증강현실은 가상세계와 현실세계를 혼합한 기술로, 현재 여러 분야에서 증강현실을 접목한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 건설 산업은 복잡한 설계와 시설물을 기반으로 모든 업무가 행해지는 특징으로 인해 증강현실의 활용 가능성이 높은 분야로 주목되고 있다. 스마트폰을 이용하여 교량의 정보를 제공하는 증강현실 기반 교량 정보 시스템(InfoBridge)은 사용자들에게 많은 정보를 제공하기 위해서 최적화된 데이터베이스 모델링이 필요하다. 많은 사용자들이 원하는 정보를 찾을 때 정보의 누락이 없어야 하고 빠른 검색을 통해서 정보를 제공 받아야 한다. 또한 관리자는 사용자가 원하는 정보를 정확하게 제공하기 위해서 데이터베이스의 최신화가 필수이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 증강현실 기반 교량 정보 시스템의 데이터베이스 설계를 제안한다. 우리나라에 있는 많은 교량들의 내/외적인 정보를 데이터베이스에 담기 위해서는 적절한 설계가 필요하며 이러한 설계를 통해서 정보의 빠른 검색, 데이터베이스의 효과적인 유지보수를 제공한다.

Recently, as advancing the technologies for Web 3D and Virtual Reality, the studies have been progressed actively to provide three dimensional information on the web. Especially, the various applications for providing urban information in 3D space have been developed using EAI(External Authoring Interface) that serves an interface between VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language), standard language for embodying virtual reality, and JAVA applet in HTML. In this study, as constructing 3D virtual city information using Digital Map, IKONOS satellite image, VRML and so on, we could provide users which need several information with building location and various urban living information. In addition, applying 3D skills such as texturing, panorama and navigation, users were enabled to perform various route searching and scenery analysis. Finally, to serve urban living information in real time, we designed to search information faster through interfacing database and to update data using ASP(Active Server Page) on web.

Association measures are applied to various applications, including information retrieval and data mining. Each association measure is subject to a close examination to its tendency to prefer high or low frequency level because it has a significant impact on the performance of applications. This paper examines the frequency level preference(FLP) tendency of some popular association measures using artificially generated cooccurrence data, and evaluates the results. After that, a method of how to adjust the FLP tendency of major association measures such as cosine coefficient is proposed. This method is tested on the cooccurrence-based query expansion in information retrieval and the result can be regarded as promising the usefulness of the method. Based on these results of analysis and experiment, implications for related disciplines are identified.

There have been many considerations to develop new content services that integrate a variety of contents databases being already constructed and then produce new content services which are more valuable than existing services in many applications such as Internet portal, EC, and CRM. By doing the above thing, the burden of searching databases to access interesting databases and service applications can be reduced and the database availability of users is also enhanced through a single view integrating multiple contents database. This paper presents implementation details of the query processing system that is a core component of the database integration system, which can construct a virtual database that integrates databases being managed by multiple heterogeneous database systems using XML data model and support a quay facility on the integrated database.

최근에 인터넷 사용량이 증가함에 따라 자료의 양은 많아지고, 서비스 방식도 복잡해지는 문제가 생겨나게 되었다. 그에 따른 해결방안으로 P2P(Peer-to-Peer) 모델은 2000년대에 들어서 다시 컴퓨터 산업 무대의 중심으로 자리 잡게 되었다. 지금까지 잘 알려져 있는 클라이언트/서버 모델은 계속적으로 증가하고 있는 사용자와의 통신 수요에 대한 문제가 있다. 그렇기 때문에 P2P 모델은 이러한 구조에서 벗어나 사용자들 간의 직접적인 정보 교환을 가능하게 해주어 서버의 역할을 최소화 시켜 주었다. 이러한 이점 때문에 현재 많은 기업체들이 P2P 모델을 클라이언트/서버 모델 이상으로 선호하게 되었다. 자바를 이용해서 개발한 P2P용 메신저 통합 서비스에는 기존의 상대방과의 대화뿐만 아니라 파일 공유, 자료의 업/다운, 멀티미디어 채팅으로 상대방의 얼굴을 보며 대화를 할 수 있는 화상채팅 기능이 있고, 친구들을 쉽게 정리하여 사용자만이 관리를 할 수 있는 공유그룹과 폐쇄그룹을 추가하여 보안에 대비 하였다. 또 키워드 검색, 메타 검색으로 더 많은 자료를 손쉽게 찾을 수가 있다. 시스템 상에 XML, 웹 서버, WAP 게이트웨이 서버를 탑재하였고, 가상의 네트워크인 VPN 사용, 그리고 DB를 사용한 회원관리 및 여러 가지 서비스를 제공한다. 향후 P2P 기술은 P2P 검색, P2P 커뮤니케이션, 무선인터넷관련 기술, XML을 이용한 표준통합기술의 발전으로 더욱 침체된 시장에 활력소 역할을 할 것이다.

