A Study on the Effect of Chonsei Price Increase on the Index of Financial Industry (전세가격상승이 금융산업 생산지수에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Despite the recent phenomena of Chonsei price increase, low interest rate and low growth, the indexes of financial and insurance industry production showed the results contrary to the common belief that the financial industry is sensitive to such financial crises. This is because the index of financial industry has continuously maintained a certain level of increase as opposed to the index of all industry production. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the dynamic correlation between the index of financial industry production and Chonsei price increase. A vector autoregression (VAR) model, which doesn't have a cointegrating relationship, was used to define the Chonsei price index and the indexes of all industry production and financial and insurance industry, which are macro economic variables, and describe the data. The results of the analysis on the time series data of 183 months from January 2000 to May 2015 showed that Chonsei price increase was not directly derived from the index of financial industry, but the finance industrial index affected Chonsei price increase.

  • 현재 투명전극은 주로 ITO를 사용하고 있으며, ITO는 인듐산화물(In2O3)과 주석산화물(SnO2)이 9대 1의 비율로 혼합된 화합물로 인듐이 주성분이다. 따라서 ITO 사용량의 증가는 인듐의 수요 증가를 이끌어 2003년 이후 인듐 잉곳의 가격이 급등하였다. LCD에 응용되는 금속재료의 가격추이를 비교해보면, 인듐이 가장 큰 변화를 보이고 있으며, 2005년 인듐 가격은 2002년 대비 1,000% 이상 상승하였다가 2007년 이후 500%p 하락하여 2008년 2월 22일 기준으로 톤당 49만 달러에 거래되고 있다. 같은 기간 동안 알루미늄의 가격은 76.6% 상승하였으며 구리는 394%, 주석은 331% 상승하였다. 이러한 인듐의 가격 상승폭은 동일한 기간 동안 다른 금속 재료와 비해 매우 크며, 단위 질량당 가격도 20배 이상 높은 수준이다. ITO의 주성분인 인듐의 이러한 가격의 급등 및 향후 인듐의 Shortage 예상으로 인해 ITO 대체재 확보의 필요성이 증가되고 있다. 태양광 발전산업에서 현재 주류인 결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 변환효율은 꾸준히 향상되고 있으나, 태양전지의 가격이 매년 서서히 하강되고 있는 실정에서 결정질 실리콘 가격의 상승 등으로 고부가 가치 산업유지에 어려움이 있으며, 생산 원가를 낮출 수 있는 태양전지 제조기술로는 2세대 태양전지로 불리는 박막형이 현재의 대안으로 자리매김하고 있으며, 박막태양전지 산업분야가 현재의 정부정책 지원 없이 자생력을 갖추고 또한 시장 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서는 박막태양전지 개발과 더불어 저가의 재료개발도 시급한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 In-line magnetron sputtering system을 사용하여 소다라임 유리기판 위에 박막태양전지용 투명전도성 ZnO(Al) 박막을 제작하였고, 특히 이 박막은 n-형 반도체 특성을 가져야하기 때문에 홀이동도와 개리어농도의 상관관계 및 박막의 두께, 광투과율 특성, 온도 의존성을 조사하였고, 이를 논하고자 한다. (본 연구는 중소기업청의 기술혁신개발사업 연구지원금으로 이루어졌음).

An Evaluation on Price Forecasts for Broiler by Agricultural Outlook (농업 관측 육계 가격 예측치에 대한 평가)

  • Public forecasts for broiler's prices such as Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) outlook information are important for producers and agribusiness decision makers in enhancing economic decision making. However, the KREI forecasts have not been fully evaluated so far. In this study agricultural outlook price forecasts for broiler are evaluated under accuracy-based measures and classification-based measures which test the ability to categorize price movements directionally or within a forecasted range. Agricultural outlook price forecasts for broiler are efficient but biased. In the aspect of the monthly direction of price change 59% of its forecasts over the sample period are correct, and actual prices fall within the forecasted range 32% of the time. Results suggest that it is necessary and meaningful for the agricultural outlook center to evaluate the current forecasting method and try to find an alternative method for improving the forecasting technique.

A Study on the Seoul Apartment Jeonse Price after the Global Financial Crisis in 2008 in the Frame of Vecter Auto Regressive Model(VAR) (VAR분석을 활용한 금융위기 이후 서울 아파트 전세가격 변화)

  • This study analyses the effects of household finances on rental price of apartment in Seoul which play a major role in real estate policy. We estimate VAR models using time series data. Economy variables such as sales price of apartment in Seoul, consumer price index, hiring rate, real GNI and loan amount of housing mortgage, which relate to household finances and influence the rental price of apartment, are used for estimation. The main findings are as follows. In the short term, the rental price of apartment is impacted by economy variables. Specifically, Relative contributions of variation in rental price of apartment through structural shock of economy variables are most influenced by their own. However, in the long term, household variables are more influential to the rental price of apartment. These results are expected to contribute to establish housing price stabilization policies through understanding the relationship between economy variables and rental price of apartment.

