Automation of tunnel face mapping using PDA (PDA를 이용한 터널막장면 정보처리시스템 개발)

  • Due to fast development of digital equipments, various information techniques have been applied to the tunneling and a decision aid system based on IT has also been used during excavation stage. A PDA based informative tunneling method is, therefore, studied in this paper and the decision aids for tunneling using digital face mapping data as well as geologic information in terms of digital data is developed. For this, wireless network, mobile computer, CDMA and digital camera have been combined to generate the digital map of the tunnel face and reinforcement or excavation pattern can be estimated based on digitalized geologic conditions. Future studies will be concentrated on the enhancement of the PDA S/W so that reinforcement method as well as the amount of reinforcements can also be stored in the same DB. Furthermore, field application of the S/W will be undertaken and a virtual reality technique will also be introduced to visualize all the tunneling work on the computer monitor.

  • Over the next 20 years it will begin the exodus from the Internet and smart phones to the Internet of Things. The heart of IoT gives new utility and value with connectivity among things around people to the human. In future, Industrial environment will be intimately connect all among machines and machines or factories and factories in all processing, and by digitizing of all goods and production life-cycle, which is a combination of virtual world and real world, the digital factory will become reality eventually. The proposed IoT or IIoT based Download OTA (Over-the-Air) provides a flexible mechanism for downloading Media objects of any type and size from a network. Moreover, proposed IoT based DLOTA provides a part of security by lightweight encryption, OTP, and CapBAC technique.

A Study on Mobile Game usage of adolescent from Use and Gratifications perspective (이용과 만족 관점에서 본 청소년들의 모바일게임 이용에 관한 연구)

  • Mobile games have emerged as the most innovative entertainment technology, adding new revenue streams, taking advantage of the potential of wireless applications and service offerings. Mobile games, like any other types of computer game, offer a unique value for users in providing an exciting digital experience in virtual worlds. Players can become empowered through the development of new characters and strategies within games to achieve rewarding successes against the computers and other players. In this paper, we attempt to examine the motives of adolescents for playing mobile games. Based on data collected from survey, we have identified Escape, Arousal and Fantasy, Challenge and Competition, Diversion and Relaxation, Social interaction as the key motivators for playing mobile games. We also investigated the extent to which use and gratifications are predicted by demographic factors as well as by gaming experience. Statistical results confirm that most of the demographic factors played critical roles in determining the level of motivations for playing games. The results from this research might give mobile game industry some useful guidelines for developing mobile edu-game and market expansion strategy.

  • Cyber terror and cyberwarfare are no longer virtual, but real, and as an actual security situation, it is necessary to have new understanding through expanding the concept of war to neutralize not only the other country's military command system, but also the country's main functions such as telecommunications, energy, finance, and transport systems, and it also needs to establish the future development strategy of cyber terror response at the national level. Through analysis of cyberwarfare trends in each country and current status of cyberwarfare in Korea, it will systematically explore the demand of new policy based on laws and systems, including the strategies of cyber security technology development, industry promotion, and manpower training and existing information protection policies. through this, it effectively manages a sustainable national crisis, and it suggests to establish a future strategy for the medium and long term cyber security that can effectively and actively respond to cyberwarfare.

  • Superhero films have formed a new genre convention encompassing all the generations. Figures derived from image contents are solid figures produced by means of professional figuration skills. Possession of figures has a symbolic meaning as a medium connecting the imaginary world and real one. From this perspective, figures hold an important position as a character product derived due to market expansion of the content industry. In this context, the study, which analyzed how appraisal of outward visual elements in superhero action figures might affect consumer's purchase intention, aimed to identify their purchase patterns. For this, the study established colors, types of physical body, facial figures and motions as independent variables for appraisal of outward visual elements, and purchase intention as a dependent variable and then conducted a multiple regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the study found that colors, types of physical body and facial figures had a positive influence on purchase intention, while motions had no significant influence.

  • In order to realize the Gbps VPN system, however, newer and more advanced technologies are required to enable wire-rate processing across a wide range of functions and layers. While it is generally accepted that a software soluTion on general-purpose processors cannot scale to process these functionsa wire rate, the KEY POINT is that a software solution on general-purpose processors is the most practical way by which these security allocationscan be developed. Many of these security functions require application layer processing on the content of the packets, and the very nature of application layer software development is characterized by relatively large code size with a high need for portability an flexibility. We have analysed the consideration and specification for realizing Gbps VPN system. from this work. we can obtain a technology of originality.

