The Sugars Intake through Processed Foods and Its Related Factors in College Students (대학생의 가공식품을 통한 당류 섭취와 관련 요인)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to examine the sugars intake through processed foods and its related factors in college students. Methods: The findings of this study was based on the data obtained from the self-administered questionnaire survey of the sugars intake through processed foods. The self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted among 245 college students between March and April, 2015. Results: The amount of sugars intake through processed foods was 45.9g in male collegians and 47.1g in female collegians. In the bivariate analysis, the amount of sugars intake was significantly different by department of major, current smoking status, subjective health status in female collegians (p<0.05). In the multivariate analysis, the amount of sugars intake was related significantly with current drinking status, sleeping time, degree of depression in male students and student's department of major, current smoking status, whether or not of snack intake in female (p<0.05). Conclusions: The program for college students to decrease the sugars intake through processed foods would be necessary, especially in student of non-health department.

Effects of rolling condition on recrystalized structure and strength in over aged 7075 AI alloy (과시효처리된 7075 AI합금에 있어서 압연조건이 재결정조직과 강도에 미치는 영향)

  • We studied on the effects of hot-worm rolling on recrystalized structures and tensile strength in over-aged 7075 A1 alloy, to develop the process for improving properties. It showed more clear effect of the grain refinement with over-aging before plastic deformation. That means, the coarse precipitates from over-aging play a roll as nucleation sites in the course of recrystallization. And on this study, the relations between yield strength and grain size was not satisfied with Hall-Petch equation because of the elongated structure, but the yield strength is proportional to aspect ratio of grains. In TMT process for improving strength and toughness, the worm working is available for increase of those properties than cold working.

Micro Hole Machining by EDM Using Insulated Tool Combined with Ultrasonic Vibration of Dielectric Fluid (가공액의 초음파 진동 및 절연 공구를 이용한 미세방전가공)

  • This paper describes a micro electrical discharge machining (MEDM) technique that uses an insulated tool in combination with ultrasonic vibration to drill micro holes. As the machining depth becomes deeper, the dispersion of debris and circulation of the dielectric fluid are difficult to occur. Consequently, machining becomes unstable in the machining region and unnecessary electrochemical dissolution and secondary discharge sparking occur at the tool side face. To reduce the amount of unnecessary side machining, an insulated tool was used. Ultrasonic vibration was applied to the MEDM work fluid to better remove debris. Through these methods, a $1000\;{\mu}m$ thick stainless steel plate was machined by using a $73\;{\mu}m$ diameter electrode. The diameters of the hole entrance and exit were $96\;{\mu}m$ and $88\;{\mu}m$, respectively. It took only 351s to completely drill one hole.

Changes in Taste Compounds of Processed Surf Clam(Mactra veneriformis) (동죽(Mactra veneriformis)가공에 따른 정미성분의 변화)

  • The taste compounds including glycogen, nucleotides and their related compounds and free amino acid content of Raw, Boiled and Sun-dried and Boided and 1lot-air dried surf clam(Mactra veneriformis) were investigated. Crude protein and crude lipid content changed little after processing, but ash content of processed surf clam was increased 21.5%. Glycogen content was increased 6.7% in a processed surf clam. In nucleotides and their related compounds there are much ATP, ADP, IMP and Hypoxannthine in raw material, ATP, ADP, IMP content was decreased and Hypoxannthine disappeared after processing, In the raw extract, glycine, alanine, arginine were abundant, holding 85% of total free amino acid contents. After processing, generally 60% of raw material free amino acids content were existed.

