Variable Speed Drive of Permenant Split­Capacitor Single Phase Induction Motor Using SHE PWM Inverters (SHE PWM 인버터를 이용한 영구 콘덴서형 단상 유도전동기의 가변속 구동)

  • This paper describes speed control of a permanent split capacitor single phase induction motor using SHE PWM inverters. The inverter is controlled by V55 microprocessor and its range is larger than other systems. Due to the V/F control with SHE(Selected Harmonic Elimination) PWM, continuously variable speed is attained and THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) is decreased. This is verified by simulations and experimental results.

  • 본 연구에서 제안한 가변 출력 직렬공진 고주파 유도가열시스템은 기존 공진회로 트랜스 1차에 여러 개의 탭 제작과 공진회로의 콘덴서를 직, 병렬로 연결하는 등의 간단한 설계방법으로 주파수와 출력을 가변 시켜 실험함으로서 유도가열 시스템 1대로 다양한 피 가열부품 등에 적용시킬 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Performance of Compressor with Variable Capacity (용량가변 방식을 적용한 압축기의 성능연구)

  • In the present study, the variation of input power and efficiency improvement of a scroll compressor applying PWM method are experimentally investigated. The cooling capacity, input power and COP are measured under the cooling operation. The input power due to the change of the condenser and the coil addition in a main current part is measured to enhance the compressor efficiency. Measured results show that the input power and COP increase with increasing the tooling capacity. And the minimum input power of the compressor is observed. By the adoption of the double system, the consumption of compressor input power is reduced, compared with the existing system.

  • When a moving piezoelectric transducer detects an object in water, its receiving sensitivity is attenuated by Doppler effect. In this paper, a method for compensating the effect is suggested by using a newly designed condenser of which capacitance is varied according to the moving speed of the transducer. Using the method, the receiving resonant frequency of the transducer can be changed automatically. As a result, there is good agreement between the results of experiment and those of calculation. It is confirmed that the response sensitivity degradation of transducers due to Doppler effect can be compensated in the range of $1{\sim}10^m/_s$ moving speed.

  • MOSFET 스위칭 소자를 사용하여 하프 브릿지 인버터를 구성하였고 게이트파형과 인덕터, 커패시터의 공진, Preheat 동작을 PSIM으로 구현하였다. LC 공진으로 통해 절연이 파괴되어 램프가 켜지고 Preheat 로 램프 전극 양단에 병렬로 연결되는 LC공진콘덴서 의해 예열되어 불필요한 전력소모를 줄이고 나타내었다. 램프가 켜지는 순간부터 가변저항을 이용하여 램프의 밝기를 조절 할 수 있게 구상하였으며 그 결과를 PSIM으로 시뮬레이션 하였다.

  • 본 논문은 고주파 IH(Induction Heating) 조리기기의 전원으로 사용되는 인버터를 PI 제어기를 사용하여 듀티비를 가변시켜 출력을 최적 제어하는 회로를 제시하였다. 분석에 사용된 기본 인버터 회로는 Single-Ended Push-Pull (SEPP) 영전류 스위칭 공진인버터이며 실제 IH 조리기기의 동작을 구현하기 위해 입력단의 전원으로 220V 60Hz 정현파와 브리지 정류기, 평활 콘덴서를 사용하였다. 회로의 해석과 시뮬레이션을 위해 범용 시뮬레이션 툴인 Pspice를 이용하여 분석하였다. 향후, 제안된 제어방법은 유사한 IH 기기, DC-DC 컨버터, 인덕션 모터등의 시스템에 활용되리라 기대된다.

  • In this paper, variable reactor and capacitor for high-frequency welder are analyzed by optimum design. As the polar panel of high-frequency welder has the role of condenser, the material with the high rate of induced electricity has to be selected in order to manufacture the condenser with the great power cut. And the area of polar panel must be large and the gap between panels must be thin. On the contrary, the resistance is generated and the heat is happened because the large current is flown. To prevent the thermal deformation of this polar panel, the temperature can be lowered by using cooling water and so on. At this point, the speed of cooling water due to deformation and temperature of polar panel can be optimized.

  • For general laser power supply to control the laser power density, the secondary of the power transformer is connected to the rectifier and filter capacitor. The output of a rectifier is applied to a switching element in the secondary of the transformer. So power supply is complicated and the loss of switching is considerably. In addition, according to increasing pulse repetition rate, charged energy of energy-storage capacitor bank is not transferred sufficiently to flashlamp, and laser output efficiency decreases. In this study, we have proposed the power supply in which the SCR was turned on at the zero point of input AC voltage by the method of zero cross control(ZCC). As a result of that, The new power supply employed ZCC are simple and compact in design. And laser output efficiency increased by the 3.5$\%$ other than conventional power supply (SCADC), when a repetition rate was increased by the 10pps. In 60pps, efficiency was increased by about 20$\%$.
