QMS를 이용한 플라즈마 공정 진단

  • 전기방전의 기본적인 특성을 가지고 있는 플라즈마를 이용하여 재료를 가공하는 증착, 식각, 표면처리 공정에 있어서 플라즈마 내의 전자 충돌 반응에 의한 이온, 라디칼의 생성과 재료 표면의 반응을 분석하는 도구로써 분압 측정은 일반적인 화학 조성 분석에 기원한 오랜 역사를 가지고 있다. 1 amu 정도의 분해능을 가지고 있고 크기가 30 cm 정도에 불과한 사중극자 질량 분석기는 적절한 질량 스캔 시간과 넓은 이온 전류 측정 범위를 가지므로 소형 차등 배기 시스템과 조합하면 1 mTorr 영역의 스퍼터링 시스템에서 1 Torr 영역의 PECVD/PEALD 시스템 진단에도 쉽게 적용이 가능하다. Inficon사의 CPM-300과 Pfeiffer사의 Prisma80을 이용한 플라즈마 식각 공정 분석 결과를 보면 동위원소까지 분석이 가능하다. 또한 전자충돌 이온화 에너지를 조절하여 m/q(질량전하비율)가 중첩되는 경우의 해석도 가능하다. 다중 오리피스를 갖는 compact design의 밸브 블록을 이용한 설계에서는 line-of-sight 입사가 불가능하여 이온 전류를 분석할 수 없다는 단점이 있으나 표준 가스를 이용한 정량화 등의 큰 장점들이 있다. 최근 이루어진 연구의 내용으로는 유도 결합 플라즈마 장치에서 전도성 메쉬를 이용한 라디칼 거동 관찰을 위해서 두 대의 CPM-300을 메쉬 전 후에 설치하여 라디칼의 양 변화를 전류 프로브와 같이 사용하여 조사하였다.

  • A great deal of exhaust gas inside a combustion room goes out through exhaust pipe but residual gas, is called "Blowby gas", enters the crankcase through a small gap between the piston and the cylinder wall. Here, if the crankcase isn't vented, this causes many bad effects such as lubricant oil contamination, corrosion by that and crankcase explosion by rising pressure. So, most automobiles are constituted with a PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system to prevent previous problems. PCV valve is the most important part in this ventilation system. When companies are manufacturing new engines, engineers are designing it depending on their experiments than theoretical knowledge. Mush efforts and times are needed for new development. This study will show quantitative results to increase the possibilities of reduction of developing time.

  • 최근 IoT 센서 즉, 사물 인터넷 기반 기술에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있으며, 다양한 제품들이 출시되고 있다. 대표적으로 홈 IoT 제품으로 가정에서 인터넷과 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 이용하여 가스 밸브, 보일러, 전등 등을 제어하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 하지만, 농업분야에서는 농작물 생산지의 환경 정보를 수집하고, 그에 맞춰 온습도 등을 제어하기 위해 관리자 혹은 생산자가 수동적으로 처리해야만 하는 단점이 존재하였다. 본 논문에서는 비닐하우스와 축산농가 등에서 사용할 수 있는 IoT 센서 기반 무인 관리 어플리케이션을 설계하고자 한다. 사용자가 비닐하우스 혹은 축산농가에 들어가지 않아도 사용자가 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 통해 모니터링 하면서 온습도를 조절하고, 센서의 고장 유무를 파악하여 교체시기를 알려 주는 등의 기능을 포함 한다.

  • 논문에서는 가스 밸브 잠금 확인, 외출 시 타인이 현관문을 열었을 경우의 여부, 귀중품 상자를 열었는지의 여부 등 집안의 상태 변화를 네트워크를 통하여 전송하여 스마트폰으로 확인할 수 있게 하고, 스마트 폰으로 집안의 특정 장치를 제어할 수 있는 집안 환경 체크 및 제어 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이 장치를 활용하여 스마트 폰으로 언제 어디서나 도둑의 침입을 알 수 있으며, 필요시 집안의 장치들을 원격에서 조절할 수 있다.

  • It can be seen through the previous earthquake damages that indirect damages such as those by fire are much greater rather than direct (firsthand) damage by earthquakes. Recently, gas is used very popularly all over the country but no measures have been taken against hazards (or dangers), for instance, such as fires caused by leaking gas pipes when earthquakes occur. Earthquake-Actuated Automatic Gas Shutoff Devices (Shutoff Device) are used to prevent such disaster in other countries. ChungJung Engineering. Co. is making a sample of a Shutoff Device for the first time in Korea. In this study, a derivation of mathermatical model and the important effects of various variables on the shutoff device are mentioned.

  • The packing, among the components comprising the gate valve, is used to sustain the air-tightness and the study on change of shape or pattern has been carried out to maximize the functions, but the study on changing the location or the size of the packing in a bid to prevent the freezing has rarely been implemented. Thus, This study is intended to evaluate the thermal strain of packing by heat transfer from territory of extremely low temperature as well as the temperature distribution to the upper part of the packing using numerical analysis method.

  • Gas flow characteristics within the cylinder is important factors in impoving lean combustion stability. This paper shows the effects of various flow fields generated by a swirl control valve(SCV) on combustion process in a 4-valve spark ignition engine. An impulse swirl/tumble meter was used to elucidation the steady-state flow characteristics, and a rotating grating type LDV was developed to measure the mean velocity and tunbulence intensity in relation to the crank angle. These methodologies were applied to clarify the correlation between gas flow characteristics and combustion stability at a lean air fuel ratio. An analysis of the correlation revealed the gas flow conditions required to optimize a lean-burn system.

  • In the development of new automobiles, the efforts to reduce environmental problems like air pollution have been risen. Blowby gas consists of about $20{\sim}35%$ of total amount of Hydrocarbon (HC), one of dangerous pollutants issuing from automobiles. A PCV valve is a very small component in an automotive engine but it is a very important part. Because that a PCV valve is used to control blowby gas and to recirculate it into a manifold automatically. Although it has very simple operating principle, designing a PCV valve is so difficult due to interaction between fluid and solid. In this study, our purpose is to develop a design program for a PCV valve and to verify its efficiency. Both Bernoulli equation and 4th order Runge-Kutta method were adopted to predict spool displacements and flow patterns. Comparing with experiments, it was found that both spool diameters and displacements were predicted well, however, flow rates showed a little differences because of the assumption of non viscous flow.

Effects of the Flow Characteristics of Helical Intake Port on the Performance and Emission in a Turbocharged DI Diesel Engine. (나선형 흡기포트의 유동특성이 과급식 디젤엔진의 성능 및 배출가스에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to consider that the helical intake port flow and fuel injection system have effects on the characteristics of engine performance and emissions in a turbocharged DI diesel engine of the displacement 9.4L. The swirl ratio for ports was modified by hand-working and measured by impulse torque swirl meter, For the effects on performance and emission, the brake torque, BSFC were measured by engine dynamometer and NOx, smoke were by gas analyzer and smoke meter. As a result of steady flow test, when the valve eccentricity ratio are closed to cylinder wall, the flow coefficient and swirl intensity are increased, And as the swirl is increased, the mean flow coefficient is decreasing, whereas the gulf factor is increasing. Also, through engine test its can be expected to meet performance and emission by the following applied parameter; the swirl ratio is 2.43, injection timing is BTDC $13^{\circ}$CA and compression is 15.5.