Environmental data plays an important role to enhance the reliability of experimental results in M&S(Modeling and Simulation). Especially in Military M&S, extreme weather events can be used for virtual training and simulation importantly. However, the environmental data is huge and it is dispersed among multiple organizations. It is difficult for M&S operators to select the date and area where the weather phenomenon occurs in the real environmental data and to acquire them. Environmental data retrieval technology based on Fuzzy criteria is one of the important technologies for developing Environmental Scenario Generator. As a result of this study, a fuzzy retrieval algorithm composed of four main parameters(RV, MF, FRA, and MRV) was presented. This study suggests that the RV can be used as 14 m/s for wind speed and 80 mm/d for precipitation to search the date of storm accompanied by high wind. The MF, the FRA, and MRV can be used sigmoid, 0.2, and 1 respectively. The algorithm proposed in this study is expected to be very useful for searching the date on which weather phenomena necessary for simulation occurred.

This study has attempted to provide an important understanding about the information asymmetry in markets through empirical analysis on how the disclosure of low quality can increase demand even in the short run. More specifically, this study has extended the previous findings from the related literature by considering the effect of information search cost and providing empirical evidences about the effect of voluntary disclosure of low quality, using an experimental method with purchase scenarios. The results from our analysis show that reduced perceived risk have an important effect on sharing negative information, while the effect of information search cost is minimal. We also explain the circumstances whereby the information disclosure of a seller with low-quality product can enhance not only the seller's profitability but also customers' welfare by increasing the market demand and the demand for the seller claiming high quality.

동시공학적 개념을 선박의 설계에 적용하기 위하여 동시공학 지원 시스템을 구축하는 방법을 제시함이 이 연구의 목적이다. Intranet기술의 개방성과 경제성을 이용한 시스템 개발은 조선 산업의 특성에 맞는 지원체계를 구축하는데 합리적인 대안으로 여겨진다. 그간의 동시공학 적용노력인 단위 시스템의 개발을 통한 방식에서 벗어나 정보시스템과 통합을 가능하게 하는 Intranet 방식은 설계와 생산, Life-cycle정보의 통합을 가능하게 해주는 Framework을 제공해 줄 수 있다. 동시공학 지원 시스템의 주요기능의 파악과 필요한 요소기술들의 경향분석을 이 연구의 주내용으로 하고 있다. 가상 설계의 기능, 동시공학 팀의 Workflow, 의사소통 지원, 데이타베이스 검색, 관리, 타시스템 연계, 설계 데이타 view등이 주요 필요 기능으로 여겨진다.

본 연구에서는 LIDAR 포인트 자료로부터 분리된 포인트 군집의 윤곽 포인트 추출을 위하여，가상격자를 이용한 검색 영역의 제한을 통한 윤곽 포인트 추출 방식을 제안하였으며 성능을 평가하기 위해 보편적으로 사용되는 TIN을 이용한 방식과 비교하였다. 실제 건물 포인트 자료에 대하여 적용한 결과 TIN을 이용한 방식보다 빠른 처리가 가능하며 시각적인 평가를 통해 결과물의 품질 면에서도 두 가지 방식이 거의 유사함을 확인할 수 있었다.

UML(Unified Modeling Language)은 소프트웨어 설계뿐만 아니라 네트워크 상에서의 데이터 전송, 가상데이터를 이용한 물리현상, 회로 분석 및 설계 등 다양한 형태의 시뮬레이션에서도 사용되고 있는 모델링 언어이다. 이러한 UML로 개발된 소프트웨어 설계 모델이나 시뮬레이션 모델들을 효율적으로 저장하고 관리할 수 있는 통합 시스템의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 UML 모델들의 저장과 관리의 효율성을 높이기 위해서 저장하부 구조를 데이터베이스화할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 적용한 시스템은 UML 모델들을 다수의 사용자들이 서로 공유할 수 있으며 모델의 재사용성을 높이고 모델 정보의 효율적인 검색을 지원할 것이다.
