Objectives : As Daily Dose of Zizyphi Fructus was designated by the numbers in Treatise on Cold Damage Disease, estimation of Daily Dose was all different among researchers. The purpose of this study was to estimate exact Daily Dose of Zizyphi Fructus. Methods : We fixed the errors in various copy of Treatise on Cold Damage Disease and considered the meaning of the Bee Zizyphi Fructus(肥大棗) and general rules of Daily Dose in Treatise on Cold Damage Disease. So we reduced Daily Dose of Zizyphi Fructus, and compared this with the standard of Zizyphy Fructus in Pharmacopoeia of several Nation and Korean Forest Service. Results : Daily Dose of Zizyphi Fructus was generally 12 pieces; less was for prescriptions which scaled down the amount of ingredients prescribed in the originals; 15, 25, and 30 pieces were used when more was required. The medicinal part was the pulp of fructus, and the dosage of 12 pieces was respectively equivalent to 3 Ryang(兩), and 19.5 g. As defined in the Korean Pharmacopoeia Ninth Edition and standards of forest products by Korea Forest Service, Zizyphi Fructus was medium-sized, and weighs about 1.625 g if properly dehydrated. Conclusions : In short, the proper Daily Dose of Zizyphi Fructus in Treatise on Cold damage Disease was 12 pieces of Zizyphi Fructus and 19.5 g of its pulp, weighing three Ryang(兩). The pulp was estimated to be 1.625 g; it was medium-sized according to the present standard.

The purpose of this research was to investigate science teachers' thoughts about hypotheses and rules related to the contents of ninth grade 'Construction of Matter' and 'Rules of Matter Change' chapters. The changes of their thoughts through experience of the abduction viewpoint were also analyzed. Twenty-two science teachers in the masters course took lessons and discussions related to the abduction viewpoint in the course of three weeks. The changes in thought of four teachers selected among them were investigated through individual interviews and their reports. From the investigation, it was found that the two teachers who had not recognized the problems of textbook content order could distinguish rules and hypotheses after the lessons and discussions. The two teachers who had recognized the problems before the lessons gained the abduction viewpoint through the lessons. They also recognized new opinions related to teaching styles for students and the meaning of the abduction viewpoint on education.

85% of South Korea's gross domestic product(GDP) depends on trade. Exports amount in 2011 exceeds $ 5,000Billion. Korea is expected to achieve $ 1 trillion in total trade volume and will become finally the ninth in the world. We do not have a lot of natural resources and are bound to export the finished products to pursue economic development. In other words, trade sector is very essential for Korea to continue economic growth. The department of trade in universities have brought up the concerned students serving for trade sectors. Currently, "half-price tuition" in universities has become very controversial issue in Korea so this paper studies the efficiency of "the Department" because the universities may reconsider the adjustment of tuition fee, if they can enhance the efficiency level. DEA model is used for the analysis. As a result, 8 DMUs like KAN1, KEI5, BAE10 etc. show relatively higher efficiency levels.

The program for overcoming shyness consisted of four step-by-step parts, understanding shyness, overcoming anxiety, improving self-esteem, and promoting self-assertion. Participants were 6 boys and 10 girls from three kindergarten classes. The two gender groups were randomly assigned to either the experimental or the control group. The experimental group participated in the program for 50 minutes per day twice a week for 12 sessions, and the control group received no treatment. Eight non-shy children also joined the program in the ninth and tenth sessions. Findings indicated that shyness in the experimental group decreased significantly while the control group maintained previous levels of shyness, implying that early intervention programs have potential effectiveness for reducing shyness in young children.

This study examined the mediating roles of parent and peer attachment in the relationship between academic stress and suicidal impulse among Korean adolescents. The 2959 ninth grade students in this study were selected from among 3211 students(excluding missing cases) who participated in the Korean Youth Panel Study. Following Baron & Kenny's(1986) suggestion, the mediator model was employed to analyze parent and peer attachment. Results showed that academic stress had a significant relationship with adolescent's suicidal impulse. Parent attachment acted as a partial mediator between academic stress and suicidal impulse; that is parent attachment provided a protective mechanism minimizing the direct effects of academic stress. However, peer attachment had no significant relationship with academic stress.

The neurilemmoma is a relatively uncommon benign neoplasm which is known to be originated from the schwann sheath of the nerve fiber. Parapharyngeal neurilemmomas may originate from any nerve traversing this space, but the vast majority arise from the vagus nerve and sympathetic chain. The neurilemmomas arising from the extracranial portion of the hypoglossal nerve are extremely rare. To our knowledge, the case we present is the ninth one to be reported occurring in the parapharyngeal space. Recently we experienced a case of parapharyngeal neurilemmoma arising from the hypoglossal nerve and so we report our case with a brief review of literatures.

This study basically investigates the meaning and properties of performance task applicable to mathematics classroom and it finds out how to run effectively performance task activities included in the present mathematics textbooks. To accomplish this, this study deals with twelves kinds of mathematics textbooks for ninth graders and is proceeded on the basis of textbook analysis and teacher interview. Considering a situation that in future mathematics textbook would be developed, according to the analytic results of this study, common understanding of performance task and qualified performance task are needed, a variety of tasks classified by differentiated level are needed. In addition, each task should be dealt with the contents related to curious and interesting real-life situations. Furthermore, fairness of checking and recording should be established and teachers' positive attitudes to applying performance tasks to math class are needed.

Here represents a case of aneurysmal bone cyst which is very rare non neoplastic bone tumor especially in rib. The aneurysmal bone cyst usually arises from long bones of the upper and lower extemities and tt-e spine, which together account for 60 to 70 per cent of cases. In this case the tumor is found in right ninth rib on routine chest X-ray. It is resected successfully and the result is excellent.

Recently, we experienced a case of rare neurilemmoma originated from intercostal nerve [9th] in the right chest wall in a 25 year old male officer. The tumor was incidentally found in the routine chest X ray, where the round well circumscribed mass tumor the ninth rib with notching and sclerotic margin, suggesting slowly growing benign benign of chest wall was revealed and the tumor mass was easily extirpated in the exploratory thoracotomy, with uneventful recovery. Grossly, the tumor was firm, partly soft and well circumscribed, measuring 4.5X3.0X 3.0 cm with yellowish smooth outer surface, attached with intercostal nerve trunk. Cut surface exhibits partly grayish white and largely hemorrhagic areas. Microscopically, the characteristic palisading arrangement of schwann cells and Verocay bodies are seen but dominant features are cystic degeneration and hemorrhage with organization and fibrosis. The sheath of intercostal nerve and capsule of neurilemmoma were con joined. There is no evidence of malignancy. The tumor was confirmed as neurilemmoma of intercostal nerve, Antony type B.

Fast improvements in microsurgery have opened new strategies in the field of reconstructive trauma surgery that can be applied to severe elbow trauma management. The disadvantages of pedicle flaps can be overcome in the hand of an experienced trauma surgeon by using free flaps based on the perforators. This provides the patient with the best possible wound cover within the optimal time frame and the treatment of underlying additional structural damage. Although the authors presented only a small number of cases, the results of this study are promising and encourage the use of the ALT flap for the treatment of severe elbow trauma.