Differences between Sale Prices and Lotting Prices in New Multi-family Housing Considering Housing Sub-Market (주택하부시장 특성을 고려한 신규 분양가와 입주후 가격 변화에 관한 연구)

  • This study tried to find differences between housing lotting prices and sale prices owing to new multi-family housing price regulation. As the results of this study, they are as follows; First, this study shows housing market in Busan has a preferences of new housing which has a new housing form differing from the existing housing form. For example, the mixed-use apartment with higher stories shows steeper incline than the apartments with the existing forms. Second, the new housing prices are affected by the information that affect the price of the old existing housing. They are rates of green area of an apartment complex, the number of household, accessibility to downtown Busan and etc.. They are also confirmed factors that affect a rise of used-housing price in other studies. Third, brand value of apartments affects new housing prices. For example, if the major construction companies build the new apartment, it shows a rising trend than any other housing. Therefore, the local construction companies are expected to be put on a disadvantage places than major construction companies. Fourth, the lotting prices are the most important cause that lead to rise the new housing prices. Accordingly, the present lotting prices are expected that upward tendency the purchasing prices of the new housing will not continue, because the lotting prices have risen since the government removed lotting price regulations and exceeded the level of used-housing prices. And it denote that importance of housing sub-market which indicates rates of old existing housing market rising, frist preference Gu, second preference Gu, rate of multi-family housing.

  • The price of agricultural products has changed from year to year, the m ajor c ause o f price fluctuation is the imbalance of supply and demand. Materials which are mainly used in korean cabbage production volume is the forecast model, using the cadastral result, slope calculation is impossible to achieved. For this reason, this implies the drastic decrease of prices and the prediction of supply and demand of field crops that is cultivated in a highland slope area, this situation is being repeated. Therefore, the target area of this research is the slopes of high land, by using 2D and 3D Lidar data for the analysis of the cultivated area. Experiment was carried out in the same area to compare the data differences. The rate of change in the area of slope is quantitatively increasing presented by the regression model. An alternative methodology that can improve the reliability of the calculated slope area using 2D is through cadastral map.

  • Remanufacturing refers to restoring a used product to an acceptable condition for resale in the market of remanufactured items. In this paper, we deal with the acquisition price and remanufacturing decision for remanufacturing systems in the case where the demand for the remanufactured product in a single period is known and the return quantity of the used product is determined by its acquisition price. The quality of the acquired used product is categorized into two classes, high and low, through inspection and different qualities incur different remanufacturing costs. The probability that the acquired used product is categorized as high class can be a constant or random variable. We derive the expected total cost functions, obtain the optimal solutions, and interpret the managerial meaning of the optimal solution for each case. The sensitivity of the optimal solution with respect to the variation of the inspection cost and uncertainty of the quality of the used product is investigated through numerical examples.

  • Energy is essential factor of production for a firm to produce goods and services. If so, what is the condition of maintaining profit of a firm when energy price is going up? In conclusion, the condition is that the rate of productivity improvement should be greater than the rate of energy price increase. To put this concretely, when the elasticity of energy price as to the productivity improvement is greater than the weight of the energy cost on to the total revenue of the firm, the firm can escape the negative effect of energy price increase. This is that, saying that once more, the firm have to reduce the energy cost or promote energy efficiency to maintain appropriate or sufficient profit when energy price is going up fast. Therefore, in this study we will analyze the effect of the oil price increase on the energy saving investment and that of energy saving investment on the energy efficiency in the field of Korean manufacturing industry. In doing so, this study could show that the effect of energy price increase on the energy efficiency of the firm and the factor of that mechanism.

  • A new revenue recognition standard was adopted in 2018. The purpose of this paper is to analyse how K-IFRS 1115 'Revenue from Contracts with Customers' affects the revenue recognition of the telecommunication firms and to suggest a regulatory policy for the telecommunications industry. It shows identifying performance obligations for bundles, determining the transaction price and allocating the transaction price to the performance obligation and how to account for it using case study. The most important change in the telecommunication companies's revenue is to allocate the transaction price to two performance obligations: telecom services and mobile handset sales. As a result, sales revenue are expected to drop en masse. This study provides important implications for the regulatory accounting policy of the telecommunications industry.
