재료의 기계적 물성측정 시험장치를 위한 이중서보 시스템에 관한 연구 (Study of Dual Servo System for Measurement System of Mechanical Property)

  • This paper presents a measurement system of mechanical property using dual servo system. There are many kinds of method to measure material properties such as tensile test, indention and bending test. It is highly required to measure the properties of nano-sized material and structure. However, It is need more accurate measurement system, more stable and frequency response than conventional test. In this paper, we designed the dual servo system for a measuring instrument The dual servo system consisting of a coarse stage and a fine motion stage with VCM and PZT is proposed. Mechanical mechanism is designed with the leaf spring type of flexure hinge joint. Lead compensator is applied to this control system, and is designed by PQ method.

  • In optical disk drives, one of commonly used pickup actuator is a Sliding and rotary type of pickup actuator which is cheaper than other pickup actuators and has simple assembly. However, it reported that non-linearity due to friction between a shaft and a sleeve had to be considerably analyzed in design and servo system in employing this type of pickup actuator. In this paper, this friction is modeled as a Coulomb's friction and the effect of friction is examined in the simulation. A digital servo system is applied to pickup actuator with friction in order to have good focusing servo. To enhance focusing servo performance using digital servo merit, frist PD-controller is applied to have fast response performance, second lead-lag compensator is applied to have stable focusing performance.

  • Recently, the disturbance caused by an optical disk vibration and the external vibration/shock are more serious problem in an optical disk drives (ODD) as an ODD become small size and rotation speed increases. The conventional controller cannot cope with the mentioned problems properly when the disturbance and vibration are larger than some range. Therefore, we propose a new control scheme using a disturbance observer (DOB) and it can control the aforementioned problems. The designed the controller is applied to a commercial ODD in focusing direction, then its validity is proved by experimental method. By rising the disturbance observer theory, the focusing performance is conspicuously improved in the presence of sinusoidal vibrations or a shock disturbance. This algorithm also applies to a tracking structure also, because focusing structure is very similar to it.

A Simple Grid-Voltage-Sensorless Control Scheme for PFC Boost Converters

  • This paper introduces a simple grid-voltage-sensorless control scheme for single-phase power factor correction (PFC) boost converters. The grid voltage waveform is obtained based on the dc output voltage, the switching duty ratio, and a phase-lead compensator. In addition, the duty ratio feedback is utilized to obtain the unity input power factor and the zero harmonic current. The proposed control scheme is designed and mathematically analyzed based on a small-signal model of PFC boost converters. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme, several simulations and experiments are carried out in two applications: an industrial power system with a 60 Hz grid frequency and a commercial aircraft application with a 400 Hz grid frequency.

Dynamic Embedded Optimization Applied to Power System Stabilizers

  • The systematic optimal tuning of power system stabilizers (PSSs) using the dynamic embedded optimization (DEO) technique is described in this paper. A hybrid system model which has the differential-algebraic-impulsive-switched (DAIS) structure is used as a tool for the DEO of PSSs. Two numerical optimization methods, which are the steepest descent and Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno (BFGS) algorithms, are investigated to implement the DEO using the hybrid system model. As well as the gain and time constant of phase lead compensator, the output limits of PSSs with non-smooth nonlinearities are considered as the parameters to be optimized by the DEO. The simulation results show the effectiveness and robustness of the PSSs tuned by the proposed DEO technique on the IEEE 39 bus New England system to mitigate system damping.

  • Information storage devices using disks have a disk vibration at the frequency which is equivalent to the disk rotational speed. They also have a track vibration due to the disk eccentricity at the same frequency. In near field recording systems, the former affects the air-gap servo and the latter affects the tracking servo. In this paper, we introduce a novel control algorithm based on the internal model principle to both servos. A controller block designed by the principle is connected to the base lead-lag type compensator in parallel in order to cancel the repeatable run-out due to the disk vibration or eccentricity. Simulation and practical application of the algorithm on a near field recording system show good servo performance.

유압 트랜스미션의 본드선도 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 (Computer Aided Bondgraphs Modeling and Simulation of Hydrostatic Transmission)

  • To get the time response characteristics of the hydrostatic transmission, seaborne winch is modelde by using bond graphs. After modeling of its basic elements, it is represented as power flow, and the determination of variable causality. The state equations are derived by using CAMP. As dynamic stabilites and solutions are investigated by perturbation method and direct integration, winch system is stable. Simulations are performed under the conditions of low speed, high speed, and maximum tension. The pressure and flow rate of the hydrostatic transmission have a big overshoot. But when it is comparaed to the empirical data with simulation results, it is similar to each other. When a lead compensator is applied to improve response characteristics of the hydrostatic transmission, rise time and overshoot of the system are improved.

