웨이브렛 변환을 이용한 부분방전신호의 잡음제거 특성 (Noise elimination of PD signal using Wavelet Transform)

  • In this paper, As the wavelet transform has the properties of multi-resolution analysis and time-frequency domain localization, application of wavelet transform is used at partial discharge(PD) signal detected by electromagnetic wave detection method to extract PD signal's various frequency component and its time domain. therefore we can analyzed PD signal's time-frequency domain simultaneously. On the other hand, using wavelet transform denoising process, inclued noise signal in detected PD signal is well elimiated. we can propose the true shape of PD signal.

홍삼유출액으로부터 Diaion HP-20 수지 흡착법에 의한 조사포닌의 분리 (An Isolation of Crude Saponin from Red-Ginseng Efflux by Diaion HP-20 Resin Adsorption Method)

  • This study was carried out to isolate saponin compounds from red-ginseng efflux, which was produced during the industrial processing of red-ginseng from fresh ginseng. We isolated crude saponin from the efflux extract (moisture content 35.0%) by using Diaion HP-20 adsorption method. Non-saponin fraction, which was adsorbed on Diaion HP-20 resin, was removed by eluating with $H_{2}O$ and 25% spirit. Then crude saponin was eluated with 95% spirit, continuously. Saponin in the eluated fractions was confirmed by TLC analysis. Crude saponin isolated from red ginseng efflux extract contained 12.10% of saponin. whereas those of white ginseng and red-ginseng were 3.30 and 3.39%, respectively. Ginsenoside contents showed the highest contents kin crude saponin from red ginseng efflux extract. Expacilly, the ginsenoside-$Rb_{1}$ and Re showed the highest contents in red-ginseng efflux extract when compared with those of white ginseng and red ginseng crude saponins. And the other ginsenosides except ginsenoside-$Rb_{1}$ and -Re also showed the highest contents in red ginseng efflux extract. However, the ratio of PD saponin (Panaxadiol saponin: $Rb_{1}+Rb_{2}$+Rc+Rd) to PT saponin (panaxatriol: $Re+Rg_{1}$) showed almost the same level when compared with those of ginseng saponin fractions. Ratio of PD/PT from red ginseng efflux extract was 1.99. Ratios of PD/PT from white ginseng and red ginseng were 1.85 and 1.84, respectively. Saponin purity, which was calculated by ratio percent of total ginsenoside to curde saponin content, was 45.90%. In case of white ginseng and red ginseng, the purities were 35.50 and 36.00%, respectively. However, by PHLC analysis, we confirmed that crude saponin isolated from red ginsengs. It suggested that crude saponin isolated from red ginseng ellux also would be useful component as ginseng saponins.

  • 한국 식품연구원에서 분양받은 48종의 효모들의 PD broth 배양 농축물들의 혈전용해활성을 조사하였다. Saccharomyces cerevisiae Y99-7의 PD broth 배양 농축물이 25 mm의 용해환(clear zone)을 보여 가장 높은 혈전용해 활성을 보였다. 또한 선발 효모를 PD broth 배지로 $30^{\circ}C$에서 24 h 배양하였을 때 yeast extract-peptone dextrose 배양농축물 보다 높은 혈전용해활성을 보였다.

In vivo Effects of Salicornia herbacea and Calystegia soldanella Extracts for Memory Improvement

  • The global elderly population, aged 65 and over, reached approximately 10% in 2020, and this proportion is expected to continue rising. Therefore, the prevalence of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease (PD), which are characterized by declining memory capabilities, is anticipated to increase. In a previous study, we successfully restored the diminished memory capabilities in a fruit fly model of PD by administering an omija extract. To identify functional ingredients that can enhance memory akin to the effects of the omija extract, we conducted screenings by administering halophyte extracts to the PD model. Halophytes are plants that thrive in high-salt environments, and given Korea's geographic proximity to the sea on three sides, it serves as an optimal hub for the utilization of these plants. Upon examining the effects of the oral administration of 12 halophyte extracts, Salicornia herbacea and Calystegia soldanella emerged as potential candidates for ameliorating memory loss in PD model flies. Moreover, our findings suggested that C. soldanella, but not S. herbacea, can mitigate oxidative stress in DJ-1β mutants.

쇠고기 엑기스 분말 휘발성 성분의 최적 추출방법에 관한 연구 (Optimum Extraction Methods of Volatile Compounds in Beef Extract Powder)

  • 쇠고기 엑기스 분말로부터 방사선 조사 휘발성 화합물의 검출에 의한 새로운 검지방법의 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 마련하고자 S-PD 법, S-CD 법, P&T 법 및 LLCE 법 등 4종의 방법을 대상으로 휘발성 화합물의 추출을 위한 최적의 방법을 선정하고자 하였다. 그 결과 쇠고기 엑기스 분말로부터 탄화수소류, 알데히드류, 케톤류, 알콜류, 함황화합물류, 함질소화합물류, 방향족화합물류, 테르펜류, 푸란류 및 기타 화합물류로 구성된 106종의 휘발성 화합물이 검출되었으며, 이 중 S-PD법에 의해 62종의 화합물이 검출됨으로써 가장 많은 화합물을 나타내었고, 다음으로 P&T 법(43종), LLCE 법(38종) 및 S-CD 법(30종) 순이었다. S-PD 법은 RI 1200 이상의 휘발성이 약하며 분자량이 높은 화합물에 대한 검출능이 높았고, P&T 법은 RI 1200 이하의 화합물의 검출능이 높은 경향을 나타냄으로서, 위 두 방법은 상호보완적인 경향을 나타내었다. 한편 S-CD법에 의해 검출된 화합물은 3종을 제외하고 S-PD 법에 의해서도 검출 가능하였으며, LLCE 법의 경우는 5종의 화합물을 제외하고 S-PD 법과 P&T법을 병용할 경우 모두 검출 가능한 화합물로 구성되어 있었다. 따라서 비극성 fiber(PDMS/DVB)를 사용한 SPME 법과 P&T 법을 병용하는 방법이 쇠고기 엑기스 분말의 휘발성 화합물을 추출하기 위한 최적의 방법으로 선정되었다.

