Marketing Strategic for Postal Business in E-Communication Age (E-Communication 시대에 우정사업 마케팅전략)

  • This study aims at suggesting marketing policies for the postal business to accommodate itself to the rapidly changing business environment. Especially according to the development of Internet, the decrease of the market that is the basis of postal business enables the reason for the existence of postal business to be lost. In this environmental change, this article is a study that explained the survival policies of postal business in terms of marketing. This study, as a theoretical research, examined the current situations of postal business by means of the environment analysis of universal services and postal business, and as a practical research, this study suggested the new paradigm of postal business, the strengthened universal services, and the marketing policies in viewpoint of the diversified businesses by means of the practical investigation of the course of postal business focusing on the postal service users.

  • The off-screen space openness of the movies converted a unilateral communication, which films have made audiences understand with, into an interactive communication. When the spectators see a movie, the off-screen space will be able to take out their positivity and induce their deep thinking. They won't accept information of the screen by manual operation but will participate in the narrative stories of the cinemas, thinking about the reality. In the paper, it shows that the motion pictures, which Jean Renoir and Michelangelo Antonioni produced, consist of the expressive forms of the off-screen space as well as a human has the ability sense, feeling, perception and memory associated with interacting between the off-screen space and audiences.

  • Biodiesel is a renewable and environmentally friendly liquid biofuel for transportation. Insect is considered as a new valuable biomass to convert into biodiesel. In particular, BSF(Black Soldier Fly) containing high fat is a renewable source of biodiesel. Biodiesel drived BSF has high concentration of saturated fatty acid methyl ester and low concentration of polyunsaturted fatty acid methyl ester which makes it potentially an ideal substrate for producing excellent quality biodiesel. Most of the fuel properties of BSF biodiesel were met the requirements of standard EN 14214. BSF have a higher lipid yield and biodiesel productivity as compared to microalgae and vegetable oils. This review paper includes the overall summary and compilation of the insect research conducted on biodiesel production and includes the BSF biodiesel properties.

Educational Software Development of Bluetooth Protocol for Protocol Monitoring and Emulation (프로토콜 모니터링 및 에뮬레이션 기능을 제공하는 블루투스 프로토콜의 교육용 소프트웨어)

  • In addition to wired communication technology, wireless communication technology has been driving communication revolution nowadays. Bluetooth technology carries out data/voice communication making pico-net and the various application services are supported by access network connected to public network. This paper presents educational software development of bluetooth protocol stack including HCI, L2CAP, RFCOMM, SDP and profiles including GAP, SPP, GEOP, FTP. This software which supports programming environment of these protocol monitoring and emulation is implemented basically step by step for education based on H connected to the bluetooth device through RS-232-C, UART or USB cable. Application program coded by Visual C is operated over the firmware loaded on the bluetooth device connected to the PC. Additionally ftp and chatting function are developed to enhance educational efficiency.

  • This research implemented VoIP phone for Advertisement service that used display(LCD) of internet telephone. If it is advertised using this advertisement service model, We don't make payment printing cost and delivering cost for advertisement. And the advertisement using VoIP phone can deliver to customers in real-time that high grade advertising exposure. The customer can use information about opening and closing store in real-time. Hence, in this paper we suggest more efficient advertisement technique using VoIP phone for Advertisement service.

  • Recently, the computer vision has been applied to many automation fields. Especially, this paper presents a maritime traffic detection system using computer vision since the high level information can be obtained using obtained area information. The high level informations are obtained such as speed, queueing length, queueing time, ship size, and ship kind. To get ship speed, the two detection lines are set on the predetermined screen position. The speed is obtained the passing time and the predetermined distance between the first and second detection line on the screen. Also, queueing length and time are gotten using screen position of ship. Furthermore, the size and kind of ship are calculated using the ship database and camera calibration data. This developed system contributes to reduce the traffic accidents on the coast. Futhermore, the more information can be extracted using obtained area information.

  • In this paper, storing and removing method of broadcasting content is proposed for personalized consumption. The main objective of this paper is to keep personalized information, such as additional contents, user creation data, usage history, with broadcasting content, and user can consume broadcasting content to accommodate individual preference. Consequently, proposed file format in this paper is based on MPEG-4 and MPEG-21 file format because they can access and extract data within file format easily and can keep spatiotemporal relation between data. In addition, TV-Anytime metadata is used for program description metadata. Finally, proposed method is verified with file format player and useful application scenarios.

  • The LLC series resonant converter with a LLT (Inductor-Inductor-Transformer) transformer design process and experimentation results for PDP TV power supply is presented. LLT transformer used to combine the inductor and transformer into one unit has the increased leakage inductance in the primary and secondary due to the winding method and the use of the gaped core. The increased leakage inductance in the primary and secondary of LLT transformer can be impacted on the DC voltage gain characteristics of LLC series resonant converter, In this paper, DC gain characteristics and the experimental results of the LLC series resonant converter with a LLT transformer are verified on the Math-CAD simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the 600W experimental prototype.

  • When DRM systems are built on a specific computing platform and a coding algorithm, the interoperability among them will be improbable. For enhanced compatibility, MOSES has been developed such that it has a structure that can be decomposed into independent modules for interoperability with other DRM systems with IPMP functionality. In MOSES, security in contents transaction is provided by JPWallet which controls licenses with key management. In this paper, we present the structure of JPWallet and how the keys are handled between contents servers and contents-consuming clients. The PDA-based codes from the prototype MOSES system have been ported into PC-based codes and tested for compatibility. Analysis of JPWallet, which is the core of MOSES, will contribute to the standardization of domestic IPMP systems compatible with global standards.

  • IEC61850은 변전소 자동화 시스템에 관한 국제 표준이다. IEC61850-10에서는 시스템을 구성하고 있는 각 기기들이 IEC61850 국제표준을 준수하고 기기들간의 상호운영성을 입증하기 위해 적합성 검사를 정의한다. 하지만 IEC61850-10에서 기술된 내용은 무엇을 검사할 것인지에 대해 추상적 방식으로 서술하고 있고 어떻게 검사하는지에 대해 구체적 방법의 제시는 부족하다. 이에 대해 UCA IUG(International Users Group)는 품질 보증 프로그램(QAP)을 운영한다. QAP는 IEC61850에 따른 검사절차에 대해 명시할 뿐만 아니라 그룹에 참여한 모든 사람들에게 이득을 가져다준다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 QAP에 대해 소개한다.