  • 2009년 미국에서 처음으로 스마트워터그리드의 개념이 도입된 이후로 국내외 국가 기관뿐만 아니라 민간 기업에서도 스마트워터그리드에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 현재 스마트워터그리드는 IBM의 진출을 시작으로 Veolia, Suez 등 다국적 물관리 기업들이 사업을 추진 중이다. 국내의 ICT기술과 수자원시스템의 융합을 통하여 용수 수요 공급량을 실시간으로 파악하고 관리하여 수자원의 지역적 시간적 격차를 해소하는 스마트워터그리드 연구가 국내에서도 진행 중이다. 물관리 시장 주도권을 확보하기 위해 글로벌 물기업간 경쟁이 심화되고 있으며, 개별플랫폼을 구축 활용하여 신규기업의 물산업 진출을 가로막고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 상황에서 국외 물산업 시장 진출을 위하여 통합플랫폼 개발 및 체계적인 데이터 구조 설계가 필요하며, 본 연구는 스마트워터그리드를 운영하기 위해 여러 곳에 분산되어 관리 운영되어지고 있는 수자원 및 물관리 데이터의 통합을 위한 체계적인 데이터베이스 구조설계에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 스마트워터그리드 도메인 내에 주력하고 있는 통합데이터베이스 구조를 외부 데이터 마이닝과 연계하여 확장하는 구조로 현실적이고 단기적인 데이터 통합효과를 위해 ETL/데이터웨어하우스방식을 적용하여 데이터 통합을 추진하였다. 지자체간 분산되어 있는 데이터베이스간의 연동은 관련 법제도 및 지자체간 협의 등 다양한 문제가 연루되어 있어 단기적으로는 B2B 데이터 연동방식을 응용하여 구성하였다. 광역 중앙 제어를 위한 통합데이터베이스는 가상DB 방식을 고려하였으며, 이는 지자체별로 구성된 통합DB에 대한 인터페이스 및 Wrapper 플랫폼을 적용하였다. 이 플랫폼간의 연동은 WaterML2.0을 적용함으로써 단기간내 구현이 가능하도록 하고 상호운용성에 문제를 해결하며, 실시간 데이터 연계를 추구하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 궁극적으로는 수자원 및 물관리 데이터의 통합을 위해 해당플랫폼에서 스키마 맵핑, 프로토콜 변환 정합 등을 실시하며, 실시간 데이터 마이닝 및 통합이 가능하도록 구성함으로써 향후 스마트워터그리드의 빅데이터 플랫폼 개발까지 확장해나갈 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

3D Modeling of Islands using Structured Procedural Method (구조화된 절차적 방법을 이용한 섬 3차원 모델링)

  • With the development of information and communication technology, the demand for indirect experience contents using realistic media is increasing. It is important to keep the overall concept of the models consistently in order to immerse in the contents while watching realistic media. In the case of realistic media that provides an indirect experience of tourist attractions, modeling should be done by reflecting the actual information of the sites in order to provide an accurate experience. In this paper, we propose a three-dimensional modeling method of islands, representative tourism resources of the southern coast, by reflecting actual data. Since the proposed method is performed according to a structured procedure, it makes it easy to maintain the visual consistency of the entire model when several people work together. Implementation results show that the proposed method produces more realistic results than the modeling method using height information simply.

  • Recently, use of cloud computing service is dramatically increasing due to wired and wireless communications network diffusion in a field of high performance Internet technique. Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. In a view of digital forensic investigation, it is difficult to obtain data from cloud computing service environments. therefore, this paper suggests analysis method of AWS(Amazon Web Service) and Rackspace which take most part in cloud computing service where IaaS formats presented for data acquisition in order to get an evidence.

The Effects of Trust and Attachment to Hyper-Realistic Virtual Influencers on Behavioral Intentions: Based on the Trust-Building Model (초현실 가상인플루언서에 대한 신뢰와 애착이 행동의도에 미치는 영향: 신뢰구축모델을 기반으로)

  • Purpose Recently, hyper-realistic virtual influencers have received much attention in the field of corporate marketing. However, there is a lack of research that suggests specific processes affecting behavioral intentions through trust and attachment between virtual influencers and consumers. In addition, previous studies have failed to consider the characteristics of hyper-realistic virtual influencers. Therefore, this study investigates the effects of trust and attachment to hyper-realistic virtual influencers on consumers' behavioral intentions based on the trust-building model. Design/methodology/approach Based on the previous research, seven antecedent factors for trust-building were derived: Reality, Attractiveness, Awareness, Interactivity, Professionalism, Social Presence, and Predictability. Next, the survey was conducted on Chinese people who had experienced interacting with hyper-realistic virtual influencers on social network services within the last 3 months at the time of data collection. A total of 326 respondents were used for the final analysis and hypotheses were tested using a structural equation model technique. Findings The results of this study are as follows. First, this study confirmed that reality, attractiveness, awareness, social presence, and predictability as antecedent factors for trust-building of hyper-realistic virtual influencers have a positive effect on trust. Second, this study confirmed that trust in hyper-realistic virtual influencers has a significant positive effect on attachment. Lastly, this study confirmed that trust and attachment to the hyper-realistic virtual influencer significantly and positively affect relationship retention and purchase intentions.
