensors and a temperature sensors in a diesel vehicle. Also, in order to analyze the effect of the cold-start, the test was performed on the same RDE route and compared with the test of hot-start. As a result, SCR system has characteristics of low conversion efficiency under cold-start conditions.

  • Despite the increasingly stringent automotive emissions regulations, the impact of vehicle emissions on air pollution remains large. In addition, since the issue of emission of more exhaust gas than the exhaust gas measured in the test room when the vehicle passing the exhaust gas regulation standard is run on the actual road, many countries studied and introduced gas regulations about Real Driving Emission using Portable Emission Measurement System. At present, Korea regulations restrict the number of NOx and PN in diesel vehicles. In the case of gasoline vehicles, there is no regulation on emission gas, but there is a problem of continuing automobile exhaust gas problems and a large amount of gasoline GDI vehicle's PN emission. So research and interest are increasing due to this problem. In this study, characteristics of exhaust gas depending on changes of ambient temperature were analyzed among various factors affecting exhaust gas measurement of gasoline vehicles. As a result, at the low temperature test, the lower the ambient temperature, the more the exhaust gas was emitted. At ordinary temperature test, no specific tendency was observed due to changes of ambient temperature.

  • It is expected that the introduction of real-driving emission will strengthen the exhaust emission. However, various researches have been reported that real-driving emission has been influenced by factors such as characteristics of the test routes and driving characteristics for drivers. In order to reflect this effect, European Commission applied the concept of driving dynamics to prevent deliberately driving of excessive and acceleration over RDE test. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of exhaust emissions according to real-driving test in three test routes and driving style. As a result of the test, it was confirmed that when the same driver tested real-driving test under three test routes, it depends on the driving characteristics of the route. Also, RDE-NOx for driving style was that severe driving has been about 16 times higher than normal driving in KNUT route.

  • Even in non-road UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle), spark ignition engines are often used to reduce emissions. In this study, gasoline and LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) fuels were applied to UTV engines, and the exhaust gas and combustion stability were compared through engine tests. A 0.8-liter two-cylinder SI engine was used in the experiment. Experiments were conducted while changing the IVO (Intake Valve Open) and EVC (Exhaust Valve Close) at 1500 rpm 14 N·m, 40 N·m, and 3000 rpm 17 N·m, 44 N·m conditions. As a result of the experiment, when the valve overlap increased according to the change of IVO and EVC, combustion stability decreased and THC emission increased, but NOx decreased. Comparing the LPG engine with the gasoline engine, the amount of CO2 and PN (Particulate Number) generation decreased in the LPG engine, and the combustion stability was good.

박막 가스 검지후소자의 제조에 관한 연구 (Study on the Preparation of Thin film gas sensors)

  • 분무법(spray method), 화학증착법(chemical vapor deposition method) 및 진공도착법 등을 사용하여 SRO2, SROr-ZnO 및 ZnO 박막가스 검지소자를 제조하였다. 제된된 소자들은 CO 및 SO2 등 유독가스를 포함한 여러 가지 가스에 대해 민감한 반응을 나타내었다. 박막가스 검지소자가 각종 가스와 접촉할 때 생기는 전기시도도의 변화는 이들 가스의 표면흡착에 의한 캐리어밀도의 변화에 기인하는 것으로 사료된다. 아울러 제조된 청막소자의 전기부도도는 소자 주위에 유지되는 기력에 따라 크게 달라짐을 알 수 있었다.

연소실 내 동축형 2-유체 분무의 이론적 모델 (Theoretical Model of Coaxial Twin-Fluid Spray In a Liquid Rocket Combustor)

