가공유제의 인체피해와 친환경 가공 (A Health Hazard and Environmental friendly Machining of Machining Fluids)

  • To decrease environmental damage, the development of environmental friendly fluids provides attractive alternative to the conventional fluids. In this study, the effects of harmful ingredients (Cl, S) contained in the fluids that used in grinding and cutting processes to influence on the nasal cavities of the white rats were measured indirectly. Also, the level of the environmental influence in workshops was graded through analyzing the concentration and chemical ingredients of flying-dust, which generated from the friction and combustion in the cutting process, that for analyzing how harmful the influence of particles to workers then it could be used as the basic data for improving the environment. To improve the conventional machining fluid, which can be harmful on worker's bodies and the environment, the environmental friendly machining method was suggested through analyzing each lubrication properties of vegetable fluid and used-edible oil as alternative fluid. As a result, it was known that an emulsion type fluid might be the main cause leading to some respiratory ailments. Also this paper presents the possibility to use vegetable fluid and used-edible oil as the alternative of cutting fluids.

  • This study was carried out to examine the influences of the cutting fluid to the environment of the small and he medium industries in the Kumi complex. The result of this study shows that the cutting fluid includes a few of hazardrous materials such as phenol and benzen. Therefore a new cutting technology without cutting fluid should be strongly recommended in the nearest future.

  • This paper presents a methodology to analyze the cutting fluid effectiveness in mechanical and thermal terms simultaneously using finite element method and experimental work. Cutting fluid plays many roles in metal cutting process. Mechanically-thermally coupled effectiveness of cutting fluids affect to friction coefficient at tool-workpiece interface and cutting temperature and chip control, surface finish, tool wear and form accuracy. Through this study, it can be explained that the critical behavior of cutting fluids will be able to apply optimal environmentally conscious machining process.

  • 가염성 Polypropylene을 전처리하지 않고 분산염료를 이용하여 염색할 경우, Red 계통 염료의 염착성에는 문제가 없었으나, Blue 계통의 염료는 염료가 소색되어 농도가 현저하게 저하하는 염료가 있었다. 이는 섬유에 처리된 유제에 대한 영향으로 예상되며, 가염성 Polypropylene을 분산염료를 이용하여 염색할 경우 전처리가 매우 중요하다고 하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Recently, environmental pollution has become a significant problem in industry and many researchers have investigated in order to preserve the environment. Environmentally conscious machining and technology have more important position in machining process, because cutting fluid has bad influence on the environment in milling process. This research is the experimental study on high speed machining of aluminum alloys through environmentally conscious machining. In this study, the surface roughness and chip appearance was investigated in the machining of aluminum alloys by dry machining, using cutting fluid and oil mist.