  • 최근 렌즈 가공 및 측정 기술의 발전에 따라 렌즈의 제작 조립 기술이 개선되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 렌즈 제작 조립 기술의 상향에 따른 비용 및 제작 기간의 증가, 온도 및 진동 등의 사용 환경 의존도를 해결하지 못해 이에 따른 불안정해지는 성능 등을 극복하지 못하였다. 또한, 초정밀 광학계에서 효과적으로 민감도를 줄이는 방법은 다수의 보상자를 이용하는 방법인데, 특히 내시경 같은 초소형 렌즈의 경우 렌즈 경통 크기 제약으로 인하여 상거리 보상자 이외 추가적인 보상자 사용에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 렌즈 설계에 있어 공차에 대한 렌즈의 민감도를 최소화하는 것은 무엇보다도 중요한 기술인 바 이를 위한 노력이 필요하며, 렌즈 설계 소프트웨어에서도 민감도를 줄일 수 있는 기능들이 추가되는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 우선 성능이 최적화된 설계를 도출하고, 이 설계의 민감도를 분석하여 민감도가 높은 요소들을 다중 구성(multi-configuration)에 적용한 뒤 다시 최적화함으로써 렌즈 민감도를 최소화하였으며 사례를 들어 다중 구성 방법이 민감도 저감에 매우 효과적임을 보여주었다.

전신조사방사선치료 시 Isodose Structure를 이용한 Field-in-Field Technique의 유용성 평가 (Feasibility Study of Isodose Structure Based Field-in-Field Technique for Total Body Irradiation)

  • 목 적: 본원에서는 전신조사방사선치료 시 양 팔을 몸에 붙이고 누워있는 환자에게 좌우 양방향으로 방사선을 조사한다. 누운 자세는 기준점 두께에 대하여 신체 다른 부위와 두께 차이가 크기 때문에 보상체의 제작이 필요하고, 기준 깊이(Umbilicus) 처방선량에 대하여, 양팔(Arms)로 가려지지 않은 흉부와 복부 전면(Anterior)은 최대 20%까지의 선량차이가 나는 고 선량 영역이 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전신조사방사선치료 시 고 선량 영역과의 선량 차이를 줄일 수 있는 Isodose Structure를 이용한 Field-in-Field (FIF) Technique의 유용성을 평가 하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 인체모형등가팬텀(Rando Phantom, Alderson Resarch Laboratories Inc. Stamford. CT, USA, With Arm)으로 전산화단층촬영모의치료기의 영상을 획득하여 FIF와 납(Pb) 보상체를 이용한 전산화치료계획(Eclipse, version 10.0, Varian, USA)을 수립하였다. 두 치료계획의 흉부와 복부 부위의 선량분포를 비교하고, 수립된 치료계획을 이용하여 인체모형등가팬텀에 선량을 조사한 후, 열형광선량계(thermoluminescence dosimeter, TLD)와 필름(Film)을 이용하여 측정하였다. 결 과: 두 치료계획을 비교해 본 결과 기준깊이 처방선량에 대하여 팔로 가려지지 않은 흉부와 복부 전면의 선량차이는 FIF에서는 106~107%, 납 보상체를 이용한 치료계획에서는 114~124%였다. 열형광선량계를 분석한 결과로 FIF에서는 104~107%, 납 보상체를 이용한 치료계획에서는 110~117%의 기준깊이 처방선량과의 선량차이가 나왔다. 결 론: 본 실험에서 인체모형등가팬텀에 양 팔을 제작하여 치료 계획 및 선량을 조사해 보았다. 양 팔의 투과 유무에 따라 약 7~17%의 선량차이가 발생 하였다. 4단계의 FIF 기법으로 3차원 치료계획을 수립하여 전신에 약 95~107%의 균등한 선량 분포를 확인하였고 ${\pm}10%$ 이내의 선량 균일성을 유지 할 수 있을 것으로 분석 되었다. FIF 기법을 이용한 3차원 치료 계획은 환자 전신에 조사되는 선량을 미리 분석 할 수 있는 치료 계획으로 기존 치료 방법보다 균등한 선량의 전달이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

Load-adaptive 180-Degree Sinusoidal Permanent-Magnet Brushless Motor Control Employing Automatic Angle Compensation

  • This paper reports a sinusoidal $180^{\circ}$ drive for a permanent magnet (PM) brushless motor employing automatic angle compensator to suppress the driving loss during the wide-range load operation. The proposed drive of the sinusoidal $180^{\circ}$ PM Brushless motor reduced the amplitude of the 3-phase current by compensating for the lead-angle of the fundamental waves of the 3-phase PWM signal. The conventional lead-angle method was implemented using the fixed angle or memorized table, whereas the proposed method was automatically compensated by calculating the angle of the current and voltage signal. The algorithm of the proposed method was verified in a 30 W PM brushless motor system using a PSIM simulator. The efficiency of the conventional method was decreased 90 % to 60 %, whereas that of proposed method maintained approximately 85 % when the load shift was 0 to $0.02N{\cdot}m$. Using an FPGA prototype, the proposed method was evaluated experimentally in a 30 W PM brushless motor system. The proposed method maintained the minimum phase RMS current and 79 % of the motor efficiency under 0 to $0.09N{\cdot}m$ load conditions. The proposed PM brushless motor driving method is suitable for a variety of applications with a wide range of load conditions.
