  • Object-oriented methodologies are widely used in the development of huge and complex systems since these methodologies produce the comprehensible and extensible model of systems. In order to apply an object-oriented methodology to a software development, developers should derive a method customized to a specific project from the methodology and, then, construct a development process from the method. Unfortunately, existing object-oriented methodologies lack a systematic facility for the construction of a method and a process. In this paper, we present a customizable object-oriented methodology to support the systematic derivation of a project specific method from the generic methodology. To derive a project specific method from the methodology, we transform the problem of a derivation to a planning problem and apply planning techniques. Our planning technique uses the description of an architecture that captures the structure and characteristics of a software under development as input and constructs an appropriate method with respect to the architecture. The architecture-centered construction facilitates the effective handling for the characteristics of the software since an architecture capture the decisions that must be maintained consistently during the development.

  • SDL-92, the language for specification and description of system, has held on to the communication method that based on processes and signals in the adoption of object-oriented concept to embrace the previous documents of system specification and description and users. It has caused problems, not only the absence of corresponding concepts in automatic generation to object-oriented language program based on method and object, but also some side effects accompanied by them like visibility and communication method. So, in this paper, we present a general object-oriented language model, which based on method and object, make a study of problems in the transformation fromSDL-92 to proposed model, and then propose conceptual transformation methods to solve them. The proposed transformation method can utilize the built-in parallelism in objects and guarantee the compiler level portability in translated program by providing translation into the syntax of target language.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of organizational culture on job satisfaction and to explore the moderating effect of locus of control. The study examined adhocracy culture among organizational cultures and divided into internals and externals for moderating effect of locus of control. The data analysis was used to SAS Ver 9.4 and PLS Ver 3.0. The test was conducted by 283 employees working at large, small-medium company and public enterprise in Mongolia. The results indicate that the positive adhocracy culture and job satisfaction were statistically supported. And this study found that internals moderating roles in the relationship between adhocracy culture and job satisfaction. Based on the findings of this study, the study presented managerial implications and suggestions for future studies.

  • An ROP attack creates gadget sequences which consist of existing code snippets in a program, and hijacks the control flow of a program by chaining and executing gadget sequences consecutively. Existing defense schemes have limitations in that they cause high execution overhead, an increase in the binary size overhead, and a low applicability. In this paper, we solve these problems by introducing zero-sum defender, which is a fast and space-efficient mitigation scheme against ROP attacks. We find a fundamental property of gadget execution in which control flow starts in the middle of a function without a call instruction and ends with a return instruction. So, we exploit this property by monitoring whether the execution is abused by ROP attacks. We achieve a very low runtime overhead with a very small increase in the binary size. In our experimental results, we verified that our defense scheme prevents real world ROP attacks, and we showed that there is only a 2% performance overhead and a 1% binary size increase overhead in several benchmarks.

  • The e-navigation in IMO(International Maritime Organization) has been developed as a strategy for user oriented service followed by HEAP(Human Element Analysing Process) to assess the solutions in view of human ergonomics. Although IMO already had an interim guideline for human element assessment, it did not include appropriate human elements for user-oriented assessment, therefore there should be a need for revising the human elements of current guideline for ergonomic assessment of e-navigation. We have developed user-oriented human element checklist, threat elements caused by human external condition and error elements originated by human itself in line with the e-navigation development concept of user-based approach.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze impact of internal marketing on job satisfaction, job commitment, organizational commitment, and customer orientation in rapidly changing health care environment. The data were collected from 635 employee of 3 hospitals using a standardized questionnaires in Busan and Gyeongnam province. The results were as follows. All internal marketing factors had a direct impact on job satisfaction, job commitment, management support, empowerment, reward systems but affected the indirect through the job satisfaction all factors of internal marketing. Based on the results of this study members of the hospital in order to improve customer orientation, job satisfaction, job commitment create a pleasant working environment, give an appropriate decision-making and compensation for work performance. Compensation for work performance and organizational development suggestions should be considered by executive support.

  • Main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the self core evaluation of local public officials on the customer-oriented public service provision. Structural Equation Model was applied to analyze the relationship between self core evaluation and customer oriented public service attitude. From theoretic point, establishing the relationship between psychological concept(self core evaluation) and attitude is contribution to existing literature in this area. Positive structural relationships between self core evaluation and customer-oriented attitude was confirmed from empirical analysis. While variable job engagement took intermediating role between self core evaluation and customer-oriented attitude. The result implies that organizational psychological approach might be a more effective policy measure to improve citizen's satisfaction for public services. For a extended periods, Korean government introduced various institutional arrangements to improve the customer satisfaction for public service. Hoever, the result was not satisfactory. The result of this study suggest psychological approach to improve public service customer satisfaction.

  • Aspect-Oriented Software Development(AOSD) is the software development methodology that classifies concerns of the system and identifies crosscutting concerns and organizes aspect class, and AOSD has emerged as an important user-oriented software development methodology with high maintainability. However, most of related studies worked on identification and specification and coding of crosscutting concerns. And there have been few studies on slicing technique for tracing method of specified crosscutting concerns. Therefore, this paper proposes slicing technique based on AOSD that identifies and specifies crosscutting concerns through interactive analysis between use cases; also, suggests slicing technique which improves traceability centering on identified crosscutting concerns; applies the aspect-oriented slicing technique to Learning Management System(LMS) for case-study. LMS is a cyber educational system that demands a lot of functional changes and expansion, so it is effective to apply AOSD with high maintainability in developing LMS; and shows the results that compared with related studies by comparing six elements.

  • This Study is an analysis on the effects of relational factors(shared transformational leadership) among leadership, employees' job satisfaction and customer orientation. To accomplish this, it was determined that the analysis derived from a hypothesis and literature reviews and data collected from 322 F&B employees of five-star hotel in Seoul. The collected data has been analyzed by SPSS 14.0. and results were as follows. First, transformational leadership(charisma, individual consideration, intellectual stimuli) would affect job satisfaction, It was found that charisma had a positively significant effect on job satisfaction alone while individual consideration and intellectual stimuli had a positively significant effect on job satisfaction. Second, job satisfaction would affect customer orientation, It was found to have a positively significant effect on the relations with customer orientation. Based on the results of this study, suggestions about hotel managers' transformational leadership, employees' job satisfaction and customer orientation were made.

  • Java provides support for Web, concurrent programming, safety, portability, and GUI, so there is a steady increase in the number of Java users. Java is based on the object-oriented concepts such as classes, instances, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. However the JVM(Java Virtual Machine) hides most of the phenomena related to the concepts. This is why most of Java users have much difficulty in learning and using Java. As a solution to the problem, I have developed a tool Alpha that visualizes the phenomena occurred in the JVM from the standpoint of the concepts and will describe the design and features of the tool in this paper. For practicality and extendability Alpha has an MVC(Model-View-Controller) architecture and visualizes the phenomena such as object instantiations, method invocations, field accesses, cross-references among objects, and execution flows of threads in the various ways according to the levels and purposes of the users.
