One of the key issues in the research of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) is the low-voltage operation. To address this issue, we synthesized poly(styrene-r-benzocyclobutene-r-methyl methacrylate) (P(S-r-BCB-r-MMA)) as a thermally cross-linkable gate dielectrics. The P(S-r-BCB-r-MMA) showed high quality dielectric properties due to the negligible volume change during the cross-linking. The pentacene FETs based on the 34 nm-thick P(S-r-BCB-r-MMA) gate dielectrics operate below 5 V. The P(S-r-BCB-r-MMA) gate dielectrics yielded high device performance, i.e. a field-effect mobility of $0.25cm^2/Vs$, a threshold voltage of -2 V, an sub-threshold slope of 400 mV/decade, and an on/off current ratio of ${\sim}10^5$. The thermally cross-linkable P(S-r-BCB-r-MMA) will provide an attractive candidate for solution-processable gate dielectrics for low-voltage OFETs.
In this work, carbon fibers were electrolessly Ni-plated in order to investigate the effect of metal plating on the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (EMI-SE) of Ni-coated carbon fibers-reinforced epoxy matrix composites. The surfaces of carbon fibers were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Electric resistance of the composites was tested using a 4-point-probe electric resistivity tester. The EMI-SE of the composites was evaluated by means of the reflection and adsorption methods. From the results, it was found that the EMI-SE of the composites enhanced with increasing Ni plating time and content. In high frequency region, the EMI-SE didn't show further increasing with high Ni content (Ni-CF 10 min) compared to the Ni-CF 5 min sample. In conclusion, Ni content on the carbon fibers can be a key factor to determine the EMI-SE of the composites, but there can be an optimized metal content at a specific electromagnetic frequency region in this system.
Zhangshi established his own ideal system in the process of self-cultivation in the Southern Song dynasty period, where academic exchanges were active. A common feature in the process of self-cultivation is the transformation of ideas. In the case of Zhangshi, his academic exchanges with contemporary mainstream scholars had a major impact on them, and Zhangshi was also able to systematize his own ideas. However, while there have been a lot of researches on the mainstream schools of the Southern Song period, there has been little research on the ideological trends and trends of the time when mainstream schools could have occurred. This paper attempts to understand the ideological trends of the Southern Song era by examining the formation process of the his theory of self-cultivation, and to examine the process of exchanging of mainstream schools through the field of self-cultivation. This work will be a meaningful process for understanding the philosophy of the Song era and for examining the tendency objectively. This paper examines the formation process of self-cultivation in the first half and the second half. In the first half, this paper refers to the ideological impact of schools that had influenced Zhangshi's thought, in the second half, this paper deals with the process of change of his theory of self-cultivation and then examines how his ideas had changed. This work will help to understand Zhangshi's own ideas and to understand how Zhu Xi's theory of Zhu xi, who had an ideological exchange with him, could be established.
This paper studies the restoration of Jeongeup notated in Daeakhubo to a singable song. Firstly, the melody of Jeongeup was restored by finding the rhythm of Jeongeup. Secondly, Jeongeup lyric written in Akhakgwebeom was added to the restored melody. Lastly, the musical style of restored Jeongeup song was investigated. The rhythm of Jeongeup was found to be the same as Jinjak's rhythm whose measure consists of four ternary subdivided beats. It is because the Jangdan of Jeongeup contains that of Jinjak. The Jangdan of Jeongeup is played one touch in a measure. Such ternary subdivided beat and one Janggo's touch in a measure were transmitted to today's Sujecheon. The lyric of Jeongeup was added to the restored melody of Jeongeup by following the lyric rules of Jinjak1,2 and Hoengsalmun. The lyric rules of Jinjak 1,2 and Hoengsalmun are as follows. One syllable is sung in two measures, Eodanseongjang 語短聲長 appears, long lasting tunes are mostly applied to Jang of Eodanseongjang 語短聲長, and syllables begin at the first beat in a measure. The musical style of Jeongeup is basically similar to that of Jinjak1, but there are some differences. They are similar in the sense that the melody is very long compared to the lyric and Eodanseongjang 語短聲長 appears. They are different in the sense that Jeongeup uses grace notes rather than Sigimsae when one tune lasts long. Jeongeup in Daeakhubo seems to have undergone changes, and its rhythm is likely to have been expanded two to four times in order to match Mugo dance after being used as an accompaniment to Mugo dance.
This study analyzes the determinants and patterns of regional migration in Myanmar. Population migration is affected by various factors such as economic and social factors as well as regional characteristics. It is affected by factors such as income, employment and social overhead capital. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the following two research problems. First, I would like to analyze whether the reform and opening of Myanmar is causing the migration of rural to urban population. Myanmar is also trying to verify the pattern of population migration experienced by other developing countries. Second, we analyze the impact of social overhead capital on population migration in Myanmar. We analyze the impact of basic infrastructure such as roads, electricity and water on population movements. This will give implications for investment policy decision of social overhead capital for balanced regional development. First, the pattern of population migration in Myanmar is shifting from rural to urban areas, as other developing countries have experienced. Myanmar's urban areas of Yangon and Mandalay have been analyzed as having migration. Second, the expansion of social overhead capital was found to have an impact. Social overhead capital such as roads and educational environments were analyzed to have the capacity to inhale the population. Especially, the educational environment of the region has a great effect on population migration. It is analyzed that education reform is an important policy issue for the balanced regional development of Myanmar. Fourth, employment opportunities were analyzed to have the greatest impact on Myanmar population movements. In the early stage of economic development, it is analyzed that the population moves to a region where employment opportunity is high in the situation where foreign capital is coming in. It is analyzed that the direction of inflow of foreign capital and the imbalance of development in the region will be determined in the situation where the economic development is carried out through foreign capital.
