This paper deals with the problem of multiuser detection over a direct-sequence code-division multiple access (DS-CDMA) channel with incomplete channel state informations (I-CSI). We devise and assess two novel recursive detectors based on the expectation conditional maximization (ECM) algorithm and the generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) principle, respectively. Both receivers entail an affordable computational complexity. Moreover, the performance assessment, conducted via Monte Carlo techniques, shows that they achieve satisfactory performance levels and outperform linear detectors.

In this paper, we consider a downlink non-orthogonal multiple access system with a base station and N mobile stations, where we assume that instantaneous channel state information (CSI) is available at the base station. A power allocation scheme is proposed to achieve perfect fairness, which means equal data rates for all mobile stations. However, the power allocation scheme using full CSI requires high complexity. Hence, a simple power allocation scheme with low complexity is proposed by using high signal-to-noise power ratio (SNR) approximation. The simple power allocation scheme can achieve perfect fairness only for high SNR. However, it needs only the best CSI and the simple procedure to obtain power allocation coefficients. From simulation results, we show that the simple power allocation scheme provides remarkable fairness performance at high SNR.

공간정보의 폭발적 증가와 공간정보 활용 기술의 발전으로 국토의 비교우위를 유지하기 위한 공간정보와 도시계획 및 부동산 정보 융복합 수요가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국토 경쟁력 강화를 위해 필요한 융복합 공간정보의 장래 국토공간 계획 및 이용 활용도를 전망해 보았다. 이를 위해 국토, 주택분야 공기업인 한국토지주택공사(LH)의 장래 2029년까지 6대 분야별 미래사업을 도출하였다. 또한 문헌조사를 통해 도출한 7종의 융복합 공간정보의 미래사업 분야별 활용도를 설문조사하여 국토주택개발 분야의 미래 활용을 분석해 보았다. 분석결과 3D, 모바일 데이터, 정형 빅데이터, 지오센서, 참여형 공간정보 순으로 활용도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 사업분야에서는 도시 및 지역개발이 활용도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 미래 융복합 공간정보 활성화를 위해서는 토지이용 이외에 해양이용, 연안이용, 지하공간 등 균형있는 국토이용 공간정보의 구축이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

A novel six-step current source inverter (CSI) with DC-side commutation and energy rebound capability is presented with detailed explanation of the circuit operation. The prposed inverter can operate in a very wide range of frequency and load variation by employing DC-side commutation. Also, the energy rebound makes the use of low voltage SCR's possible and increases the inverter efficiency. Motor operation is also possible in four quadrants in this proposed current source inverter. The advantages of the proposed CSI over conventional ones are described and experimental results are given in oscillograms.

The time optimal position control scheme based on the Pontryagin's minimum principle is proposed in the current source inverter(CSI) fed induction motor system. The field oriented induction motor system is modelled with a second order plant and a switching curve is obtained by solving Hamiltonian equation. The validity of time optimal control solution has been verified by experimental tests carried out with a prototype MC68000 based microcomputer system, and 5Hp induction motor. Experimental results are in a close agreement with those the digital simulation ones.

In this paper, a novel codebook generation strategy is proposed. With the given codebooks, two codeword selection procedures are proposed and analyzed for generating the quantized multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel state information (CSI). Furthermore, three different quantization and normalization strategies are analyzed. The simulation results suggest that the proposed 'quantized channel generation method 2' is the best strategy to reduce the quantization and normalization errors to generate the final quantized MIMO CSI.

In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing based wireless system, a pilot signal is often employed to estimate channel state information (CSI). However, the received pilot signal is interfered by other cell interference in multi-cell environments. We consider the estimation of CSI by utilizing orthogonal preambles and channel correlation.

In the current source inverters (CSI), which are widely used recently in many applications, in order to reduce the harmonic contents in the output line current, twelve-step waveform is synthesized usually by a phase-shifted addition of the output currents of two single CSI's. In this paper a new method of synthesis of the 12-step current waveform is suggested which employes a main and a new auxiliary inverters having lower capacity, and thus is economically advantageous over the conventional scheme. DC-side commutation and energy rebond circuit as described in Part I are also employed in this proposed twelve-step CIS for effective commutation and high reliability. Experimental results are also given in oscillgrams.

A simple method that estimates the torque fluctuations in induction motor driven by CSI under steady state condition is presented and that uses the phasor diagram from the modified singlephase equivalent circuit. This method is also applied to evaluate the PWM and programmed do link modulation techniques for reducing the torque pulsations. The simplified calculations are compared with the exact digital solutions from machine D-Q equation. It is noted that the torque pulsations in induction motor driven by CSI are dependent upon the load condition unlike VSI.
