  • The primary objective of this paper is to develop an interactive computer graphic aided decision su, pp.rt system for the design of inspection plans for complex production systems. This research first develops a computer simulator, called Simulator for Inspection Systems(SIS), in order to represent the production system as a network model. The simulator elicits fundamental information about the system from the decision maker(DM) in an interactive manner. A decision su, pp.rt system is then proposed by combining SIS and Compromise Programming. The system simulates a set of possible inspection strategies implicitly, observes all the important measurements about the inspection system, and employs the compromise programming a, pp.oach to help the DM determine the best compromising allocation of inspection effort considering his/her preferences. Finally, the performance of the proposed system is evaluated using two test cases. The pros and cons of the system are also discussed.

  • An Enhanced Shopfloor Oriented Programming(AESOP) system is developed as a programming utillity of the CNC turning machine. The developed system is specially designed to give a beginner the convenience for CNC part programming with graphical interaction between a machine operator and the AESOP system. The combination of process-oriented cycles and various contour programming as well as an immediate tool path verification support the easiness and swiftness of a part program generation in the shopfloor. Since the AESOP system has been designed to operate on the basis of MS-Windows in the PC-embedded CNC system, it is also useful for the training of the part programming by utilizing provailing personal computers in the educational department.

  • Some Developments in computer aided procedures for cold forging process and tool design of rotationally symmetric cup shape parts are described. The developed system enables appropriate forging sequence to be determined automatically, together with details of corresponding preform, die and punch design. The computer program developed is interactive and written in BASIC. This system not only assist the heavy work of designers but greatly shorten the time of design.

  • 연축성 발성장애(spasmodic dysphonia)는 아직까지 그 원인을 정확히 밝혀내지 못하고 있는 만성적인 발성장애로 과거에는 경직성 발성장애(spastic dysphonia)로 불리던 질환이다. 연축성 발성장애는 두 종류 즉, 내전형(adductor)과 외전형(abductor)으로 나누어지며 이중 내전형이 대부분이다. 외전형 연축성 발성장애는 발성도중에 성대가 갑자기 불수의적으로 외전되면서 음성이 중단되므로 원활히 대화하기가 힘든 질환이다. 이러한 질환은 국소적 근긴장이상(fecal dystonia)의 일종이다. 현재까지 연축성 발성장애의 치료법으로 사용되고 있는 것으로는 언어치료, botulium 독소주입술, 편측반회후두신경절 단술, 반회후두신경분쇄술, 상후두신경절단술, 갑상연골성형술, implantable stimulator 등이 있다. 연축성 발성장애 환자에 $Botox^{circledR}$ 주입에 관한 보고는 주로 내전형에 대해서만 보고되고 있으며 외전형에 대하여 보고된 예는 매우 적다.   • A kinetic model for particle coarsening behavior in the weld heat affected zone (HAZ) was proposed. Unlike the conventional approach, where the mean-sized particle is considered to grow continuously, the proposed model considered the critical particle size which can be derived from the Gibbs-Thomson equation. In this study, the proposed particle coarsening model was applied to study the behavior of (Ti, Nb )(C, N) complex particle in the weld HAZ. The predicted particle size distributions using the proposed model were in agreement with the experimental results.

  • Solar Cell의 TCO로써 연구중인 ZnO 박막을 제조함에 있어 Remote ICP PECVD 방법으로 개발된 공정기술을 응용하여 공정 변수인 소스간의 혼합비율, 공정압력, 공정온도, 플라즈마 파워 등의 공정조건을 조절하여 박막의 표면구조 및 (박막) 특성을 제어하는 것이 가능하다. 공정조건을 조절하여 박막두께와 표면결정크기를 변화시킴에 따라 광학적 특성의 변화가 발생하였으며 표면결정크기와 Haze 율이 관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 일반적으로 CVD 법에 의한 ZnO 박막의 표면결정크기는 박막의 두께가 증가함에 따라 성장하지만 공정조건의 조절을 통해 동일두께에서 결정크기의 조대화가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The Daehwa and Donsan tungsten-molybdenum deposits are composed of numerous fissure-filling veins developed in Precambrian gneiss and Cretaceous granite and quartz porphyry. K-Ar age of biotite in granite and that of muscovite in ore veins are $105{\pm}5\;Ma$ and 88.2~88.6 Ma respectively. Occurrence of ore deposits shows that relevant igneous rock is possibly quartz porphyry rather than above mentioned granite in temporal view point. Vein structure and mineralogy suggest that ore veins were formed by continuous vein filling, not by repeated mineralization. Three distinct depositional stages with decreasing age can be devided on the basis of mineral paragenesis and fluid inclusion studies: Stage I, deposition of oxides and silicates; stage II, deposition of base-metal sulfides and sulfosalts with carbonates; stage III, deposition of barren calcite and fluorite. Tungsten, molybdenum and tin mineralization occurred in stage I.

Surface change of enamel according to application time of 35% Carbamide Peroxide (35% Carbamide Peroxide gel의 적용시간에 따른 법랑질 변화)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the effect of 35% Carbamide Peroxide(CP) bleaching agent on the changes in physical and chemical characteristics of tooth. The effect of bleaching agent on enamel was analyzed using Hardness test, SEM and EDS. The microhardness between bleached groups after bleaching showed statistically significant difference according to the paired t-test. The bleached enamel surface showed apparent morphological changes compared to the enamel, which was stored in distilled water only. The difference of the total mineral contents for the distilled water and Carbamide Peroxide did not show statistical significance. These results demonstrated that bleaching using 35% Carbamide Peroxide were adversely affects application time of experimental group and may the safety of using these agents for a short time in dentist-monitored bleaching.

  • The mechanism design of the interactive emotional robot has been carried out. The two-wheeled inverted pendulum type mechanism was adopted to improve the mobility and make the innate clumsy monoaxial bicycle motion. Even though the system is unstable in itself, it is expected for the robot to move freely in a plane, keeping the upright position only with two wheels. Two motors attached on head can make 4 motion sets, and two motors on the wheels can make 8. Therefore, 32 independent motion sets can be achieved from the robot to communicate the emotions with humans. The motion's equation of the robot was derived based on nonholonomic dynamics, and the necessary power to the wheel's rotational axis was found by simulation.

견봉쇄골 관절 탈구의 수술적 치료

  • 저자들은 1990년 1월부터 1997년 1월까지 을지의과대학병원 정형외과에서 제3형 급성 견봉쇄골 관절 탈구로 진단받고 Phemister 방법, Bosworth 방법, Weaver and Dunn 방법등으로 수술 받은 70례의 환자에 대하여 이중 1년 이상 추시 가능하였던 60례를 대상으로 하여 임상적 및 방사선학적 분석을 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 수상후 평균 오구쇄골간격은 건측과 비교시 평균 7.1mm의 차이를 보였는데 수술 방법에 상관없이 추시시에는 평균 2mm의 차이를 보였다. 임상적 평가에서는 우수 23례$(38\%)$, 양호 31례$(52\%)$, 보통이 6례$(10\%)$를 보여 대부분 좋은 결과를 얻어 오구쇄골 간격 증가가 임상적 결과와 반드시 일치하지는 않는 결과를 가져왔다
