This paper reports the results of descriptive research aimed at determining the effects of the administrative hospital staff members' organization-based self-esteem and work engagement on their organizational citizenship behaviors. The participants of the study were 200 administrative staff members of general hospitals, each with 200 beds or more, located in B city. Data were collected from March 15 to 30, 2017, and analyzed statistically using a t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. The organizational citizenship behaviors differed significantly according to whether they had an experience of turnover (t=-4.260, p=.000) and how long they had served at their present work (t=3.297, p=.039). In addition, the organizational citizenship behaviors had strong positive correlations with the organization-based self-esteem (r=.454, p=<.000) and work engagement (r=.595, p<.000). In addition, the factor that explained the organizational citizenship behaviors most significantly was work engagement, followed by organization-based self-esteem and the period of service at the present work. All three factors accounted for 41% of those behaviors. These findings suggest that the hospital should perform internal marketing or improve its welfare system to make administrative staff members raise their self-esteem based on their organization. Moreover, the hospital should form an organizational culture of its own, in which administrative staff members feel the importance of their job, enjoy it and are given autonomy in job performance, ultimately contributing to the development of hospital management.

This study was conducted to identify professional self-concept, academic self-efficacy and department satisfaction among 327 nursing students to determine whether professional self-concept or academic self-efficacy has an impact on department satisfaction. Data were collected from May 29 till June 12, 2017 and subjected to frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression analyses using SPSS version 22.0. The results revealed that purpose of admission to school, relationship with peers, and academic achievement significantly influenced professional self-concept, academic self-efficacy and department satisfaction, whereas gender, age, and religion did not. Additionally, there was a positive correlation between professional self-concept, academic self-efficacy, and department satisfaction. The factor that had the greatest impact on department satisfaction was professional self-concept, although academic self-efficacy and consideration of aptitude for major were also significant influencing factors. Overall, the results indicate that there is a need to develop and apply a variety of programs that can be used to increase professional self-concept to increase department satisfaction among nursing students. Accordingly, further studies are needed to increase academic self-efficacy among students and consider aptitude when admitting students.

This study was conducted to investigate the mediated effects of self-efficacy in relation to communication competency within the medical team and turnover intention of hospital nurses. Data were collected from 208 nurses working at two university hospitals. In analyzing data using SPSS/WIN 23.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and after analyzed with Multiple regression analysis using Baron & Kenny's 3 stage procedure, confirmed indirect effect with Sobel test. Evaluation of relationships among communication competency, turnover intention and self-efficacy of subjects revealed a negative relationship(r=-0.22, p=0.001) between communication competency and turnover intention, a positive relationship(r=0.61, p<0.001) between communication competency and self-efficacy and a negative relationship(r=-0.25, <0.001) between self-efficacy and turnover intention. Concerning the mediated effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between communication competency and turnover intention, the influence of communication competency at stage 1 on turnover intention was significant(${\beta}=-0.22$, p<0.001), but communication competency at stage 3 had no significant influence on turnover intention(${\beta}=-0.11$, p=0.194). Accordingly, the mediated effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between communication competency and turnover intention fully mediated and the mediated effect of self-efficacy was significant(z=-2.15, p=0.032). Heightening self-efficacy by improving communication competency could effectively reduce the turnover intention of nurses.
LOD(Linked Open Data) is composed of RDF triples which are based on ontologies. They are identified, linked, and accessed under the principles of linked data. Publications of LOD data sets lead to the extension of LOD cloud and ultimately progress to the web of data. However, if ontologically the same things in different LOD data sets are identified by different URIs, it is difficult to figure out their sameness and to provide trustworthy links among them. To solve this problem, we suggest a Trustworthiness Improving Link Evaluation, TILE for short, technique. TILE evaluates links in 4 steps. Step 1 is to consider the inference property of syntactic elements in LOD data set and then generate RDF triples which have existed implicitly. In Step 2, TILE appoints predicates, compares their objects in triples, and then evaluates links between the subjects in the triples. In Step 3, TILE evaluates the predicates' syntactic property at the standpoints of subject description and vocabulary definition and compensates the evaluation results of Step 2. The syntactic elements considered by TILE contain RDFS, OWL, OWL2 which are recommended by W3C. Finally, TILE makes the publisher of LOD data set review the evaluation results and then decide whether to re-evaluate or finalize the links. This leads the publishers' responsibility to be reflected in the trustworthiness of links among the data published.

This study was conducted to describe the attitude toward pressure ulcer prevention, knowledge and non-compliance risk for pressure ulcer prevention practice and degrees of nursing performance, as well as to examine the relationship among these variables. To accomplish this, we invited 397 nurses from four hospitals to complete surveys of attitude toward pressure ulcer prevention, knowledge and certainty for pressure ulcer prevention practice, and degrees of nursing performance. Non-compliance risk for pressure ulcer prevention practice was derived from the difference between knowledge and certainty for pressure ulcer prevention. The data were collected from March to June 2017 and analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, ANOVA, and partial Pearson's correlation coefficient testing. The correct answer rate regarding the knowledge of pressure ulcer prevention practice was 79%, and the degree of pressure ulcer prevention nursing performance was $2.46{\pm}0.31$. The highest item of the non-compliance risk for pressure ulcer prevention practice was incontinence diapers prevent incontinence-associated dermatitis. There were significant negative correlations between non-compliance risk for pressure ulcer prevention practice and knowledge (r=-0.25, p<0.001), and degree of pressure ulcer prevention nursing performance (r=-0.13, p=0.009). Continuous education and furnishing practical guidelines for pressure ulcer prevention should be implemented to improve knowledge and certainty of pressure ulcer prevention practice.