  • 통상적으로 코팅가공시 수지의 흐름성을 개선하기 위해서 코팅수지(점도 : 50,000~60,000 Cps)의 점도를 10,000 Cps 이하로 낮추어서 작업을 진행한다. 이때 MEK(Methyl Ethyl Ketone), TOL(Toluene), DMF(Dimethyl Formamide) 등과 같은 유기용제를 사용하여 점도를 조절한다. 본 연구는 기존에 표면처리 코팅용 수지 배합시 유기용제를 사용하는 대신 물을 사용하여 점도 조절이 가능한 표면처리 코팅용 hydrophilic PU 수지를 연구하였다. Prepolymer 법으로 합성한 수지가 One-shot법으로 합성한 수지보다 water dilution 안정성이 우수하며, 친수성 polyol과 소수성 polyol의 비율이 6/4정도가 될 때 water dilution된 수지의 안전성, 투습도 등의 물성이 가장 이상적으로 발현 되는 것을 확인 할수 있었고, 50part의 물과 희석 후 5일 이후에도 상분리가 되지 않음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 개발된 수지의 적용성을 평가한 결과, J-knife를 이용하여 knife over roll 방식으로 $200{\mu}m$의 gap으로 80/120/$140^{\circ}C{\times}10m/min.$의 다단건조 공정으로 진행했을 때 최적의 물성을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Perismmon has been consumed for long times in Korea and used as a drug for a long time in Korea, It was known to help alcohol intoxication. Ingested alcohol is metabilized by alcohol dehydrogenease and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase in liver. Alcohol dehydrogenease activator and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase activator(ALDHA) was detercted in persimmon. The oncentration of ALDHA was determined and compared in different havesting time, species, and available processed foods. The level of ALDHA was highest in persimmon (Fuyu) harvested in November. Lower ALDHA activities were found in its processed foods. Persimmon and its processed foods are expected to be effective in decreasing the concentration of alcohol and acetaldehyde after alcohol intake.

  • In this paper, factors affecting accuracy or grade of forged bevel gears are investigated in the experimental way. Two materials of SKD-11 and copper. two machining conditions and two machines of WIA-V50 and Roders-RFM600 are particularly investigated to reveal their effects on the grade of bevel gear forging dies in this study. It has been shown that the bevel gear grades are much affected by all the factors tested, revealing that it is of great significance to find the optimal machining process of die making to develop or manufacture a high precision bevel gear and that the bevel gear is degraded by one from the grade of its related die during forging.

  • 본 연구에서는 신규원사인 Rayonmimetics(RMM) 섬유를 상품화 된 분산염료를 가지고 염색하여 PET 섬유와 비교하였다. RMM 섬유의 염착률은 기존 PET 섬유와 비슷하였으나, critical adsorption range는 10$^{\circ}C$ 정도 낮았다. Colorimetric properties를 비교해 보면, a${\ast}$값과 b${\ast}$값에서 color에 따른 경향성을 보이며, PET 섬유와 대비하여 duller 해졌다. 견뢰도는 PET 섬유와 비슷한 견뢰도를 보였다.

  • 신발 및 피혁 제품의 분쇄는 섬유의 길이와 물리적인 특성을 고려하여 3${\sim}$4mm 정도의 섬유 길이로 절단되는 Niagara beater가 우수하였고, 섬유간 접착력을 부여하는 Binder 물질로는 NR latex와 EVA emulsion이 인장, 인열강도가 우수하여 NR latex와 EVA emulsion이 7:3의 비율로 혼합하여 사용하는 것이 가장 좋은 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 코팅 처리된 신발 재단 폐기물의 경우 Niagara beater에 Alcalase를 투입하는 것이 분쇄시간의 단축에 유리한 경향을 나타내었고, 건조 공정은 90$^{\circ}C$이하로 유지하는 것이 $^{\triangle}$E값의 변화가 거의 없었고 100$^{\circ}C$에서는 $^{\triangle}$E값이 7.55를 나타내어 황변이 발생하였다.

  • 효소는 주로 면직물의 전처리 및 염색가공에 사용되고 있는데, 공업적으로 적용되고 있는 예로는 아밀라제에 의한 호발, 셀룰라제에 의한 감량 및 유연가공을 들 수 있고, 최근 미국과 일본을 중심으로 연구되고 있는 펙티나제에 의한 정련은 공업화 가능성이 매우 높은 것으로 보고되고 있으며, 글루코스 옥시다제에 의한 표백은 아직연구 초기 단계에 있다. 효소정련이란 기존의 수산화나트륨 대신에 효소를 사용하여 행하는 정련을 말하며, 장점으로는 50-6$0^{\circ}C$ 정도의 온도에서 행하기 때문에 기존 정련법과 비교시 에너지와 용수를 절약할 수 있는 것, 폐수 중에 방출되는 오염물질의 양을 현격하게 줄일수 있을 것, 우수한 생분해성으로 인한 수질오염을 감소시킬 수 있을 것, 부드럽고 스무스하여 자연스런 태를 부여하는 것 및 재현성이 높은 것 등이다.