광섬유 센서를 이용한 부분방전 측정연구 (A Study on Partial Discharge Measurement using Optical Fiber Sensors)

  • In this paper, an optical fiber sensor(OF sensor) utilizing the principal of Mach-Zehnder interferometer were proposed to detect the partial discharge signals in insulating oil. At first the AC breakdown signals were detected to check the response of the OF sensor. The detected signals from OF sensor was consistent with that from current probe. After the response checking, simultaneous measurements and continuous recording were made of electrical and the OF sensor signals from partial discharge(PD) produced by IEC(b) electrode system immersed in insulating oil. The continuous recording made it possible to extract basic quantities of PD from the OF sensor signals, such as pulse phase and pulse amplitude distribution. Through the signal analysis, the absolute peaks of the OF sensor PD signal was found to be increased with the amplitude of electrical signals, and these results mean that there is a strong correlation between OF sensor and electrical PD signals. It was demonstrated that the OF sensor in this research had a possibility to detect the PD signals in power apparatus.

  • This paper describes a partial discharge (PD) on-line monitoring system used for large turbine generators. The system consists of a broadband current transducer, a computer-aid PD measurement system. By using a programmable fabricate band pass filter and an adaptive digital filter, the system can suppress the noise and extract PD signal from the intense noise surroundings successfully. Two simulated PD sources, which often exist in the large generators, were simulated and detected. At the end of this paper, some field test results, obtained from a 200MW generating set, were presented and discussed.

  • 본 논문은 전기적 검출법에 의해 측정된 부분방전 신호에 대하여 웨이브렛 변환을 적용하여 각기 다른 주파수 성분을 동시에 추출하고 이들의 시간정보를 얻음으로써 시간과 주파수 영역에서 동시에 해석할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고, 웨이브렛 변환의 노이즈 제거기법을 적용하여 부분방전 측정시에 포함되어 있는 노이즈를 제거하여 잡음제거 효과를 나타내었다.

pH 및 고온 열처리가 홍삼물추출물의 주종 사포닌 성분변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of pH and High Temperature Treatment on the Changes of Major Ginsenosides Composition in Korean Red Ginseng Water Extract)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the changes of ginsenosides composition in Korean red ginseng water extract (RGWE) after heated with high temperatures above $100^{\circ}C$. RGWEs were adjusted with pH 3.0, pH 7.0 and pH 10.0, respectively, and then heated at 100,110 and $120^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes by using autoclave. Total ginsenosides of RGWE treated with heating showed decreasing tendency when compared with control. By TLC analysis, decreasing effect of ginsenosides in RGWE were significantly observed in the acidic condition of pH 3.0, particulary. By HPLC analysis, total ginsenoside of control showed 1.89%, while those of RGWE treated with 100, 110 and $120^{\circ}C$ showed 1.22, 1.05 and 0.97%, respectively. The ratio of protopanaxadiol (PD) to protopanaxatriol (Pr) saponins in control was 1.89, while that of PD/PT in treated RGWEs were level of 1.33 to 1.47. By the result of decreased ratio of PD/PT in RGWE, it was considered that PD type saponin such as ginsenoside$-Rb_{1}$, $-Rb_{1}$, -Rc and -Rd was more unstable than PT type saponin such as ginsenoside-Re and Rg against high temperature heating above $100^{\circ}C$.

1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophridine으로 유도된 파킨슨병 쥐에서의 도파민 신경세포 손상에 대한 PD-1 처방의 보호 효과 (Neuroprotective Effect of PD-1 Extract in MPTP-lesioned Mouse Model of Parkinson's Disease)

  • Objectives: The aim of the present study was to explore the neuroprotective effect and the possible mechanism of the PD-1 extracts on 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophridine (MPTP)-lesioned C57BL/6 mouse model of Parkinson's disease (PD). Methods: The mice were supplemented (or not) with 50 or 100 mg/kg/day of PD-1 for 2 weeks, after which MPTP was injected intraperitoneally. We observed that daily administration of PD-1 prevented MPTP-induced depletion of striatal DA, and maintained striatal and nigral tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) protein levels. Results: Our results demonstrated that mice treated with PD-1 prior to MPTP administration showed more abundant TH-immunopositive (TH-ir) fibers and neurons than mice given only MPTP, indicating that PD-1 protects dopaminergic striatal fibers and nigral neurons from MPTP insults. Possible neuroprotective effect of PD-1 was further studied by the detection of antiapoptotic protein (bcl-2) and proapoptotic protein (Bax). In this assay, MPTP elevated the Bax protein and decreased the bcl-2 protein, while these expressions were prevented by PD-1 pre-treatment. Conclusions: The present results suggest that PD-1 is able to protect dopaminergic neurons from MPTP-induced neuronal injury with anti-apoptotic activity being one of the possible mechanisms.