  • 액체로켓엔진에 사용되는 2-유체 동축형 분사기의 분무 연소 특성을 수치적으로 해석하였다. 가스 역학적 상호작용에 의한 미립화 및 그에 따른 물리 현상들에 대해 유동에 대한 보존방정식과 이론식들을 적용, 수치화하여 액체 제트의 상태, 제트의 속도, 제트의 붕괴길이, 액적의 크기등을 예측 하였으며, 액체제트 분사공 크기에 따른 미립화의 변화를 고찰하였다. 모델 검증을 위하여 액체 제트의 접촉길이와 액적의 크기를 기존의 실험결과와 비교하였으며, 그 결과 정성적으로 일치함을 나타내었다. 액체 제트의 접촉길이는 분사공의 직경이 증가할수록 짧아지고 액적의 크기도 분사공의 직경이 증가할수록 작아진다. 액체 제트는 박리율 증가에 따른 분무화에 의하여 단면적이 감소되며, 그에 따른 질량유속의 보존과 가스로부터의 운동량 화산에 따라 미립화가 활발해지는 영역으로부터 그 속도가 급속히 증가된다.

횡단가스 유동에 분사되는 액체제트의 분무특성 (Characteristic of Liquid Jet in Subsonic Cross-flow)

  • The present study has numerically and experimentally investigated the spray behavior of liquid jet injected in subsonic cross-flow. The corresponding spray characteristics are correlated with jet operating parameters. The spray dynamics are known to be distinctly different in the three regimes: the column, the ligament and the droplet regimes. The behaviors of column, penetration and breakup of liquid jet have been studied. Numerical and physical models are base on a modified KIVA code. The primary atomization is represented by a wave model base on the KH(Kelvin-Helmholtz) instability that is generated by a high interface relative velocity between the liquid and gas flows. In odor to capture the spray trajectory, CCD camera has been utilized. Numerical and experimental results indicate that the breakup point is delayed by increasing gas momentum ratio and the penetration decreases by increasing Weber number.

용액분무법으로 MgO (100) 면에 제조한 $YBa_2Cu_3O_7-\chi$초전도 (Formation of $YBa_2Cu_3O_7-\chi$ Superconducting Film on (100) MgO Substrate by a Spray Pyrolysis Method)

  • 용액분무법으로 (100) MgO 단결정 기판위에 YBa2Cu3O7-x 초전도박막을 제조하 였다. YBa2Cu3O7-x 초전도 박막의 Y, Ba, Cu 원자의 상대적인 비는 EDX의 검출 한계내에 서 1 : 2 : 3이었고, 이는 분무 용액속의 금속이온의 비와 같았다. YBa2Cu3O7-x 초전도 박 막의 결정구조는 단일 상의 사방구조였으며, 기판에 수직인 c축의 방향으로 grain이 성장되 었고, 격자상수 c0는 11.678$\AA$였다. 95$0^{\circ}C$의 공기중에서 10분간 열처리한 박막의 Tc-on=100K, Tc-zero=80K, Jc=2.5 $\times$ 104A/cm2였고, 95$0^{\circ}C$의 흐르는 산소분위기에서 10분간 열처리한 박막의 Tc-on=103K, Tc-zero=80K, Jc=1.0 $\times$ 105A/cm2였다. 초전도 박막의 미세구 조, grain 크기와 grain 경계폭은 제조후 열처리(post-annealing) 시간과 가스 분위기에 강 한 영향을 받았다.

  • 전기기기 제품, 부품의 부식을 검증하기 위해서 염수, 아황산가스, 암모니아 가스 등을 이용한다. 염수시험은 입수를 액체 분무형태로 생성하며, 시편이 부식되도록 일정한 양을 분무하고 시험조 내에 균일한 분포를 갖도록 조정할 필요가 있다 본 논문은 연수분무 시험장치의 주요 인자를 바탕으로 실험계획법을 적용하여 시험용액의 분포가 균질하도록 최적의 조건을 찾는 방법을 제시하였다.

  • As the exhaustion of petroleum resources and air pollution problems are getting serious recently, there are growing interests in premixed diesel engines which have the potential of achieving a more homogeneous mixture near TDC compared to conventional diesel engines. Early studies have shown that the fuel injection frequency and spray angle affected the mixture formation and combustion in a HCCI(Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) engine. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between combustion and mixture formations by injection timing and frequency using a narrow angle injector, NADI (Narrow Angle Direct Injection). In this study, we found that the fuel injection timing and injection frequency affect the mixture formations and then affect combustion in the HCCI engine.