This descriptive study aims to examine the factors that influence nursing students' adaptation to clinical practice. Data was collected from 180 nursing students between April 26 and May 4, 2018. A self-reporting questionnaire was employed, which comprised of 17 questions regarding transition shock, 24 questions about social support, two questions regarding the levels of preparedness for clinical practice, and 14 questions about the degree of adaptation to clinical practice. Collected data was analyzed using t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and stepwise multiple regression, as well as by calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient. Subjects' degree of adaptation to clinical practice had a negative correlation with their transition shock. The degree of adaptation had a positive correlation with the levels of preparedness for clinical practice (r = 0.35) and the sub-variables of social support in the domains of friends (r = 0.24), parents (r = 0.32), and professors (r = 0.38). The smaller the transition shock (B = -0.409) and the greater the levels of preparedness (B = 0.766), professorial support (B = 0.228), and parental support (B = 0.163), the higher the degree of adaptation to clinical practice. Transition shock had the greatest influence on the degree of adaptation to clinical practice felt by subjects, followed by their level of preparedness for clinical practice and professorial support. Hence, to increase the degree of adaptation to clinical practice, not only should individual nursing students be better prepared to conduct clinical practice and professors provide greater support, but also there needs to be measures implemented to reduce transition shock.

This descriptive study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting the mental health of university students. Data were collected from 312 university students by questionnaires and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The mean scores were 1.69, 1.87 and 2.21 out of 5 on Likert scales for mental health, campus life stress and employment stress, respectively. The mean score for self-esteem was 2.27 out of 4 on a Likert scale. Gender and number of close friends affected mental health significantly. Moreover, there was a negative correlation between mental health and self-esteem(r=-.426, p<0.001), while a positive correlation was observed between mental health and campus life stress (r=0.660, p<0.001), and mental health and employment stress(r=.517, p<0.001). Multiple regression analysis showed that campus life stress (${\beta}=.545$), self-esteem(${\beta}=-.145$), and employment stress (${\beta}=0.067$) affected mental health in order, and the three research variables led to a 45.2% prediction for mental health of university students. Based on the results of this study, effective systematic plans for decreasing campus life stress and employment stress and increasing self-esteem are needed to improve the mental health of university students.

This study was a descriptive investigation of the effects of nursing students' major satisfaction and professor-student interaction on their adjustment to university life. For this investigation, data were collected from July 22 to August 15, 2017. The collection was made through a questionnaire survey of nursing students in their 1st or 2nd year at one of eight colleges or universities located in B Metropolitan City, U Metropolitan City and G City. Participants were informed of the purpose of the study and agreed to participate in it. Of all the questionnaire sheets collected after the survey, those filled in by 205 participants were finally used for analysis here, with those by others excluded because they were considered to have been inappropriately filled out. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. Nursing students surveyed in the study were significantly different from one another with respect to adjustment to university life depending on grade, health status, interpersonal relationships, desired career, academic achievement and family life level. Moreover, nursing students who had higher satisfaction with their major and more interactions with their professors were likely to adjust better to university life. In addition, regression analysis revealed that the nursing students' satisfaction with their major had the biggest effect on their adjustment to university life. Taken together, the results suggest that nursing students in their 1st or 2nd year of school should continue to be provided with curricular or extracurricular programs designed to improve their major satisfaction and that they should be given opportunities for communication with or counseling from their advisors or other nursing professors from the onset of university life.

This study was a descriptive study, analyzing the clinical judgment process that occurs in a simulation of practice education for nursing students applying to LCJR. Subjects were two nursing college students in S city. Fever scenario and apnea scenario, including mock patient, were implemented. Data collection was conducted between September, 2013 and December, 2014. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, paired t-test, and Pearson's correlation of PASW statistics 18.0 program. The result of this study revealed that the clinical judgment scores of nursing college students were 30.50 for males and 29.32 for females. Nursing Clinical judgment score for the apnea scenario was higher than the score for the febrile scenario, and nursing students' self-evaluation and professors' evaluation showed a significant correlation with respect to the responding domain. In comparison the student and faculty ratings, domain of interpreting and domain of reflecting were significant This study will provide educators with foundational knowledge of program development to enhance nursing students' clinical judgment abilities. We suggest more discussion on their nursing practice and judgment during debriefing session may be beneficial for students.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among work-life balance, compassion satisfaction, compassion fatigue and burnout on grit and to identify the factors that have an influence on the grit of clinical nurses. The participants in this study were 150 nurses in the two general hospitals located in Y city. The data was collected from February 4, 2019 to February 22, 2019, and it was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS Win. 22.0 program. The average score for work-life balance was 3.14±.68, it was 29.71±4.89 for compassion satisfaction, it was 28.88±4.83 for compassion fatigue, it was 31.22±5.32 for burnout, and it was 3.11±.40 for grit. Grit was significantly different according to educational level (t=2.370, p=.019). Grit in clinical nurses was significantly correlated with work-life balance (r=.239, p=.003) and compassion satisfaction (r=.371, p<.001), while grit was a negatively correlated with burnout (r=-.493, p<.001). The result of the multiple regression indicates that burnout and educational level predict 30.4% (F=15.80, p<.001) of grit. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a burnout treatment program to increase the grit in clinical nurses.
