The Effect of Design-Oriented Model (NDIS) based on Computational Thinking in SW Education (SW 교육에서의 컴퓨팅 사고력 기반 디자인 중심 모형(NDIS)의 효과분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the design - oriented model (NDIS) for enhancing learner's computing thinking in SW education. NDIS is a project-based learning model in which learners find real-life problems, analyze their needs, and design and implement them. In order to verify the effectiveness of NDIS, we experimented with middle level G education university students who had previously experienced SW education class. The traditional project model was applied to the control group and the NDIS model based on CT was applied to the experimental group. The experimental group showed a higher CT narrative performance evaluation score than the comparative group, which showed a significant difference. In addition, students showed a positive perception of self-confidence and CT improvement in solving real-life problems using computing.

  • This paper presents an algorithm for segmentation of 3D triangular mesh data. The proposed algorithm uses iterative merging of adjacent triangle pairs based on the orientation of triangles. The surface is segmented into patches, where each patch has a similar normal property Thus, each region can be approximated to planar patch and its boundaries have perceptually important geometric information of the entire mesh model. The experimental results show that the Proposed algorithm is peformed efficiently.

  • 국어에서 wh-단어가 포함된 의문사 의문문과 부정사 의문문은 통사적으로 같은 구조를 가지지만 의미적으로는 중의 관계에 있다. 그러나 두 의문문은 문장으로 발화될 때 음성적으로 서로 다른 여러 가지 운율 특징의 차이를 보여줌으로써, 발화 차원에서는 더 이상 중의 관계를 유지하지 않는다. 본고에서는 이러한 중의성의 해소는 두 의문문의 초점이 달리 실현되기 때문이라고 본다. 기존의 연구에서는 두 가지 의문문의 억양 연구를 초점의 작용 범위와 문말 억양의 차이, 강세구 형성의 유형을 중심으로 고찰하였다 .그리고 의문사와 부정사의 의미는, 이에 후행하는 서술어와 형성하는 강세구 유형에서 우선적으로 그 의미가 구분될 수 있다고 보았다. 그러나, 본고에서는 국어의 wh-단어가 초점으로서 작용하는 운율적 돋들림을 좀더 다양한 환경에서 실험하였다. 그리고 의문사${\cdot}$부정사와 후행하는 언어단위의 강세구 형성(accentual phrasing) 유형, 의문사${\cdot}$부정사 의문문 전체 문장 억양의 실현 양상, wh-단어 자체의 음의 높낮이(pitch contour) 실현 유형, 문말 억양(boundary tone)에서 음의 높낮이를 대상으로 분석하였다.

A Critical Examination of Shapin's Social Constructivism (세이핀의 사회구성주의에 대한 비판적 고찰)

  • The purpose of the paper is to examine the validity of social constructivism embodied in Shapin's case study of Boyle's air pump as a typical case study of the sociology of scientific knowledge. I shall argue that scientific activity has not only epistemic dimension but also non-epistemic dimension, and that social constructivism has put too much emphasis on non-epistemic social dimension such that it cannot provide any balanced understanding of scientific knowledge. I shall first examine the epistemic dimension of the debate between Boyle and Hobbes about air pump, then examine Shapin's view emphasizing epistemic one. Finally I consider some limits of social constructivism shown in Shapin's view.

  • IT분야의 하드웨어 발달에 따라 저전력, 저가 및 센싱 및 통신이 가능한 IoT 디바이스들 출시 되고, 이를 이용한 새로운 솔루션 제품들이 출시되면서 IoT 시장 규모가 급격히 확대 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 IoT 기기들의 연동을 통한 시너지 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 상황 인식 추론 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대해 서술한다. 해당 시스템은 상황 인식을 위한 상황 정보를 기존의 상황 인식 시스템과는 달리 클라이언트 기기에서 규격화 하여 서버로 전송한다. 이러한 이기종 데이터의 규격화는 RDF 문서의 정보 표기 방법인 Triple을 이용해 이루어진다. 이후, 서버로 전송된 상황 정보는 추론 엔진을 통해 현재 상황에 대한 추론 결과를 도출하고, 사용자에 의해 입력된 룰을 기반으로 상황에 적합한 서비스를 제공한다. 해당 시스템의 정상 동작 확인 여부를 위해, 본 논문에서는 방범 시나리오를 설정하여 테스트를 진행하였다.

  • This paper dealt with the Performance Modeling of a low-bypass turbofan engine for supersonic aircraft. The Pratt and Whitney F100-PW-229 engine has been employed for low-bypass turbofan engine performance modeling. Generally, The complete commercially-classified information concerning the engine are unknown. So, Components' generic characteristics are described and assumptions made in order to model the F100-PW-229 engine performance model. All the analysis has been undertaken using published data taken from the open literature. The results of the Engine Performance using Gasturb11 showed that the Engine performance model was evaluated to be properly constructed.

  • Traditional propellants release toxic gases during combustion that are harmful to the environment. This study describes a novel synthetic process of two high nitrogen containing tetrazines, TATTz and BTATz, which can be adapted as solid fuels for a solution to environmental concerns. The compounds were characterized by NMR, IR spectroscopy, and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). Detonation properties were calculated with the EXPLO5 program based on calculated heats of formation and measured densities.

  • In this paper, manufacturing processes of cylindrical composite lattice structures using filament winding method was described. Cylindrical composite lattice structures were manufactured in accordance with four major steps. Silicon mold of lattice shape was installed on mandrel and then continuous fiber was wound on silicon mold. After winding process, in order to ensure the same thickness for all regions, compression process was done for its intersection parts. Finally, the composite lattice structure was demoulded after curing in oven. It was found that the manufactured cylindrical composites lattice structure had 2.4% of dimensional error compared to the design requirements.

  • In this paper, prediction of progressive interlaminar fracture in curved composite laminates under mode I loading was described. The prediction of progressive interlaminar fracture in curved composite laminates was conducted using cohesive zone model(CZM) in ABAQUS V6.13. Interlaminar fracture toughness used as input parameters in CZM was obtained through mode I, mode II and mixed mode I/II tests. The behaviors of progressive interlaminar fracture for curved composite laminates showed a good agreement between experimental and numerical results.

First Reports of Five Endophytic Fungi Isolated from Leaves of Plants Inhabiting the Hansando Island in Korea (한산도에 서식하는 식물의 잎에서 분리된 5종의 국내 미기록 내생균)

  • Endophytic fungi were isolated from the leaves of plants inhabiting the Hansando Island in Korea. We identified the fungal strains based on their morphological characteristics and on the phylogenetic analysis using DNA sequences of the internal transcribed spacer, small subunit rDNA, large subunit rDNA, and translation elongation factor 1- α regions. In this study, we isolated five endophytic fungi that have not been recorded in Korea, Arthrinium camelliaesinensis, Beltraniella humicola, B. portoricensis, Microxiphium theae, and Piceomphale pinicola. Their morphological characteristics as well as the results of molecular phylogenetic analysis are reported here.
