지뢰제거작업을 위한 가변 형상 무한궤도형 주행 로봇 (Variable Configuration Tracked Mobile Robot for Demining Operations)

  • This paper introduces a link-type tracked vehicle which is developed for demining operations. The vehicle consists of three parts - front frame, rear frame and body. The front frame is connected to the rear frame by a rotational passive adaptation mechanism which is a driving mechanism of the vehicle. Additionally, the demining system which is adaptable to mobile robot is developed to clear small Anti-Personnel(AP) mines with inexplosive method. In other words, assembled rakes unearth mines by their opposite rotation to the direction of the robot. Finally, the motions of demining rakes and design parameters of the demining system are analyzed.

  • This paper proposes a variable structure position controller for an induction motor(IM) which uses a reaching law and an integral compensating nonlinear switching function. With the reaching law, reaching mode can be established quantitatively during transient state so that dynamic control performance is improved. With the integral compensating nonlinear switching function, both very low overshoot and high steady state control accuracy can be obtained by compensating the states chattering problem due to the unmodelled dynamics of inverter and feedback sensors. For experiment a digital servo driver which consists of a DSP and an IPM inverter was developed. With the various experimental results, IM position control performance was verified.

  • 본 연구에서 개발한 고압증발 모델을 이용하여 고압 연소장에서의 액체연료추진제의 증발 과정을 수치적으로 해석하였다. 고압상태에서 액적의 증발 특성에 중요한 영향을 미치는 실제 기체의 거동, 온도 및 압력에 따른 가변물성치의 영향, 주위기체의 용해현상을 고려하였고 일반적인 상평형 관계식을 이용하였다. 실험치와 비교하여 고압증발모델의 예측능력을 체계적으로 검증하였고 로켓엔진의 고온 고압 연소실조건에서 LOX 액적의 증발 특성을 상세하게 논의하였다.

PI 형 도갈법칙을 가지는 가변구조 제어 (A variable structure controller with a PI-type reaching law)

  • We propose a VSC(Variable Structure Controller) with a PI-type reaching law. In General, conventional VSCs with a reaching law including a discontinuous term have the chattering problem, and thus the system may be unstable due to the disregarded high frequency dynamics in the modeling process. To resolve this problem, the PI-type reaching law is proposed in this paper. The proposed reaching law makes it easy to determine the reaching dynamics as well as the reaching time by utilizing the 2nd-order system analysis. Furthermore, since the discontinous term is not involved in the reaching law, the chattering is considerably reduced. To show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, the stability of the proposed system is proved by Lyapunov method and the computer simulations are performed for the Ball Balance System.

  • In this paper, we propose a new obstacle negotiation method for the rescue robot. The rescue robot has a variable geometry single-tracked mechanism, so it can maximize a contact length with ground for the adaptability to off-road and pursue a stable system due to the lower center of gravity. In this research, we add the basis of autonomous navigation, driving mode control based on obstacle detection, to the robot to realize automation of mode transformation. Obstacle detection using PSD(Position Sensitive Device) infrared sensors gives active transformation of the track shape. Finally, experimental results about mentioned are presented.

가변 문턱치와 순차결정법을 통한 문맥요구형 화자확인 (Text-Prompt Speaker Verification using Variable Threshold and Sequential Decision)

  • This paper concerns an effective text-prompted speaker verification method to increase the performance of speaker verification. While various speaker verification methods have already been developed, their effectiveness has not yet been formally proven in terms of achieving an acceptable performance level. It is also noted that the traditional methods were focused primarily on single, prompted utterance for verification. This paper, instead, proposes sequential decision method using variable threshold focused at handling two utterances for text-prompted speaker verification. Experimental results show that the proposed speaker verification method outperforms that of the speaker verification scheme without using the sequential decision by a factor of up to 3 times. From these results, we show that the proposed method is highly effective and achieves a reliable performance suitable for practical applications.

  • The paper presents a simulation model and analysis of a grid-connected variable speed wind energy conversion scheme (VSWECS) using the PSCAD/EMTDC software. The modeled system uses a variable speed drive, a fixed pitch angle, a synchronous generator as a wind generator and an AC-DC-AC conversion scheme, which facilitates the wind generation to efficiently operate under varying wind speed while connected to the distribution network. The power output of the WECS is controlled by the AC-DC-AC conversion scheme, the objective of which is to capture the maximum active power under varying wind conditions and to keep the voltage magnitude of the terminal bus at a specific level. Aerodynamic models are applied for a wind turbine model. An simulation analysis of the scheme in terms of its responding to wind variations is also presented.

  • In this paper a wind power simulator is designed and implemented. This simulator realize the torque of wind blade by DC motor. And squirrel-cage induction machine is used as generator and controlled to achieve the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) algorithm.

  • This paper proposes the power management technology for stand-alone PV system to extend installation environment and coverage. The proposed power management technology in this paper can protect battery safeness from overcharge/discharge with keeping the proper SOC(State of Charge) and extend using time of system through estimation of operating power. The proposed power management technology in this paper is applied to Infra-free Variable Message Sign. And performance of power management technology in this paper was verified using simulation scenario.

고기동 환경의 약신호 추적루프 설계에 관한 연구

  • 위성신호는 저앙각에 위치하거나 재밍 및 간섭신호의 영향을 받으면 약해진다. 이러한 약신호를 안정적으로 추적하기 위해서는 신호추적루프의 대역폭이 가능하면 작아야 한다. 그러나 작은 대역폭의 신호추적루프는 고기동 환경에서 기준주파수의 주파수오차를 포함한 입력오차가 커져 불안정해진다. 본 논문에서는 최대 저크 15g/s의 동적특성을 가지는 항체의 항법정보를 획득하고 동시에 28dB-Hz의 약신호도 안정적으로 추적할 수 있는 신호추적루프를 연구한다. 이를 위해 위성신호 상태를 예측할 수 있는 SNR, 앙각, 항체의 가속도 등을 고려하여 대역폭 및 PIT를 가변적으로 설계한 적응형 신호추적루프를 설계한다. 또한 약신호인 C/No 28dB-Hz 신호를 안정적으로 추적하기 위해 10ms의 PIT(Predetection Integration Time)와 비트동기를 고려한 Coherent 방식을 적용한 반송파 위상추적루프를 설계한다. 이렇게 설계된 신호추적루프의 성능을 검증하기 위해 항체의 동적환경과 위성신호 크기를 묘사해줄 수 있는 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 위성신호 추적성능을 시험하고 결과를 분석한다.