Along with the well-established evidence on the negative effect of social isolation on physical and mental health, increasing attention has been paid to multi-dimensional nature of social isolation. One line of study on social isolation has discussed different pathways between objective and subjective social isolation and health. Another stream of the research focused on the possibly non-linear association between social isolation and health by age cohort groups. Drawing from the two lines of research, this study aimed at empirically examine to what extent objective and subjective social isolation are associated with physical and mental health independently and how the associations vary by three age cohorts(i.e. the middle-aged, the young old, the old-old). Data came from the first wave of Korean Social Life, Health and Aging Project (KSHAP) (N= 814). Findings showed 1) objective subjective isolation were significantly related with worse physical and mental health, interestingly, subjective social isolation was associated with mental health only, 2) pattern of association between social isolation and physical health varied by age cohorts. Specifically, compared to the middle-aged, the young old with higher objective social isolation exhibited lower level of physical health, while the old-old with higher subjective social isolation were likely to experience lower physical health. Based on the findings, we discussed implications and suggestions for future research and relevant policy/program development for ameliorating objective and subjective social isolation.

Molybdenum disulfide ($MoS_2$) based electrocatalysts have been proposed as substitutes for platinum group metal (PGM) based electrocatalyst to hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in water electrolysis. Here, we studied $MoS_2/CNFs$ hybrid catalyst prepared by electrospinning method with heat treatment for polymer electrolyte membrane(PEM) water electrolysis to improve the HER activity. The physicochemical and electrochemical properties such as average diameter, crystalline properties, electrocatalitic activity for HER of synthesized $MoS_2/CNFs$ were investigated by the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Raman Spectroscopy (Raman) and Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV). The as spun ATTM/PVP nanofibers were prepared by sol-gel and electrospinning method. Subsequently, the $MoS_2/CNFs$ was dereived from reduction heat treatment of ATTM at the ATTM/PVP nanofibers and carbonization heat treatment. Synthesized $MoS_2/CNFs$ electrocatalyst had an average diameter of $179{\pm}30nm$. We confirmed that the $MoS_2$ layers in $MoS_2/CNF$ electrocatalyst consist of 3~4 layers from the Raman results. In addition, We confirmed that the $MoS_2$ layers in $MoS_2/CNF$ catalyst consist of 7.47% octahedral 1T phase $MoS_2$, 63.77% trigonal prismatic 2H phase $MoS_2$ with 28.75% $MoO_3$ through the XRD, Raman and XPS results. It was shown that $MoS_2/CNFs$ had the overpotential of 0.278 V at $10mA/cm^2$ and tafel slope of 74.8 mV/dec in 0.5 M sulfuric acid ($H_2SO_4$) electrolyte.
We studied the electrical properties of organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) fabricated at different deposition rates by measuring the field-effect mobility and the threshold voltages. As the active layer, pentacene thin film with a thickness of 50 nm was deposited at a rate of $0.05{\AA}/s$ to $1.14{\AA}/s$. The thickness of the drain-source gold electrode was 50 nm. The mobility was $1.9{\times}10^{-1}cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ at a deposition rate of $0.05{\AA}/s$, the mobility increased to $5.2{\times}10^{-1}cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ when the deposition rate was increased to $0.4{\AA}/s$, and then the mobility decreased to $6.5{\times}10^{-1}cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ when the deposition rate decreased to $1.14{\AA}/s$. Thus, the mobility of pentacene OTFTs was observed to depend on the thermal deposition rate.

Paul Auster's The Locked Room, the third novel of The New York Trilogy, has been examined by many critics in terms of anti-detective fiction or postmodernism. However, this paper focuses upon how the author adopts and utilizes some key elements of the traditional detective novel and its literary tradition. Mystery storytelling is one of Auster's literary strategies and the theme of the double is another. For his novel Auster explores the theme of the double as in Poe's "William Wilson." In The Locked Room, the narrator "I" is described as a shadow of his childhood friend Fanshawe. After Fanshawe's disappearance "I" becomes a literary agent for his friend, and becomes a husband of his friend's wife and a father of his friend's child. Searching for information to write a biography of his friend, he realizes that his friend has always been living inside his skull condemned to a mystical solitude. When Fanshawe appears in the narrator's mind as an image of the door of a locked room, the locked room is also a metaphor for the closed consciousness of the narrator. In his strategy of mystery storytelling, Auster employs the quest of detective fiction as well as the irony of Oedipus the King, where the criminal pursued by the king turns out to be himself. The Locked Room starts with the mystery of Fanshawe's disappearance, and as the novel develops, the narrator pursues numerous clues about his biographical subject like a private eye. Ironically, however, he finds that the ghost of Fanshawe has always been with him and that this is inevitable. As the narrator resolves to quit his life as a double, he contrives to name a strange man Fanshawe as if he tries to turn his biographical subject into a fictional character in the same way Fanshawe has controlled the narrator like a character in Fanshawe's novel. Beaten by the fictional Fanshawe and recovering from a near-death experience, the narrator prepares for his final showdown with Fanshawe. The transcendence of his existence as a double is epitomized by his act to tear off the red notebook handed to him by Fanshawe, which confusingly delivers a message that a life is doomed to be a failure. The narrator's act to cut off Fanshawe's influence bespeaks his breaking out of his locked consciousness and a new start for his life with his own identity.
